Gorgeous International Women's Day banner made by the Women's Art Group at the Galafield Centre in Newbiggin Hall. Unveiled this morning. Fantastic creative work by the group, full of symbolism. These sessions have been great fun, where time passes too quickly! This year's theme for #internationalwomensday : ' Gender equality today for a sustainable future.' Whilst planning, designing and making the banner, the group have been learning new skills and techniques.
