I'll write something more in depth soon but i have started coming up with Christmas designs and a few essence outfits :))) (specifically putting the curator into alvas release essence as an overseer/lookout in a tower lol, and the architect into the upcoming season as a storyboarder for pictures in the journal) I'm excited to doodle those,,,
At this point ill just say their names, because anyone who knows my account would have already recognized them (ăďźâďź). The curators name is Montague Chastain and the architect's is Saint Sallow (self chosen name for the win,,! Saint is my trans king)!!
Saint is friends or at least well aquainted with a lot of people I think, with the exception of a few (Aesop for example, the embalmer scares himđ). Hes pretty happy with both listening or rambling to others. I think he'd get along pretty well with Victor since he'd love to send him letters and isn't overwhelmingly extroverted/overwhelming,, I also think he'd be good friends with Alva, murro, Mike, and Edgar! He doesn't try very hard to make deep friendships with *everyone*, and will only keep up a close relationship with those he really connects with, but still likes to talk and chill with most people there :) He also has a past with one of my other ocs, Cecil, as he came to sketch up some interior plans for his family's estate before the manor!
Montague also is fine with most people with the exception of few, but I don't think other survivors would be as fond of him compared to Saint because of his neutral/off putting behavior. He would definitely get along with Alva since he also likes talking to people who are passionate in their interests/work. He'd also probably just feel more comfortable with him since Alva is a little similar in personality. He'd also get along decently with Florian, Luchino (surv), Antonio, and Demi. They're all people I think wouldn't mind his behavior and could actually engage with him without any weird feelings or looks floating about. He would absolutely not get along with Vera, Andrew (from Andrews side as Montague would want to be aquainted with him but would probably upset him accidentally), and Orpheus. He would still get along with luchinos hunter form theoretically, but he'd personally have a hard time adjusting to the new form & such.
Also, đťâ¸ď¸ anon your ocs seem very cool!!!
Once I have more art up of them both (especially saint since I haven't posted any art of him on my blog yet) I'll come off of anon (ŕšËĚľăá´ăËĚľ)Ů
omg i would love to see ALL of those designs when you're done!! (no worries, respectfully i won't, like, go hunting through tags for you or anything, but i'd definitely like to give you a follow when you're comfortable with that!)
that's such an eclectic array of friends, for both of them! but the reasoning you mentioned makes sense! (lbr who DOES get along with Orpheus. like name one person in canon who doesn't want to throat punch him). Montague's friend group in particular is basically just the chillest people in the Manor, plus Florian asldfkjdasf
u know what taking time to adjust is the realistic response to someone u know turning into a giant reptile who no longer gives a single fuck about conforming to societal norms. whereas Rosario was almost too quickly like
#like WE all know Rosario is a monsterfucker but Luchino didn't. yet. asldkfjasdf#river babbles#đď¸đźď¸ anon

CHAPTER 03: TASTE OF HOPE
Litha has arrived and with it comes the heat of summer and short nights with swiftly approaching sunlight promises to fight away the darkness. After such gruesome and tragic attacks in the first half of the year, thereâs a silent, but unanimous choice among the people of the wizarding world to rejoice in this light while it lasts.
Over what seems to be the course of a single night, a fair has been assembled in the same fields that would usually hold official quidditch league matches, flyers for the event tucked into copies of the Daily Prophet, the Quibbler, and Witch Weekly alike. Itâs announced on the Wizarding Wireless Network and posters are plastered across boarded up shop windows, usually without people knowing how they got there.
At the funfair, the grass is lush and the air is warm, the music that permeates the grounds overlaid with shrill sounds of pleasure instead of screams of fear. Thereâs a risk in having so many people gather in one place, thereâs always a risk, but everything looks distance from the top of a ferris wheel, even the dangers of war.
The peace wonât last forever, just like the summer will slip away, but that is what fuels people into flocking from their homes to take part in the event. For a week, they will be able to rejoice in knowing that the days are long and the nights are short, but they still know the darkness will return.
This fair/carnival will run for the rest of the month and while youâre free to interact with whomever you please (and encouraged to respond to any open starters you see), you will also be assigned a partner for the end of this chapter.Â
Please find your muse and your partner on the list below and reach out to start plotting! And for any open starters you choose to create that are related to this chapter, please tag them as smokechapter:03.

Guillermo del Toro GĂłmez born October 9, 1964, is a Mexican American film director, screenwriter, producer and novelist. In his filmmaking career, del Toro has alternated between Spanish-language dark fantasy pieces, such as the gothic horror film The Devil's Backbone (2001), and Pan's Labyrinth (2006), and more mainstream American action movies, such as the vampire superhero action film Blade II (2002), the supernatural superhero film Hellboy (2004), its sequel Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008), and the science fiction monster film Pacific Rim (2013). His latest film, The Shape of Water, won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and is scheduled for an American release on December 8, 2017.
In addition to his directing works, del Toro is a prolific producer, his producing works including acclaimed and successful films such as The Orphanage (2007), Julia's Eyes (2010), Biutiful (2010), Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011), Puss in Boots (2011), and Mama (2013). He was originally chosen by Peter Jackson to direct The Hobbit films; he left the project due to production problems but was still credited as co-writer for his numerous contributions to the script.
Del Toro's work is characterised by a strong connection to fairy tales and horror, with an effort to infuse visual or poetic beauty.  He has a lifelong fascination with monsters, which he considers symbols of great power.[3] Del Toro is known for his use of insectile and religious imagery, the themes of Catholicism and celebrating imperfection, underworld and clockwork motifs, practical special effects, dominant amber lighting, and his frequent collaborations with actors Ron Perlman and Doug Jones. He is also friends with fellow Mexican directors Alfonso CuarĂłn and Alejandro GonzĂĄlez Iùårritu, collectively known as "The Three Amigos of Cinemaâ.
When del Toro was about eight years old, he began experimenting with his father's Super 8 camera, making short films with Planet of the Apes toys and other objects. One short focused on a "serial killer potato" with ambitions of world domination; it murdered del Toro's mother and brothers before stepping outside and being crushed by a car. Del Toro made about 10 short films before his first feature, including one titled Matilde, but only the last two, DoĂąa Lupe and Geometria, have been made available. He also wrote four and directed five episodes of the cult series La Hora Marcada, along with other Mexican filmmakers such as Emmanuel Lubezki and Alfonso CuarĂłn.
Del Toro studied special effects and make-up with special-effects artist Dick Smith. He spent 10 years as a special-effects make-up designer and formed his own company, Necropia. He also co-founded the Guadalajara International Film Festival. Later in his directing career, he formed his own production company, the Tequila Gang.
In 1997, at the age of 33, Guillermo was given a $30 million budget from Miramax Films to shoot another film, Mimic. During this time, his father, automotive entrepreneur Federico del Toro, was kidnapped in Guadalajara. Del Toro's family had to pay twice the amount originally asked. The event prompted del Toro, his parents, and his siblings to move abroad. In an interview with Time magazine, he said this about the kidnapping of his father: "Every day, every week, something happens that reminds me that I am an involuntary exile [from my country]
Del Toro has directed a wide variety of films, from comic book adaptations (Blade II, Hellboy) to historical fantasy and horror films, two of which are set in Spain in the context of the Spanish Civil War under the authoritarian rule of Francisco Franco. These two films, The Devil's Backbone and Pan's Labyrinth, are among his most critically acclaimed works. They share similar settings, protagonists and themes with the 1973 Spanish film The Spirit of the Beehive, widely considered to be the finest Spanish film of the 1970s.
Del Toro views the horror genre as inherently political, explaining, "Much like fairy tales, there are two facets of horror. One is pro-institution, which is the most reprehensible type of fairy tale: Don't wander into the woods, and always obey your parents. The other type of fairy tale is completely anarchic and antiestablishment."
He is close friends with two other prominent and critically praised Mexican filmmakers Alfonso Cuarón and Alejandro Gonzålez Iùårritu.[15] The three often influence each other's directorial decisions, and have been interviewed together by Charlie Rose. Cuarón was one of the producers of Pan's Labyrinth, while Iùårritu assisted in editing the film.
Del Toro has also contributed to the web series Trailers From Hell.
In April 2008, del Toro was hired by Peter Jackson to direct the live-action film adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. On May 30, 2010, del Toro left the project due to extend delays brought on by MGM's financial troubles. Although he did not direct the films, he is credited as co-writer in An Unexpected Journey, The Desolation of Smaug and The Battle of the Five Armies.
On June 2, 2009, del Toro's first novel, The Strain, was released. It is the first part of an apocalyptic vampire trilogy co-authored by del Toro and Chuck Hogan. The second volume, The Fall, was released on September 21, 2010. The final installment, The Night Eternal, followed in October 2011. Del Toro cites writings of Antoine Augustin Calmet, Montague Summers and Bernhardt J. Hurwood among his favourites in the non-literary form about vampires.
On December 9, 2010, del Toro launched Mirada Studios with his long-time cinematographer Guillermo Navarro, director Mathew Cullen and executive producer Javier Jimenez. Mirada was formed in Los Angeles, California to be a collaborative space where they and other filmmakers can work with Mirada's artists to create and produce projects that span digital production and content for film, television, advertising, interactive and other media. Mirada launched as a sister company to production company Motion Theory.[19]
Del Toro directed Pacific Rim, a science fiction film based on a screenplay by del Toro and Travis Beacham. In the film, giant monsters rise from the Pacific Ocean and attack major cities, leading humans to retaliate with gigantic mecha suits called Jaegers. Del Toro commented, "This is my most un-modest film, this has everything. The scale is enormous and I'm just a big kid having fun." The film was released on July 12, 2013 and grossed $411 million at the box office.
Del Toro directed "Night Zero", the pilot episode of The Strain, a vampire horror television series based on the novel trilogy of the same name by del Toro and Chuck Hogan. FX has commissioned the pilot episode, which del Toro scripted with Hogan and was filmed in Toronto in September 2013. FX ordered a thirteen-episode first season for the series on November 19, 2013, and series premiered on July 13, 2014.
After The Strain's pilot episode, del Toro directed Crimson Peak, a gothic horror film he co-wrote with Matthew Robbins and Lucinda Cox. Del Toro has described the film as "a very set-oriented, classical but at the same time modern take on the ghost story", citing The Omen, The Exorcist and The Shining as influences. Del Toro also stated, "I think people are getting used to horror subjects done as found footage or B-value budgets. I wanted this to feel like a throwback." Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, and Charlie Hunnam starred in the film. Production began February 2014 in Toronto, with an April 2015 release date initially planned. The studio later pushed the date back to October 2015, to coincide with the Halloween season.[
He was selected to be on the jury for the main competition section of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
Del Toro directed the cold-war drama film The Shape of Water, starring Sally Hawkins, Octavia Spencer, and Michael Shannon.[29] Filming was set to begin on August 1, 2016 in Toronto,[30][31] but del Toro confirmed on his personal Twitter account that filming would begin on August 15, 2016.[32] Production was officially announced to have begun on that day and wrapped twelve weeks later, the film is currently in post-production.[33] On August 31, 2017 the movie was screened and premiered in the main competition section of the 74th Venice International Film Festival where it was awarded the Golden Lion for best film, making Del Toro the first mexican director to win the award[34][35].
On July 21, 2016, it was reported that del Toro will retire from producing for projects that he isn't creating or directing himself.
At the D23 Expo in 2009, his Double Dare You production company and Disney announced a production deal for a line of darker animated films. The label was announced with one original animated project, Trollhunters. However, del Toro moved his deal to DreamWorks in late 2010. Trollhunters was released to great acclaim on Netflix and "is tracking to be its most-watched kids original ever

2019 Ahead // Itâs Twentybiteen, You Ready?
Iâm back! Again!
Your fave chaotic disaster queer took time off once again to get her shit together! Did I???? Kinda???
Iâm glad I took the time off, I needed that time and space to sort out and find balance in my life and did I???? Kinda???
So now Iâm back! There are going to be a few changes! But Iâll go through that a little later in this post.
2018 was fucking hard man. It was maybe the worst year of my life so far which is not an easy feat, let me tell you!
Iâm glad itâs over, Iâm thankful for the lessons it gave me but more than anything Iâm grateful for the foundation in providing for the next chapter of my life.
2019 so far has been just getting through the delayed effects of the last part of 2018 honestly. But Iâm hopeful itâll only get better from here.
       TBR
So what are the books I plan to read this year?? Honestly too many but here are the books I definitely want to get to in 2019.
I was going to talk about my anticipated releases BUT literally, everyone has done that so itâs not like Iâd be sharing new information with anyone. No shade! Yâall those lists are amazing and I love them because I am always behind on what is coming out. Those posts just arenât for me personally to write. But mostly itâs because this year I am focusing on books I actually own and neglected all of last year while I was busy having a love affair with my library.
âThe Raven CycleâMaggie Stiefvaterâ
â
â
â
I read the first book in 2017 and then my mum bought me the whole series for my birthday in 2018 and do you think Iâve read them yet??? Of course not! So I want to this year for sure!
âShadow and Bone SeriesâLeigh Bardugoâ
â
I loved the Six of Crows duology and now that the Grishaverse is getting a Netflix series I have to read the first series! Undoubtedly I will probably reread the Six of Crows duology after.
âThe Conquerorâs SagaâKiersten Whiteâ
â
â
â
I loved the first book in this series and Iâve bought the other two books as soon as they came out but did I read them??? No.
âMontague SiblingsâMackenzi Leeâ
â
â
â
I really enjoyed the first book in this series even though I was in a major reading slump and it heavily dampened my experience but I still enjoyed it so Iâm looking to rereading it and then following it with the last book!
âVillainsâVE Schwabâ
â
â
â
I loved the first book and I canât wait for the second one to come out. I ordered it in December but I entered my address wrong so I ended up going to my neighbourâs house to ask if they had it and they did!!!! Thank god for that!
I think Iâll wait to read them until I can get the paperbacks though since I like to annotate but not in my special editions.
âThe Dark ArtificesâCassandra Clareâ
â
â
â
I loved the first book so much and I meant to read Lord of Shadows asap but then didnât??? Now Iâm just waiting for the last book to come out in the small paperback so I can read the series start to finish.
âHarry Potter SeriesâJK Rowlingâ
â
â
â Iâm not putting LGBT rep because itâs not actually in the book and JKâs intentions donât seem genuine to me.
The first time I read this series was 2011. And I didnât finish it. So Iâm gonna try again and watch the movies as I go to compare as well! And every time JK does some dumbass shit I am thankful I bought my copies secondhand.
âSharp ObjectsâGillian Flynnâ
â
â
I fucking loved the TV series, it was so intense! Iâm looking forward to reading the book!
âSadieâCourtney Summersâ
â
â
Iâve heard such good things and I need to read it but thereâs a huge wait at the library and they do not have enough copies across the state library network so I might just end up buying it??
âSawkill GirlsâClaire Legrandâ
â
â
Iâm planning on reading this one this month if I can get a hold of it from the library!
âThe Hate U GiveâAngie Thomasâ
â
â
I neeeeeed to read this one pronto!!!!
âRejected PrincessesâJason Porathâ
â
â
â
âBygone badass BroadsâMackenzi Leeâ
â
â
â
So I decided on my new Structured TBR each month (More info in my Month Ahead post!) Iâm going to read a certain amount of entries in these each month over the year.
âSimon Vs. the Homo Sapiens AgendaâCreekwood SeriesâBecky Albertelliâ
â
â
I need to read the book for my fave romcom guys, I just have to.
âChildren of Blood & BoneâLegacy of OrĂŻsha #1âTomi Adeyemiâ
â
â
I literally bought this the day it came out and so, of course, I havenât read it yet.
âCity of GhostsâCassidy Blake #1âVictoria Schwabâ
â
â
I have to read it, itâs a Schwab book. But I am pumped for it!!!
âPercy Jackson and the OlympiansâRick Riordanâ
â
â
A childhood classic I never fucking read as a child. Also, I now own almost all or Riordanâs books because they were super cheap secondhand and so I have to read them.
Past Grey Reads
Book Review // Girl Made of Stars â I Am Broken
Book Review // Everything Leads To You â A Quite Love Story

When I first saw the trailer I legit thought it was a very cleverly put together fan trailer and died when I realised it was real.

Guy Ritchieâ
Will Smith, Billy Magnussen, Naomi Scottâ
I am so excited, itâs gonna be so magical!
âRocketmanâ

F. Gary Grayâ
Rebecca Ferguson, Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompsonâ
This movie is for the bisexuals.
âSpider-Man: Far From Homeâ
âJul 4â
Jon Wattsâ
Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal, Cobie Smuldersâ
Okay blogging secret, when it comes to the directors, creators and stars of this segment I always just copy and paste from IMDB because Iâm lazy and can we just appreciate the fact that Tom Hollandâthe literal star of the movie, the person who plays the main characterâisnât even listed at the top as part of the top stars.
Also, Iâm very excited to watch this. Tom and Zendaya are my children and they must be protected at all costs.

Susan Johnsonâ
 Lana Condor, Noah Centineoâ
YES YES YES YES YES.
âBrooklyn Nine-NineâSeason 6â
âJan 10â
Daniel J. Goor, Michael Schurâ
Andre Braugher, Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatrizâ
Iâm so glad NBC saved this!!!!
âOne Day At A TimeâSeason 3â
âFeb 8â

Justina Machado, Todd Grinnell, Isabella Gomezâ
This is probably mine and mumâs fave sitcom that makes us piss ourselves laughing but also makes us sob.
âGame of ThronesâSeason 8â
âApr 14â
David Benioff, D.B. Weissâ
Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Kit Haringtonâ
I wonât make it to the end of 2019, not because of depression

âStranger ThingsâSeason 3â
âJul 4â
Matt Duffer, Ross Dufferâ
Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryderâ
I just want the gang together and happy.
âMindhunterâSeason 2â
â
Joe Penhallâ
Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torvâ
I gotta watch it and live text my thoughts to my aunt who is hugely into true crime (so much so that she is studying criminology). Because Iâm hilarious and also I know sheâll appreciate it and also I no longer have a best friend to do this shit with.
âBig little LiesâSeason 2â
â
David E. Kelleyâ
Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodleyâ
Big Little Lies rocked my world and made me realise I actually like thrillers.
âRuPaulâs Drag Race UKâSeason 1â
â
Iâm just excited to see what a season would look like that isnât hosted and judged by RuPaul.
Past Grey Watches
Grey Watches // I Wanna Bone Jude Law and Kate Winslet â The Holiday
Grey Watches // It Has To Be A Shit Show â A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding
Grey Watches // I Hate It So Much I Love It â A Christmas Prince
Yes I know I said I wouldnât change the appearance of my blog while I was gone but we all know Iâm a dirty liar.
Besides, itâs only some small tweaks here and there and I wonât be going back through my past posts to edit everything to match. A year of posts is too many. I promised myself and my mum I wouldnât do it again.
This year Iâm going to be posting less! Like half the amount I did last year.
Last year I eventually got to a schedule of four posts a week and this year I will be doing two.
Iâm doing this for a couple of reasons.
I exercise and eat healthy now and it turns out those two things take up so much time.
I wanna start actually dedicating time to working on my new WIP and maybe have a draft by the end of the year????
Iâm planning on doing more Grey Watches post this year, and my book review posts will now be called Grey Reads and I might try and do more discussion posts called Grey Speaks and maybe WIP writing updates in Grey Writes??? Itâs all about that branding.
But who knows what Iâll do, honestly I donât even know myself! Iâm terrible with follow through but weâll see!
My Ancient Archive posts will be moved to once every two months as well because those posts take ages and as much as I love them I just donât have that kind of time. And theyâll also get a renameâGrey Learns
I was also going to start requesting physical ARCs from publishers but ahhhh turns out I donât actually enjoy writing reviews??? And thereâs always the risk that Iâm not gonna like it and Iâll feel obligated to finish it and I donât have time for that either so Iâm not doing that, Iâll be requesting far, far less from Netgalley.
Iâll be posting book reviews roughly once or twice a month, instead of once a week. Iâll still be writing reviews for all the books I read but theyâll be a lot shorter and Iâll mostly just post them on my Goodreads.
If you notice I am reading a book you wanna see a review of over on here, let me know and Iâll be sure to post it!
Past Month In Review
Month in Review // Christmas is Over Thank Fuck â December
Month in Review // November â I Already Hate Christmas
Month in Review // July, August, September & October â New Post Series!
Goals
Get to a point where I walk 10000 steps a day.
On the reg, like every day for the most part. At the moment I just have my step goal as 8000 a day because small steps literally.
But I hit my first 10000 steps on the 16th of last month so that was very exciting for me especially since it was on the day I donât go for a walk and proved why that is my day off because itâs my shopping day so Iâm clearly walking plenty, to begin with!
Find a way to be more financially stable somehow.
Whether that be by a full-time job or maybe work out a way to get paid for doing what I love??
I donât know. Iâm trying to be more open to different paths to get to a place I want to be.
Also, it seems like I may be forced into this sooner rather than later thanks to things out of my control so thatâs exciting but also terrifying because ANXIETY.
Finish a draft for my WIP.
Have I started writing it yet? Absolutely not but Iâm gonna try!
And Iâm very excited about the concept. Think queer banshees and witches and strong women and girls supporting each other. Thatâs the plan.
 Read 50 books.
I read 100 last year and 130 the year before that but with focusing on writing and my health I feel that trying to keep reading that many books is just going to stress me out so Iâm not doing it!
Also, Iâm already struggling to get through a book a week right now and I need to if I have any hope of just reading 50.
 Legally change my name FINALLY!
And guess what guys that one is very close to being complete!
Iâve submitted to the paperwork and now itâs just the waiting for it to get approved and then I can pick up my new birth certificate!
Iâve been waiting for this moment for years so Iâm very excited!
 Continue going to therapy.
Iâm in a much better mental space than I was last year but I still need therapy. Especially since last year was basically just me venting about how fucked up my family is and this year is about me so I want to use my therapy to focus on my shit, get official diagnoses and maybe testing out medication???
Also find a better way to deal with my paranoia because guys, itâs been especially rough lately.
 Take regular mental health days
This is much needed!!!!!
And by mental health days I mean spend one whole day doing nothing but maybe watching Netflix and reading and crying if I need to.
My mum and I donât really stop and so we get hit with emotions at really inconvenient times so Iâm hoping that if we schedule a day where we can allow ourselves to be emotional then it might help?
I want to aim for once a month but weâll see.
 Play more video games.
Because theyâre fun and I like them and I keep telling myself I donât have time because itâs not important but fuck important, sometimes you just gotta do shit because itâs fun and pointless.
Past Month Ahead
Month Ahead // Happy Birthday To Me + Hiatus Announcement â January
Month Ahead // December â I Already Hate It
Month Ahead // November â New Post Series
2019 is all about growth and glow ups guys, I can feel it.
What are you doing this year? What are you reading? What are your goals?

Pop Politics Headlines: Shonda Rhimes, Wonder Woman, Cannes, #Covfefe
Shondaland Denizens Fill Twitter With 'Still Star-Crossed' Praise (Colorlines)"
Produced by Rhimes' Shondaland production company and created by Heather Mitchell ("Scandal"), "Still Star-Crossed" adapts author Melinda Taub's book of the same name as an hour-long dramatic series. The show depicts the imagined aftermath of William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," in which the titular characters, who are madly in love despite their their wealthy families' long-standing blood feud, consecrate their commitment by committing mutual suicide. Their families, the Montagues and the Capulets, are still at war as their home city-state of Verona deals with a new monarch and navigates the conflict's devastating fallout. "Still Star-Crossed" depicts old Verona as a diverse metropolis whose mercantile aristocracy includes Black noblesâa feature rarely seen in other on-screen Shakespearian period projects.Â
Alamo Drafthouse Apologizes for Starting Manpocalypse With Women-Only Screening [parody] (Medium)
"We at the Alamo Drafthouse would like to officially apologize for our role in the end of mankind as we knew it, and the ascendant Gynocracy that followed. We didnât know our women-only screening of Wonder Woman would result in the overthrow of all world governments and the total subjugation of men, but in hindsight we probably should have seen it coming. âWhy canât women have one night to enjoy a character thatâs meant so much to them over the years?â asked the Shadowy Figure. The woman came into our offices in a cloak as black as the grave, followed by three wild-looking dogs. Her voice had no age, or every age, it was hard to tell. Sometimes it sounded like more than one woman was talking. The Shadowy Figure made good points about Representation Mattering and Safe Spaces as she idly flicked raw flesh to her dogs. Around her swirled plumes of sickly sweet incense from a source unknown, but this is Austin, so we figured she was just keeping it weird. How naive we were."
A rogue Twitter claiming to represent RC Cola has been suspended after a 'covfefe' joke (Business Insider)
"A rogue Twitter account claiming to represent a cult-favorite soda brand has been suspended after a mysterious two-month run packed with sassy â and often viral â tweets. On Wednesday, an account called Official RC Cola tweeted a soda-centric burn in response to a typo President Trump recently made on Twitter. "We have no plans to release any covfefe flavored cola. If you want the taste of incompetence there are other sodas more readily available," the tweet read.  The Twitter account is dedicated to promoting RC Cola, a cult-favorite soda brand that has been around since 1905. While Official RC Cola only joined Twitter in early April, it has quickly gained more than 10,000 followers with its cheeky tweets. "
Will the Movie Business Ever Trust Women to Tell Their Own Stories? (Elle)
"Meanwhile, in a speech that has since gone viral (and earned enthusiastic co-signs from Ava DuVernay and Mindy Kaling) Cannes jury member Jessica Chastain spoke of being "disturbed" by the vision of womanhood she saw in the films she judged. "The one thing I really took away from this experience is how the world views women, from the female characters that I saw represented," Chastain said, adding: "I do hope that when we include more female storytellers, we will have more of the women that I recognize in my day-to-day life. Ones that are proactive, have their own agencies, don't just react to the men around them."Chastain is too polite to name the specific movies and characters she'd noticedâand disliked. But the industry's tendency to write women as hot girlfriends, nagging wives, saintly mothers, or, too often, screaming murder victims isn't new. Producer Ross Putman archives actual descriptions of women in screenplays at @femscriptintros. Scanning it, one learns that movie roles are a lot like discount Halloween costumes; a woman can play a Sexy Road Warrior, Sexy Intern, or Sexy Pilot, but not much that doesn't have a "Sexy" descriptor attached."

MY OCS TIERLISTS ON THE OTHER IDV CHARACTERS!!!!
I'll probably add this to my individual OCS posts when I make them on @idv-haunted-grounds --
Long post so it's all under the cut :)) mostly diving into the people they don't like.. Lol
MONTAGUE CHASTAIN: THE CURATOR
He's pretty open to most people! However, some he just can't get past the unsettling feeling they give him, some he can tell are untruthful in general, and some plain disturb him (luchino's hunter form). Also, some people just really don't like him because of his tone/attitude. He got a whole extra tier for his hatersđ
DAMIR JELEN: THE STORYTELLER
He is locked in đ¤ with his Hullabaloo friends ofc. He's mostly indifferent towards a lot of people considering he doesn't care for others opinions of himself. He could not give two shits if someone thinks badly of him, he'll just keep his distance if they keep theirs. He also just doesn't know enough people well enough to have certain opinions either way. (Sorry for the formatting change--everything goes back to normal after him)
SAINT SALLOW: THE ARCHITECT
Saint is on decent terms with most of the manor! He's easygoing (most of the time) and shows respect even when it's not given in return. However, he has an extremely bad relationship with Norton đ he brings out the absolute worst, annoyed side in Saint, and they constantly quarrel if made to be in the same room together. Saint is honestly a bit scared of him. Ada also unsettles him from her relationship with Emil.
CECIL DOMENECH: THE SEAMSTER
Bro is the #2 hater in this post. He likes to keep his circle a little close-knit, but will get along with people so long as they show him respect. He has an attitude from his life before the manor that he can't let go, and it makes tensions a little high. He especially can't let a grudge go -- maybe if someone close to him 'fucks up' in his head, he can forgive it. But with someone he's not close to it just alienates him from them. He also tends to stay away from people he finds 'weird', like Murro or Emil. He's from a high-class family so he holds some opinionated beliefs whether he thinks he does or not.
HEATH DEMKIS: THE FIREWATCH
He's the #1 hater out of all my characters. He legitimately cannot stand most of the manor, or at most tolerates them. Hes a bit reclusive and close-minded, having only lived with his mom and then on his own from a very young age. His close friends were the people who offered him comfort when he first came to the manor, Emily and Ada specifically. He is unsettled by survivors & hunters that deal with gods, demons, or 'gifts' (such as Eli), and mostly just scared of the supernatural. He tolerates a few hunters either because they're extremely friendly/almost 'kidlike' in his mind (Robbie, gala even though she's not a child), or he can place enough trust in them to be neutral towards him (Michiko, Alva).
NIGEL CAHALL: THE CHIMNEY SWEEP
Nigel likes most people in the manor, but is a bit nervous around women as he doesn't want to come off as brash or rude to them. He has an attitude, although not as much as Cecil, but he is very loud and persistent. He cracks shitty jokes and won't shut up. So, if he sees a LOT of uncomfortable reactions from someone he'll just distance himself. He's not really open to changing so that's his way of remedying the relationship. He cannot stand people who don't work for what they want/a better life, or at least people he *thinks* are like that because he hasn't gotten to know them. Which is why he's one of my few characters who's actually friends with Norton. He is also just unsettled by some people (Aesop, Matthias, Emil).
LAVINIA AGNELLI: THE KEYHOLDER
He is scared of most people, even his close friends, simply from his absolutely terrible experiences from his past & then his seclusion in the manor. It is not specifically about survivors vs hunters, just in general he's quite timid. He does not like to interact with the residents and will try his best to be unseen. His close friends are quiet. If someone has an issue with him, he gladly stays away. Some people just creep him out, like Weepy. Some people are too much/too intense for him, like Mike, Lily, and Ada. (Surprisingly, he does like hullabaloo more than regular Mike).
DAMILO BATHORY: THE BUTCHER
He doesn't see a reason to dislike most people unless they give him a reason. He's generally pretty welcoming, but very open about his... Bloody habits. If I made an extra tier for him of all the people who didn't like him, it would probably be half the cast, so I didn't. Alice is only a friend from his POV, while shes literally investigating him for his murders. Lol. Also who likes Kreacher? Because he doesnt
