RHYS YOU TREASURE YOU TY <3 lila and mona and kieran my BABIES
🎸 ★ INFAMOUS MC ASKS.
Tumblr media
🎸 ★ PERSONA: how does their day-to-day personality compare to their on-stage persona?
shes as prone to reckless behavior as any rockstar, but she spends a lot of time in her own head! muses of the past and the next and that can be the reason for the former? to escape the latter? this can especially be when shes on her own, its been a thing, a way to pass the time (she cites because of boredom but ! shes a liar!), thinking of herself and things she can do for herself is easier than facing your psyche <3. and that translates a bit to her on stage persona as well ! though shes a bit more melancholic, she plays a lot into the "in her own head" melanchilia on stage for two headed mother!
Tumblr media
🎸 ★ HERO: what is their favourite thing about G? why is your MC such a big fan?
i think for her what was so alluring of g as an artist for mona that sold for her that he was an artist she admired was that he sought to give artists the platform to introduce their music to an audience, to be shown love and appreciation for their music the way that fans and those around g did for him. the BOTB being a way to showcase new talent and give them a platform for that is really what made mona admire g as an artist 🤍
Tumblr media
🎸 ★ VOICE: what does their singing voice sound like? do you have voiceclaims(s) for them?
MY FAVORITE QUESTION i get to yell about the babies influences and sound AHH. i really love the voices of blood orange, steve lacy, paris texas, enumclaw (a pnw band!!!!), kevin abstract, brent faiyaz, tamino and omar apollo for kierans sound! as for his voice claim, i really love alfred enoch for a voice claim! kieran was born in england and lived there until he was about 15 when he moved to the us in the summer before he started high school, where he would meet his future bandmates in lost in london!

it’s like every species coy and civ have created or joined always have complications. Even the new species they have going on is getting called out
not shocking that most of the staff were previous terralien staff. Where ever those two go, drama follows
what happened to “leaving” closed species. Semi closed is still a closed species in a way
https://imgur.com/a/zanoids-bs-TqSxvmv
post related
ah finally someone brings this to my inbox
imgur link from anon
there are more screens than what was given in anon's link, so i made my own gallery with all the juicy context, link here
(for context, zanoids are civ's new species product despite them "leaving all cs bc of toxicity." idk it seems like in these screens you and coy are the toxic ones but what do i know)
so what you see in the link above are screenshots from the zanoid server where coy (the one with the bubbles as a username and a fucking rick sanchez pfp) shits on someone for posting an open ad offering $6 for art. not going to someone with comms open and saying "hey heres 6 bucks give me the mona lisa," just posting an ad saying "offering $6 for art" or whatever. to top it off the ad was days old at this point
jesse then decides to leap in as coy's knight in shining armor because of fucking course, then rhys, who has become civ and coy's new pet as well.
then civ (aka Gin now because they always run away from their controversy by rebranding) jumps in and you have to wonder was any of this really fucking necessary, sorry some people dont have the want or means to drop $700 on a comm, thats rent money. even the person posting the offer said they werent expecting insane quality, just that they only have $6 to give.
on another note, not everyone lives in america or canada you self centered pricks, maybe consider that in other countries $6 is a lot. consider that maybe people arent as privileged as you to live in a country with such a high value to the currency, and with such privilege to even be able to make money off of art at all.
TL,DR: civ and coy continue to be incredibly bitchy for no reason while their pet whiteknights dote on them. same shit different day

The Tinker - Inspector Spacetime
The Tinker, also known as the Transcendental Tinker, was a powerful and mysterious entity who, according to the First Inspector, was the "embodiment of the spirit of invention" (he was later confirmed to be one of the Immortals). He was portrayed by English actor Donald Pleasence in Season 3 and New Zealand actor Rhys Darby in the 2022 special “Scriggle”.
Tumblr media
When the Tinker steals some highly restricted Infinity Knight devices from Kayaclasch's Black Museum, the Inspector and his associates raid his realm—called "the Transcendental Testing-chamber"—to recover them.
In the final scene, as the heroes leave with the recovered Kayaclaschian equipment, the Tinker swears he will have his revenge the next time they meet (although he would in fact never appear again in the classic series).
The Tinker would return, in a younger incarnation, to menace the Inspector, returning associate Mona Virtue, and EXOPOL London Branch leader Kurt Leith.

What Could Have Been Phase 2
This is where my writing shifted from quick little blog-post type things to an actual narrative. Written in first-person, nearly everything is from Callie's point of view, though in the last draft from this phase I incorporated scenes from both Sterling's and Shane's perspectives as well, though in third-person.
In previous games, I almost always romanced Shane, and I had every intention of doing so again. To that effect, I'd gone on a mod spree looking to flesh out/add to his plotline and discovered Immersive Shane, the Ranch Expansion pack, and Mr. Ginger, none of which I'd ever played with before. This also led to me downloading East Scarp, and that, in turn led to Always Raining in the Valley because Sterling's plotline was billed as intertwined with Shane's prior to Shane's 6-heart event.
I bring this up because, as I mention in the Phase 1 post, I paused at the end of each in-game day to write down a recounting from Callie's point of view. This also meant that I, the player, was discovering all of the new content at the same time as Callie. No foreshadowing here, folks, just good ol' "what the hell?!"
Things to make note of in this version as opposed to what appears in Choices:
Callie starts off dirt-poor in the canon one-room shack. The only non-canon luxury I gave her in my writing was a small water closet.
This means that if she wanted to eat hot food outside of instant noodles or oatmeal, she had to hit up the saloon. I also reflected this in my gameplay, requiring her to buy something from the saloon every day.
Reece was Rhys, and depending on the draft was either Callie's fiance or brother
Paul, her abusive ex-husband, was already a part of her backstory
This particular Callie suffers from more regular/intense flashbacks and panic attacks
Sterling and Shane have a different feel from their later iterations, as I, the player/author, did not know their backgrounds ahead of time
In Shane's case, this means I was unaware of how lemurkat had added in Mona being his sister and their relationships with Tristan
With Sterling, I knew nothing going in. In fact, my first mention of him in Phase 1 concerned how much he whined about missing Zuzu. If only I knew....
Marnie detests Sterling because of how he enables Shane
Mia, Henry, Gus, and especially Emily have more prominent roles in this phase
Jean and Jorts exist

Mis 42 discos favoritos del 2018 (So far)
42. Yo La Tengo - There’s A Riot Going On: Este album es completamente inofensivo, no justifica su duración y el sonido es demasiado homogéneo para mi gusto.
41. Kids See Ghosts - Kids See Ghosts: La colaboración entre Kanye West y Kid Kudi no funciona para mí, las canciones se sientes incompletas.
39. Jenny Hval - The Long Sleep: Este en realidad es un EP... tiene un sonido accesible y fácil de escuchar, algunos momentos pierde mi atención.
26. Ought - Room Inside The World: Similar a Preoccupations pero con una ejecución más formidable, estas bandas de post-punk necesitan refrescar su sonido de alguna manera porque empiezan a sonar cansadas...
22. The Body and Uniform - Mental Wounds Not Healing: Esperaba un poco más de este lanzamiento, definitivamente hay química entre estas dos bandas, se complementan bien pero me gustaría que se exigieran más el uno del otro.
16. Mournful Congregation - The Incubus Of Karma: Apostaría que este será el disco de funeral doom del año, melodías hermosas, riff aplastante y una atmósfera obscura envuelven a este gran trabajo.
14. A.A.L. (Against All Logic) - 2012 - 2017: Nicolas Jaar nos sorprende con este magnífico proyecto en lo que probablemente será el mejor disco de música electrónica del año, la producción, los ritmos, todo está en su punto perfecto en este album, es absorbente y delicioso, es uno de esos discos que lo puedes tener como música de fondo o ponerle atención y de ambas formas lo disfrutarás mucho, no puedes dejar de escucharlo.
8. Death Grips - Year Of The Snitch: He escuchado varios discos de Death Grips y a pesar de que me han gustado nunca había entendido porque la gente se vuelve locos por ellos, eso esperaba sentir con este nuevo album pero estaba equivocado, me sorprende lo mucho que me gustó en esta ocasión y no puedo explicar exactamente porque, la instrumentación y la producción realmente conectaron conmigo, bravo!

Clementine: So, this is where Mama keeps everything...
Catalina: You should see the other vaults. In one, there’s the Mona Louisa! She doesn’t like to talk about it, but—
Mary: You know what I say about boasting, Lina.
Catalina: Sorry...
Hendricks: Welcome, ma’am. The pieces were just delivered.
Mary: Excellent. Please lead the way, Mr. Hendricks.
Mary: To celebrate your coming of age, I got you both a tiara of your own. After the two of you get married, you’ll be granted Princess titles and be styles as Her Royal Highness.
Mary: The King has also offered you both the position of working royals in the future. He doesn’t need an answer now, but asks that you at least consider it. The same goes for Rhys when he’s older.
Clementine: I look stupid, don’t I?
Catalina: Not at all. You look like a princess.
Clementine: R-Really? You think so?

Thanks for the massive 🍑, Vi! <3
Jack and Rhys form a fragile alliance for the sake of Ianto and Gwen.
“Shall we go down to the sea? A picnic?”
Gwen looked up at him, startled. Her hands were stopped, paused mid-toast buttering in a way that his mam would’ve called portrait-like if she liked Gwen more; since Rhys liked Gwen a rather lot, he could easily assert that Gwen had the poise and beauty of those women that people raved about in museums. He never got what all the fuss was about with the Mona Lisa, but Gwen? In the morning light, her sea-gaze arresting him? Her expression open, but hiding all the knowledge and sorrow that he knew lay in her past? He understood.

Officially it is alterations and additions to a 1970’s house, as 30% of the original house had to be retained to allow the house to retain it’s floor area, height and location on the site, all of which exceeded new planning controls for the area.
8 Feb 2021 Dodds House Design: Ian Moore Architects photograph © Daniel Mayne Dodds House This restoration of a one-bedroom house designed by Ian Moore in 1998 and completed in 2001, which had been unsympathetically altered by a previous owner.

23 June 2020 Hart House, Great Mackerel Beach, New South Wales Design: Casey Brown Architecture photo : Rhys Holland House on Great Mackerel Beach, NSW This new property is located on the idyllic shoreline of Great Mackerel Beach, and was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of the quintessential one-room Australian beach shack. The form was derived from a wrapped ‘box’ open to one side.
17 June 2020 Blackwood Residence, Clovelly, eastern Sydney Architects: McGregor Westlake Architecture photo : Brett Boardman Blackwood Residence in Clovelly This NSW residence is a recently finished alteration and addition to a house in Boundary Street, Clovelly.
