getting ready to read babel but i seen that the first part or “book 1” is 223 pages. i don’t mind but its four parts and the book is almost 600 pages hmm

got back to Babel and it did indeed pick up more. I finished the first part and read up to page 104. In one of the earlier chapters, the professor literally beat the main character and i was so stunned because it was literally out of nowhere and he did it so bad… but anyways now he is like 18(?) and found out he has a half brother but besides the point… Black girl was introduced queenie already.

babel is on hold. moving on to 1Q84 by haruki murakami

edit: the book being over 1k pages hm.

finished the book and thinking how i need to get back to my million novels and how i need another series to read before i reread legendborn cycle because that was INSANEEE

it is actually 90 pages lolll. read the first chapter and it is dragging on…. i seen people say how good it is so i wanted to see but it was so boring. i heard the plot is very slow and … im trying to read until the second part but right now its looking like a dnf 😭

first chapter was 18 pages

second chapter is 27.

yeahhhh, if i didn’t purchase this book last year, i would return it at the moment because nothing is happening rn. i barely want to start the next chapter.

i love the writing and this is the first book i read by her but i need more stuff to happen. i love the world she’s building and i love the act of translation and all of that but … i need some action or something

didn’t realize i was reading for so long. read 20 something chapters…. then realized that the next book not coming until winter 2025…

okay so the last five were thrifted for the nancy drew… and i had a big hardback book of like 3 of her stories but cannot find it. / anddd my vampire academy books, i brought the first two when the movie first came out and then was in a thrift store and found the other two (ik it’s a copy of the second book but i did not realize until i came home that i had it)
