It's been said pretty much for years now that they planned a series for Netflix, and the leaks confirmed it. Eight episodes were planned for a release this year. It's live-action. This isn't Concierge.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Misc. HZ leaks. (Info potentially subject to change)
Liko and Roy are 13 and 12 respectively. Still canon to me.
Dot initially wasn't planned. Quaxly would have gone to Liko or Roy.
Friede is 20s-ish while Orla is 18. (Finalized versions seem to be older, just given the previous flashback in Ep18 has a 4-6yr old Liko, and Orla already appeared to be an adult there)
Friede betrays the RVT and joins the Explorers, something about a missing brother? (Which has never been alluded to, so doubt.)
Original six Heroes were supposed to be Blastoise, Pachirisu, Rayquaza, Entei, Moltres, and Zeraora.
2yr timeskip after acquiring all 6 Heroes
Two Terapagos, the one from Laqua and the Area Zero one (The latter is deceased.)
Three year storyline intended, so perhaps ending in 2025? That said, Terastal Training arc wasn't originally intended so might go on for longer. According to the leaks, ZA was intended for this year, so they might have pushed back the anime a bit too.
Was originally intended to be a movie, with Ash returning for an SV series (with recurring characters like Leon and Goh), but that was scrapped and HZ became the full series instead.
Ash was intended to have a Capsakid, Klawf, and Fuecoco.
Still set in Ashime verse.
Tumblr media
A new movie was planned too. Codename Bauer. Was set to be released in 2023, but might either be in development hell or be cancelled. New Pokemon named Aperon, with the main protagonist being a new character named Akari. It's set in modern-day Kanto and the featured Mythical Pokémon of the plot is Mew. The idea was that the film will touch modern society problems, like cyber bullying.
Tumblr media
There was also sequel to Detective Pikachu called "The Great Detective Pikachu" set to be released this year. We don't know if the project is still ongoing or cancelled. I also don't know if this is like a proper image leak, or just something a fan threw together in response to the new information.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another new anime, code name RELOAD.
This is an all-ages anime series co-produced with Twin Engine (TE), a planning and production company affiliated with Studio Colorido.
12 episodes over the course of a year, 21min each.
The 12 episodes will be split into 4 groups of 3 episodes each, with event screenings in Japanese theaters, and have a wide distribution across online streaming platforms.
Originally planned for release in 2023, current status unknown.

Finally able to do this!!!! Hi! I'm a Tubbo fictkin, I'm recently awakened and looking for basically anyone. The issue is all I really remember is L'Manburg getting blown up. But other than that, I'm pretty positive that my canon was close to, almost exactly like the original. Hmu @arson-but-with-a-moltres if you wanna chat! I'm a minor btw, but I really don't mind interacting with older people! :3

Juliana's Family
I just love my interpretation of Juliana from Pokemon Violet, I've figured, "Why not give her a Galarian family?"
TW: supporting character's death mentioned, angst, history may repeat itself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gloria: Juliana's mom who's accepted and supported her new (and scary) life; during the Champion Cup, she hesitated to go against Hop and his last Pokemon... To the point where she almost took her Dynamax Band off from her wrist.* Hop: Juliana's late dad sacrificed his life to ensure everyone evacuated the PokeLab building of an unstable Galarian Moltres. Leon: Juliana's overprotective uncle who made sure that she and her mom had more than everything to be more stable; His nature changed dramatically when he lost his baby brother (aka, his "no. 1 fan"). BB: Juliana's flamboyant Zizi who ships Pride Month merch and supplies to her at the exact moment they heard her coming out; they truly and deeply regret mentioning to Hop that his "constant losing will rake Champion Leon's name and title through the harsh mud".**
*Ever since Hop went out of character after his battle with BB, she knew that something was off; usually, he would never mind losing (it was natural to happen during a battle). After a brief conversation with Leon, she grew more and more nervous as the Champion Cup was drawing near...
**As soon as BB noticed Gloria was about to forfeit via "taking off the Dynamax Band", they didn't even hesitate to grab the microphone from Chairman Rose's hand and made a public apology/confession... "WAIT!!!! Gloria! Don't you DARE give up! Hop's odd behavior was all my fault, not yours! So don't feel sorry for winning! Hop... Don't compare yourself to your brother." Despite how long it's been (and their accepted apology), they still never forget both of those moments.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since Juliana was a baby when it happened, she doesn't really remember him that much (except for the stories that were eventually changed as she grew older so she could understand more). The reason Gloria never told her about the incident (Juliana and her family would get yearly alerts from their Rotophone) was because she was still tender about it. As the time went on, she would slowly bring it up.
After hearing and remembering the stories, Juliana grew concerned for Kieran and his obsession with winning and "getting stronger". After talking about this with Carmine, the latter can understand; why she appears to be harsh and/or skeptical when it comes to outsiders or "Gaijins". (Plus, we only see their grandparents instead of their parents, so unless we get an explanation why...)
I'm sorry for the dark turn of Hop's future. However, I do believe that he'll die a hero by making sure that others are safe does sound like his speed.

Pokemon Horizons Episode 23 Review - How To Calm Down Galarian Moltres
Pokemon Horizons has been great so far, but if I were name one glaring flaw for this series, it would be that scenes that should be considered important are shoved onto off-screen land. The first offense of this was Episode 5 where Liko got her first win, but it was shown off-screen and then Episode 7 didn’t even acknowledge her defeat against Conia and only her loss against Amethio. Today’s episode is the second offense. The previous episode built it up as if Friede and Amethio were going to have to wait to be rescued by Liko and Roy, but two minutes into the episode, Friede just shows up with Charizard while being a bit battered. How did you get out? There’s no flashback sequence or even a mention of Amethio in regards to this. It’s just Friede going “Ha ha, I managed to escape. Man, that bird was tough.” I mean, it could be Friede’s bad habit of not telling the important details at play here, but at least show a flashback? From a writer’s perspective, this was a poor call.
Tumblr media
Frustrations aside, the rest of this episode was rather straightforward, but I liked it. Liko, Roy and Friede brainstorm ideas on how to stop Galarian Moltres. I like that they know they’re too weak to be able to defeat it in battle, so they’re trying to find alternatives. Liko deduced that it’s emotions are out of control as Hatenna was crying when it roared. They managed to come up with a plan after seeing how Sprigatito managed to calm down Fuecoco and Wattrel’s food scuffle.
The rest of the episode was just them trying to use that plan into action. As always, we see Liko spamming Leafage, but it’s the plan this time around. Friede and Roy play support. In a moment of distress, Arboliva manages to come out of its Pokeball to confront the raging Moltres. Then after that, the pendant glows and Terapagos shows up. After calming down, the reason for Moltres’s rage is shown; it’s highly implied that Moltres was lonely and missed Lucius. Lucius’s face is actually shown a bit clearer this time around. He looks like an older male version of Liko in a way as they both have blue eyes and black and blue-toned hair. I theorize that Lucius is either Liko’s ancestor or her past self; the latter could be plausible as reincarnation stories are the trend these days. I’m glad that Moltres wasn’t evil at the end. It goes into its Pokeball and now the kids have two Hero Pokemon accompanying them. It makes me wonder when Galarian Moltres will come out and help out. Will Arboliva and Moltres come out together in the future or will it be separate summons?
This episode really did give good development for Liko as she managed to understand Moltres’s sorrows. This is what she wants to do as a Trainer and she did it properly. Since this was the first instance of her showing off her goal, I can’t wait to see how she’ll do this in future episodes; I just pray it’ll be good writing. I personally liked how she managed to use what she had learned from Kabu to good use for this episode. She even mentions this when they met up with him at the entrance of the mine. I can’t wait for the day Liko has an official battle with Kabu because he helped her a lot.
Terapagos is now permanently in its current state and did not turn back into a pendant. Where will the story go from here? And since Amethio and his gang saw Terapagos, their sights have changed from the pendant and Liko to just Terapagos now. I just hope Amethio and his goons do something substantial going forth. Fortunately, the second arc of this anime has been announced to focus around Terapagos, so hopefully, Amethio does something worthwhile because it’s a serious waste of good character design for him to be so underutilized.
Despite the glaring problems with this episode, I do like how it resolves one conflict but opens up more questions. What is this ‘Rakua’ Lucius mentions? How does Terapagos connect to all of this? I’m honestly more excited for what’s to come than gripe about issues. What do you think will happen with the group going forth?

Lots of interesting things about Lucius from today's episode and the new preview!
First off, we finally know the identities of all six Heroes and it's a bit of an... eclectic mix. When we first learned about Lucius, I expected Rayquaza to be the only legendary on the team since it's the special Pokemon the story is built around, but the presence of Moltres and Entei alongside Arboliva, Lapras, and Kleavor ends up giving the whole group a very weird vibe for an anime team. It kinda feels like a kid just picking their favorites lol. I'm guessing we'll see Lapras, Kleavor, and Entei in that order since that's the order Diana listed them.
Tumblr media
We also have this image giving us hints of how our future Hero encounters will go down. Lapras seems to be part of a pack, so I'm guessing we'll get something similar to the Arboliva encounter, where the RVTs earn its trust after helping the pack. I think each Hero will probably be found in its native region, so it could be fun if this whole thing takes place around Roy's island (although it might still be a bit too early to revisit it). Then, judging by the blurry Kleavor image, probably some sort of encounter where they hear about a rampaging monster from the locals and go to investigate. The black and white makes me wonder whether it's been hanging around in this area for a while - maybe something that's has its own little folk legend spring up around. Entei's image is too vague to really make any strong guesses about. Rayquaza, on the other hand, is very interesting, as it appears to be in Motostoke again. Are we going to be returning there at some point or is it just a flashback?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next interesting tidbit is that the Explorers were apparently connected to Lucius at their inception. This becomes much more suspicious, however, when you realize that aside from Hamber and (presumably) Gibeon, the Explorers don't seem to actually know much about Lucius at all. All the underlings know is "capture the pendant." Neither Amethio nor Spinel actually knew that the pendant was a Pokemon, both of them maintained tunnel vision on the pendant even when directly faced with the Heroes, and neither seemed to have any knowledge of a black Rayquaza, despite it being the only Pokemon explicitly named in Lucius's legend. Gibeon and Hamber are clearly withholding information from the rest of the organization and taking advantage of their peons' loyalty in order to accomplish whatever their true goals are. The question now is whether the two of them are somehow connected to the original Explorers or if they're just using their name.
Tumblr media
And finally, we have what appears to be an actual photograph of Lucius, which threw me for a loop. I compared it to the glimpse of him we saw after the Moltres capture, and it definitely seems like same person. I thought he lived several centuries ago, but I went back to Alex's telling of the legend and it's only about a hundred??? That seems way too recent considering how he's been treated in the story but whatever. Anyway, the prior episode already established the high likelihood that Liko's family is somehow associated with Lucius, what with Diana finding the pendant and journal in her attic. Now that we have a full-body shot of Lucius, the design similarities between him and Liko/Diana are very apparent. I've been skeptical of the theories he was related to them before this point, but I can't deny that the evidence is growing rapidly. The curious implication about it is that with the stated hundred-year timeframe (assuming it's not a mistranslation or a misdirect), he's probably no more than two generations removed from Diana herself. I'm not quite sure whether I like the idea of him being her father since she would easily recognize him if she had this picture all along, but a grandfather or older uncle could work. Or maybe this isn't a picture of Lucius after all and everything I just said will crumble to dust in an episode or two. Who knows!

[A video file is embedded. The file seems to have some corruption, visual static playing at the edges of the screen, but the audio is clearer than many of the others.
The clip starts with a view of two figures standing in a makeshift gym of some sort, concrete floors with lines obviously hand painted, mismatched weights and sandbags seemingly bright together piecemeal out of other sets and equipment. The younger of the two, maybe thirteen or fourteen, stands with her arms crossed, looking embarrassed, her long brown hair tied back in a braid, making her cracked glasses and bruised cheek very apparent.
The second of the two is... off. Its as if the film was exposed twice, overlaying two different people over top of each other, moving in perfect sync. They have similar builds, one slightly more muscular and wearing a sports bra and the other not quite so much, topless, one buzz cut and the other with long flowing hair, One older, one younger. The facial features are just out of sync enough to make recognizing anything about them near impossible. The one thing that was perfectly matched between the two were the tattoos, many of them, and intricate, a Large Crobat across their back and Articuno and Moltres on their arms. They are facing away from the camera but traces of yellow imply the existence of the third bird on their chest.
The following conversation can be heard:
Blackout: -cant just go rushing in like that. It was stupid, reckless. You're lucky you weren't hurt worse.
M: But I wasn't, and I did what I was-
Blackout: I don't care. You can't always rely on not being seen in situations like this.
M: But I-
Blackout: Enough. this is not a conversation, this is an order. We start training today.
The footage skips and sputters and when it settles it's clear time has passed, but how much is impossible to say. The young trainer is exhausted, panting, standing opposite the older trainer, who stands stoic, their arms crossed and looking down at the kid, a large Crobat resting next to them. After a few moments of silence, the older trainer walks over to the younger, setting a hand on her shoulder.
Blackout: Not bad for your first day, kid.
The young trainer's shoulders relax slightly and they smile slightly at the praise before the video ends.]

I see so many pokemon fans misunderstand what legendaries are.
There is not only one of each of them. This has literally never been the case and only becomes more apparent over time.
While there are /some/ legendaries where this is the case, such as Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem. That is only due to the nature of how they were created.
Most legendaries likely have many multiples. I mean, via the anime we see many multiples of many legendaries/references to there being many multiples. I think most older fans should be able to remember the lugia and her baby. The idea of the being multiples isn't new.
"Well the anime isn't canon to the games, they can't breed in the games!" That is likely a choice made by developers in order to prevent people from /easily/ obtaining multiples of legendaries. Plus, there are plenty of pokemon that can't breed, but are shown with multiples in the games (think of the paradox pokemon).
While the games and anime don't always follow the same rules, the games do show multiples of legendaries (besides just Koraidon/Miraidon). The galarian form of Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno are great examples of this. It not only proves that there are multiples, but that they can breed, as they /adapted/ to fit the region they were in.
In terms of the anime, I haven't watched enough of the original anime to say much beyond Lugia, but I do know that in Horizons it is implied for there to be multiples of Terapagos (if the translation is accurate) and Rayquaza. With the Rayquaza being an especially great example of this, as it is /impossible/ to argue it as a continuity problem/oversight or anything but a deliberate choice to showcase that there are multiples of it. For those of you unaware, this rayquaza is /shiny/.
Anyways, yeah, a legendary is not one of a kind, and that is why people don't bat an eye at trainers catching one—err, more accurately that they don't freak out much.
(Also, I don't mention Walking Wake, Raging Bolt, Gouging Fire, Suicune, Raikou, or Entei because they are /not/ likely examples of multiples. Walking Wake, Raging Bolt, and Gouging Fire are likely /not/ ancestors to Suicune, Raikou, or Entei. Suicune, Raikou, and Entei were at one point essentially created by Ho-Oh, as they were revived by it. It is likely Ho-Oh didn't just 'heal' them, but probably reformed/created a new appearance for them based upon these ancient pokemon.)

Lost and Stolen - A Pokémon Creepypasta/Spinpasta - Chapter 3.LOST
DISCLAIMER: This creepypasta is a bit of spin-off, inspired by Lost Silver, Snow on Mt. Silver, False Red and Lost Soul Silver. Also, trigger warnings from those creepypastas apply to this one.
"This is my home!?" Ethan exclaimed. "It is your home," the man replied, "This has always been your home." "Then why does everyone want me gone!?" Ethan exclaimed, "And what's with Gold and Crystal being the champions instead of me and Lyra?" "We had to replace them with you," the man replied, "We had to change some things up, do something different." "What the hell are you talking about!?" Ethan yelled. "This world used to belong to Gold and Crystal," the man finally began to explain, "It was so much different from how it is today. It was older, it was more basic. So we overhauled this world into something new and fresh." "Why would you do that?" Ethan asked, "Couldn't you have just made a new world?" "A new world?" The man sneered, "A NEW WORLD!? Like that's even possible! This is the only world that exists! This is the only world that can exist!" Ethan looked down at the ground in shock, "What about Gold and Crystal?"
"You are Gold!" the man replied, "You just have a different name and outfit now." "Then why is everyone being mean to be for "replacing" him?" Ethan asked. The man looked at Ethan in shock, "Are you kidding me!?" "N-No!" Ethan yelped. "No... I'm not mad at you..." the man replied, turning around and scratching his head, "This shouldn't be happening... why don't the characters recognise him anymore? Game Freak would kill me if they found this world!" "Uh, what?" "Something bad must've happened," the man growled, turning back towards Ethan, "Some... entity must be trying to hurt you. Probably for some stupid reason like... I dunno... the originals are always superior to the remakes? Yeah, that's a load of crap! You shouldn't be tormented just because you were remade!" The man's words seemed to change something inside Ethan. Fear and confusion melted into anger and a need to do what's right, "Well, whatever it is, I'm going to destroy it. It's clearly a threat to our world!" He turned and started to head back down the mountain. "Ethan, wait!" the man ran up to him, "I have to warn you - please, please be careful! If the entity has managed to brainwash everyone else in this world, who knows what they could do! Do NOT underestimate it!" The man shoved something into Ethan's arms before walking off. It was an occupied Pokéball. Inside was Arceus. The Pokéball reported Arceus to be Level 100 and holding a Water Plate and had the moves Judgement, Refresh, Blizzard and Hidden Power. But the Pokéball had also reported Judgement, Blizzard and Hidden Power to "never miss" and Refresh apparently restored HP and PP as well. This is weird, Ethan thought to himself, I thought Blizzard had terrible accuracy and Refresh only cured status conditions. But he decided that he could probably take anything he could get.
Ethan made his way down the mountain, with Arceus out and following him closely. Arceus would protect him. He was the God of all Pokémon, after all. Neither the people of Johto or Kanto could hurt him, right? And just as well that he had Arceus, because just outside the mountain, was Professor Elm. And he looked enraged. "You... you BASTARD!" He yelled at Ethan, before sending out a Moltres and ordering it to use Fire Blast on Ethan himself! But Arceus wasn't having it - he got in the way of the attack, barely even flinching, before using Judgement. With the Water Plate, Judgement had become a Water-type attack, dealing massive damage to Moltres. "Just leave me alone!" Ethan yelled. "Not until you die!" Elm yelled back, "Moltres, Solar Beam!" "Arceus, use Judgement again!" Arceus used Judgement, completely depleting the rest of Moltres' HP. But it hadn't collapsed yet. It just kept taking in light. Why hasn't Moltres fainted yet? Ethan asked in his mind. He pulled out his Pokédex, which reported that Moltres "did not succumb". "Arceus, try Hidden Power!" Arceus used Hidden Power, blasting Moltres with slashes of dark energy. And yet, Moltres not only remained in the air, but finally fired off its Solar Beam, actually hurting Arceus. Only then did it faint. "You can't just hide behind the Pokémon God, Ethan," Elm replied, sending out Entei, "Entei, use Calm Mind!" "Arceus! Judgement!" Entei somehow managed to go first, using Calm Mind. Arceus used Judgement, but it only took out about a quarter of Entei's HP. Ethan's Pokédex said that Entei somehow managed to raise its defensive stats by all six stages! "Entei, Solar Beam!" "Arceus, use Judgement!" Entei began to take in light, while Arceus took out another quarter of its HP with Judgement. Entei was still roughly at half health, so there was no way Arceus could take out Entei before it could fire at him... unless he could land a critical hit. "Arceus, use Judgement again!" Arceus used Judgement, taking out yet another quarter of Entei's HP, and Entei used Solar Beam, dealing another harsh blow to Arceus and leaving him at roughly half health. Ethan wasn't too worried, however. He just ordered Arceus to Refresh. While Elm made Entei used Swagger. Arceus had regained all his HP, but was now confused. And none of his attacks were physical, so he had nothing to gain from Swagger. "Fire Blast!" "Judgement! Arceus had outsped Entei, taking out the last quarter of its HP before the latter could attack. "Not even a god Pokémon's top stats or powered-up moves will get you out of this," Elm growled, recalling the fainted beast and sending out Articuno. But unlike the previous two Pokémon Elm had sent out, Articuno had a nickname - VITALITY. And it had the Snow Warning ability, something Ethan didn't think an Articuno could possibly have.
"Let's see how you handle this one!" Elm said with a slight chuckle in his voice. "VITALITY, use Blizzard!" "Arceus, use Judgement!" Despite his confusion, Arceus managed to attack. But it didn't seem to even leave a scratch on VITALITY. Ethan gritted his teeth - even with a literal god on his side, this battle was going to be difficult. VITALITY's Blizzard then smashed Arceus, knocking out more than half of his health. "Arceus, use Refresh!" Ethan yelped. Arceus healed all his wounds and the hail barely did anything to hurt him. "Tch," Elm growled, "Refresh isn't going to save you from my wrath. VITALITY, use Mind Reader!" Ethan was already starting to feel nervous. Elm clearly must have some trick up his sleeve. He looked through his bag, looking for anything that might turn things around. He pulled out a Dire Hit and used it on Arceus, before telling him to use Judgement again. This time, Arceus did manage to land a critical hit, smiting VITALITY to less than half of its HP. But Ethan was still worried. What did the Professor mean by Refresh not helping? "VITALITY, use Sheer Cold!" Ethan felt a wave of terror wash over him. There was no way Arceus could tank or avoid the attack. It was a guaranteed KO. But he wasn't going down that easily! He ordered Arceus to use Judgement again, and grabbed Asher's Pokéball and a Max Revive. But Arceus didn't fight back. Instead, he, in his confusion, headbutted Ethan, sending him flying back. VITALITY sidestepped Arceus, using Sheer Cold on Ethan. Ethan felt the unbearable cold and passed out once again.
Ethan woke up in the same Sprout Tower-esque room as he did after what apparently happened on Mt. Silver. What the- again? Ethan growled in his mind. The Unowns spelling "LEAVE" were back. But FOREVER was still gone. Ethan checked his bag and once again, it was empty, except for FOREVER's Pokéball. But this time, he knew what to do. He returned to the ladder in the hollowed-out pillar and peered downwards. There was light coming from the bottom, so at least he wouldn't be in complete darkness. Ethan slid down the ladder, and walked through the hallway into the chamber with the sign saying "TURN BACK NOW". This time, FOREVER was already waiting for him there. "Yes, Ethan, I've been here all this time," FOREVER sarcastically barked. "I managed to get back home," Ethan exclaimed, "Even though everyone was being weird, I managed to get back home! But I got sent back here when an Articuno used Sheer Cold on me!" FOREVER's eyes widened at the mention of Articuno. "Let's try this again," Ethan rambled, "I STILL refuse to "TURN BACK NOW"! Seriously, what to you expect when I came from a place that I got told to leave!" Ethan braced himself for another long fall. But the ground below him remained. "You need to TURN BACK NOW this time," FOREVER replied. Ethan pouted and turned back towards the ladder. However, the Unowns wouldn't even let him re-enter the hallway. "What the hell am I supposed to do!?" Ethan yelled, "That sign is telling me to go back to that Sprout Tower room, but these Unown are blocking my way and telling me to LEAVE! What am I supposed to do!?" "Just say you're going to TURN BACK NOW," FOREVER replied. "Okay!" Ethan yelled back, "I want to TURN BACK NOW! Let me TURN BACK NOW!" Ethan was instantly surrounded in complete darkness. He couldn't even see FOREVER's eyes. But a light had appeared in front of him. He had to be there. That had to be the exit.
Ethan had found himself in a hallway that had seemingly just opened, leading to what he assumed was the outside world. Was the sign telling him to return there all along? But as Ethan started to make out what was at the end of the tunnel, his heart sank. The ground was light grey and littered with headstones and the sky looked to be white. The headstones became more legible and Ethan began to read them.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF: ETHAN HIBIKI'S VENUSAUR BOBBY 2010-03-07 - 2011-08-19 REST IN PEACE
Ethan froze in shock. Did Bobby actually die!? Even worse, he realised the date of death was the same day he and Lyra had gone to Mt. Silver in order to find Fire and Leaf. Was it all real, after all? "No... NO! This can't be!" Ethan yelled, running towards the headstone! His feet hit light grey dirt, kicking up dust. He went right up to the headstone, but its content didn't change. He read the other headstones, which had the names of the other five Pokémon that were in his team that fateful day, all with the same date of death, all surrounding a pit lined with big, grey blocks. This is just a mean trick, Ethan thought to himself, Surely my Pokémon are back in my bag... But there was still nothing inside except for FOREVER's empty Pokéball. So FOREVER had to still be around, right? "FOREVER? FOREVER!? Where are you!?" But instead of a Houndoom coming over to meet him, six Unowns flew out of the pit and floated right in front of him, spelling "DIED HE". "What are you saying!?" Ethan exclaimed, "Are you trying to tell me that FOREVER DIED!?" "No." Ethan turned around, only to get an Ember to the face. He yelped and held his face in his hands, but the pain wouldn't stop. Through his fingers, he saw FOREVER lunge at him, pinning him to the ground. "What was that for!?" Ethan screamed, "I thought you were here to help me!" "I am here to help you," FOREVER replied, "I'm here to help you to atone for your sins!" He bared his teeth, flames flickering in the back of his throat. Ethan shielded himself with his arms, only for the Houndoom to rip them both off. Ethan kicked at FOREVER's abdomen, managing to get the demonic dog off him, before scooting backwards towards the blocks behind him. "M-MY ARMS!!!" FOREVER scrambled to his feet, giving Ethan an even angrier glare than before. The boy managed to stand up without the help of his now missing arms, and turned to the side as if to run away. But something grabbed him by the bottom of his jacket, pulling him towards the pit. He tried to resist, but it held on tight. Ethan looked back at FOREVER, who was slowly walking towards him, then into the pit. A white, ghostly hand was grabbing onto him. Its pull was only strong enough to keep him in place... until it tugged, causing Ethan to lose his balance and fall backwards into the pit.
At the bottom of the pit was a wide, blood-red hallway. Ahead of where Ethan landed, both sides were lined with white figures. Ethan managed to stand up again and staggered towards them They turned out to be all the Gym Leaders from Johto and Kanto, but their colours of both their bodies and clothes had been drained to a stark white, with the exception of the darker parts, which had turned black. "S-Someone! Help me!" Ethan screamed, "I've lost my arms! I'm bleeding!" But there was no response from anyone. They all stood completely still. "ANSWER ME!" Ethan yelled, kicking Whitney, only for his foot to phase through her body as if she was a ghost. Ethan looked around. The end of the hallway was in sight and there was another white figure, but it was floating in the air. On closer inspection, the white figure turned out to be a boy, shorter and stockier than Ethan. He had arms, but no legs and his eyes were completely black and bleeding, with red laser dots for pupils. He wore a backwards cap that was white on the front and black at the back. His black hair had a large lock at the front, swept towards his right, similarly to Ethan's. He was wearing a hoodie with what seemed to be a wider version of Ethan's collar, but without the flaps underneath, and a black undershirt. He was also wielding a naginata in his hands. "A-Are you... G-Gold?" Ethan stammered. The boy tightened his grip on his spear in response and glared at Ethan, but didn't say anything back. "N-No... you can't be Gold, can you? Gold and I are one and the same, right?" "Wrong... I am Gold," the boy muttered back, "They just killed me, and replaced me with you!" Ethan felt a wave of dread wash over him. What the people of Johto were going on about was true! Gold had been killed and Ethan was put into his world. A world that wasn't Ethan's. And now the people of that world had found out and they were pissed. Ethan had been lied to. No. The people of Johto just can't handle change. Their world had to be remade for a reason.
O͞͏͏ut́͢ w͏i̛t͝͞h̵̶ ͏t͜hȩ ͏͏ơl̴͘͞d̸.͏́͘ ̧͘I̵n̸ ͏̢͡w̶i̷̴t̨́̕h̷̕ ̴͡t̸͞͝he̸ ̶̧̧n҉̷ew̸̕.͞
"Your death was necessary, you obsolete hack!" Ethan found himself scowling. Gold grimaced in rage and pointed his naginata at Ethan, who backed up in fear. "Spoken like a true murderer," Gold growled, "GIVE ME MY LIFE BACK!" Gold lunged at Ethan, the naginata going straight through his chest. Ethan saw colour returning to Gold's body, revealing his cap to be yellow where there was white, his hoodie to be red and white and his skin to be the exact same colour as Ethan's. His eyes became normal again, revealing gold irises, and his legs grew back, revealing yellow and black shorts and black and white joggers with red and yellow plates on the sides with red socks clearly visible. But Ethan noticed that his legs were gone, and he was losing colour, just like the ghostly Gym Leaders he had gone past in the hallway. He was now floating in front of Gold, crying tears of blood. "Goodbye forever," Gold said, with a tinge of frustration in his voice. Darkness erupted from below Ethan, completely engulfing him, stinging what was left of his body in unbearable pain. Ethan cried and screamed in agony for what must've been hours, until the pain, and everything else with it, stopped.
Ethan was gone. The visages of the Gym Leaders were gone. Gold finally had his body back. FOREVER hadn't just helped him cope with this hell, but had saved him from it. Everything was going to be okay. For the first time in ages, Gold felt something other than fear and misery. He felt relief. And fatigue. Gold's legs were struggling to support the rest of his body. He stumbled, trying to maintain his footing. But his grip on his naginata faltered, and his consciousness petered out.

Hello! Newly discovered Jibanyan kin here! My canon was closest to the games, it was post-YKW 3! I miss Nate and Whisper the most, but it'd be cool if anyone else could hit me up @arson-but-with-a-moltres! I'm a minor but I don't mind interacting with older people <3 (sorry if I already asked on here once!)

can I backdate a post to "be" older than tumblr?
shit I can.
Fuck it. Tumblr Natdex. I'll need to make 10+ posts for this eventually if I actually commit to this stupid fucking bit but I can backdate things. ⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸⸸ -> (Mega or Giganti form)
I'm sick of red lines add all of these to spellcheck as you go
Sort into evo lines based on whether or not I dislike the pokemon.
Make sure there's 100 in each section (Not super important until I actually start linking.)

Older snippet; this fic has been in my wips for a while and will remain there for a while longer.
On an unrelated note, what do we think about mega moltres?

Y'know, with there being no trace of Lucius in decades of searching and investigating what became of him, Moltres seemingly lashing out like it was out of grief (with Liko noting it the rain it summoned to be akin to crying), and just the overall vibe, I still feel like he met with a tragic ending.
We do learn that the "Rakua" mentioned last episode tho was a paradise Lucius had been searching for. Given his connection to Terapagos, I would assume that it could be another, older name for Area Zero and the Great Crater.

Scared to do this, but here goes.
Hey, I'm a Tomattoredd kin, specifically the Edd part of him. I'm looking for anyone who remembers being a part of them. It's so quiet without you guys, I miss you. I'm a minor but I don't mind interacting with older people.

Note
This is my first kincall so apologies if it's a bit bad... Uh, I'm an Edd kin, specifically one that used to be a part of Tomattoredd. I don't remember much about my canon, but I do know that I miss my friends. It's really lonely, and if anyone remembers being a part of Tomattoredd PLEASE let me know.
I miss you guys so much every day.

Power of One review
VISUALS
God they did not need to go that hard with the constantly shifting scenes BUT THEY DID. Also I know its more than likely because it's an older film but there were a lot more animation errors? Like instead of Oak's mouth moving to the audio it was the reporter.
VOICE ACTING
whhhhhyyyyyy was Lugia given a masculine voice. I hatttttteeeeee iiiiitttttttttt. everyone else's were good
PLOT
the plot essentially boils down to two parts: collector wants the birds and Big Dumb Idiot Bird Fight. not exactly the hugest fan of Ash being the chosen one. Liked the temporary Team Rocket redemption.
CHARACTERS
Melody was fun. Lugia was quite cool. But WHY did the slowking talk.
ASSORTED
It felt more like the Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres movie more than the Lugia movie, but they were so goofy ahh, so I forgive them.
Tumblr media
Not the hugest fan at some parts, but it is objectively one of the better Pokemon movies. 4/5 or 7.1 out of ten

Fuck it uhhh. Moltres brother headcanons.
-Silver adopted both Samuel and Ritchie! He later marries Palmer, making Barry their stepbrother.
-Brandon is allergic to…Payapa Berries
-Silver has one ear pierced back from his college days
-Brandon’s favorite ice cream flavor is pistachio, Silver’s is birthday cake
[more under the cut!]
-They’re both banned from the Oceanic Museum in Slateport for various reasons
-Brandon is 5’9 and 168 lbs, Silver is 6’5 and 215, because why not
-Brandon will do yoga and jogging every once in a while, but mostly dislikes working out
-Silver has a sweet tooth. It’s…bad. Brandon has had to stop him from eating all the sweets in his fridge on multiple occasions.
-They both have very thick hair that’s extremely hard to manage. It’s the opposite of male pattern baldness.
-Silver is 50 and Brandon 45, but most people assume Brandon is the older one based on their personalities
-The Regis love Silver, especially Regice!
-Silver isn’t nearly as tough as you’d think. He actually gets pretty shy and gets super emotional while watching movies
-Reggie trains with Silver now! Of course he still wants to be a Pokémon Breeder, but he’s slowly warming up to being a trainer again after his loss to his dad 3 years ago :]
-Brandon named Paul after his father Roderick, who’s middle name is also Paul
-Silver was the one to suggest naming Reggie…after the Regis. Brandon hadn’t yet discovered them at that point
