I don't usually see disability in BL and I always appreciate when I find a gem like this. Soohwa is absolute lunatic and so whipped foe Yohan, I adore their relationship. So fluffy and hot at the same time but also had me on the edge of my seat on a couple occasions! Always recommand!

Not much to say about these oneshots: very basic plot and a lot of smut. Don't think about it too much, it was actually kinda hilarious. Its not everyone's cup of tea, but if you like smth that's basically a p*rn, knock yourself out with these ones!

This one is very cute, short and simple: a huge BL game otaku sees a guy at his university that looks just like his favorite character in the game and the story goes from there! Will definitely be a sweet and fun read, trust me!

Two beach volleyball players are forced to play in pairs for the upcoming tournament despite their personalities being jarringly different and them not liking each other in the slightest. Rather intriguing story with a bit of angst and lots of emotions. Loved it!

I’m So Pissed

So I was talking with a friend of mine who mentioned that it’s mentioned that Kido has a komyushoo, which is roughly “communication disorder.” And, according to @transneku​:

Long story short saying that Kido has an anxiety disorder. This isn’t what I’m really pissed off about, though. See, what I’m pissed off about is how every translation of Mekakushi Code, which is where this is mentioned, doesn’t include this at all. 

自称ウブな君だって Jishou UBU na kimi datte 合言葉ハサんで即加入。 Ai kotoba HASAnde soku kanyu. そりゃあそうさ僕なんて Soryaa sou sa boku nante ニジオタコミュショーヒキニート。 NIJIOTA KOMYUSHOO HIKINIITO だが問題ないぜ? Daga mondainai ze?

This part right here? It’s usually translated like this: 

Even the self-proclaimed naive you Can join with the password. By the way, even me And I'm a 2D otaku, hikikomori, NEET. But that's not a problem, right?

I think you can all see the issue that I have here. 

Obviously Nijiota is “2-D Otaku”, and then Hikiniito is HikiNEET. And the most popular fucking translations just skip right the fuck over the most important one. 

So basically? Kido canonically has anxiety, or possibly some other communication disorder. (Autistic Kido, anyone?) And that makes me really happy since that’s 4 whole characters that are either explicitly stated, or heavily implied without too much digging into things: Kido, Shintaro, Momo, and Mary. 

So while I have some issues with certain tropes, mostly the “”slapstick”” humor of Kido hitting her brother, it seems kind of obvious that Jin’s trying to make it clear that our cast of characters is mentally ill as fuck. And yet whoever translated mekakushi code the first time didn’t even try to include that part. I get that the song has lots of weird slang, but that part is so obvious.
