Happy #selfcaresunday & Here’s to Owning the Night! 🌜 Besides having my regular skincare routine; I love to use a good clay mask as well! So for my Self-Care Sunday night routine, I will share what I used. (Since I hadn’t used a clay mask for awhile, I bought this Natural Beautifying Dry Mask by @okologic (Joanna Stimmel ) on @etsy 🌺 Step 1️⃣ Cleansed (double) with my @monatofficial Be Gentle Creamy Cleanser. Step 2️⃣ I then took my new Beautifying Dry Clay Mask and added a bit of water & honey 🍯 to it & mixed to a somewhat paste consistency. I applied as you can see in the photos, to my face and neck. I left it on about 20 minutes, until dry, and rinsed off well. This Rose colored Beautifying Dry Mask is from mineral-rich clays. I noticed the slight tightness that clay masks bring, but not as tight as others I’ve used (where your face feels like it’s cracking). 😆 Here’s some of what’s in it: Kaolin Clay, Rhassoul Clay, Organic Rose 🥀 Powder, Organic Aloe Vera Powder, Organic Hibiscus 🌺 Powder, and Organic Geranium Essential Oil. Step 3️⃣ A few splashes of my MONAT Skin Revitalizing Essence until absorbed. Step 4️⃣ 1-2 pumps of my MONAT Rewind Age Control Nectar. Contains Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, and Kakadu Plum. Here’s what’s unique about that Kakadu Plum: The “Gallic & Ellagic acids are naturally found in this plum, which can help repair damaged skin. This is also important to reduce the collagen breakdown. Did you know that since the Kakadu Plum has more ellagic acid than berries, it reduces your skin’s inflammatory responses to UV light? Then you’ve got the Vitamin C, how about 50 times more than your orange! Step 5️⃣ MONAT Eye Smooth Nourishing Eye Cream. (A little Dab will do ya)! Step 6️⃣ MONAT Night Haven Overnight Age Control Cream.
