I do think “From Eden” and “It Will Come Back” are sister songs. They both specifically invoke the doorway and place the singer on the outside. They both cast the singer as animalistic, not as an animal but as some other monster that has animalistic traits. “From Eden” is obviously dealing with Christianity in a way that “It Will Come Back” is not, but “It Will Come Back” does use the language of “a soul.” Also, there’s a theme of recurrence in both - the coming back vs “you’re familiar, like my mirror years ago.”
