this is molar "mollie" faetooth, a changeling-unicorn hybrid who LOVES teeth. fae love teeth so much that fae tried to catch the toothfairy and succeeded, only to find out the tooth fairy is actually her aunt. after finding out, she begged her aunt to let her intern as a tooth fairy in training so she will someday get to live out her dreams.

Molly, I hope you realise the service you are doing with this new AU. A fluffy ass tale in which Kanthony are both properly unhinged and Anthony spends dumb amounts of money on Kate every day and she's just like, "You're an idiot, gimme my present" is exactly the kind of wish fulfilment I need in my life. I love this so much.

Oh Anthony will buy Kate whatever she wants. Because she’s really pretty, and smart, and she likes art and she never buys things for herself. She never treats herself so he is absolutely going to spoil his girl.

There’s a document on his computer that’s a draft of a petition for the national gallery to just hang a photo of Kate because as far as he’s concerned Kate Sharma’s face is a work of art. A Masterpiece. Blessings to Mr and Mrs Sharma on their creation of an absolutely perfect person!

Kate mentions needing to buy new shoes? Daphne says these are the nicest shoes.

New scarf? This one was hand woven from Scottish wool!

Earrings? Cartier have a tab for him now.

Kate’s colleagues can’t stop staring as once a week some sort of luxury good gets delivered to Kate Sharma’s office and Kate rolls her eyes and then tuts to Anthony on the phone. Truth be told they’re all jealous. Auction house employees are famously underpaid considering they deal with items worth millions every day. Kate Sharma’s walking around the office in head to toe luxury goods now AND she has a handsome boyfriend who worships the ground she walks on and takes her to lunch every second day??? Some people are just God’s favourites.

Kate meanwhile does little things for Anthony. She realised pretty quickly that his love languages are quality time and acts of service and a healthy dose of words of affirmation. So she makes sure she tells him every day how happy she is with him. She makes sure he takes time for himself, for them together, she organises little trips for them to go on. She made him a cake for his birthday and watched him swallow down his tears when she presented it to him in bed with a kiss to the end of his nose.

“I love you.”

Anthony took a long time to answer with his eyes pressed closed, swallowing thickly and still his voice shook. “I love you too.”

“I’m really happy that I met you. And I’m glad you were absolutely balls to the wall insane.”

Anthony huffed a laugh, “I think I actually owe Greggy a really big birthday present this year.”

“Eh we probably both do.” Kate sighed, handing Anthony one of the forks she was holding. “Now, take a bite and see what a good wifey I’d be Anthony.”

“Is that a hint?”

“It can be a hint if you want it to be. Start saving for a ring though.”

“You make it sound like I don’t already have one picked out.”

“Do you?!”

“You’ll just have to wait and see. Don’t be greedy, Kate.”

She rolled her eyes, “Still insane.”

“You love it though.”

“I don’t know what it says about me but I actually do.”

La Maison Zum Kragen est un édifice situé au 9, rue des Marchands à Colmar, dans le département français du Haut-Rhin. Cette maison d’angle a une histoire riche et complexe, datant du XIVe siècle.

Origines et Reconstruction

La maison est mentionnée pour la première fois au milieu du XIVe siècle et appartenait à Clawelin Saltzmann de 1419 à 1423. Elle a été séparée du Corps de garde par un étroit passage, appelé Kragengässlein ou Gallengässlein, qui relie la rue des Marchands à la place de la Cathédrale.

En 1584, la maison était vide et abandonnée, et en 1586, elle s’est écroulée. Claude Sattmann, qui possédait déjà la maison Pfister, a reconstruit la maison Zum Kragen entre 1586 et 1605.

Architecture et Protection La maison présente des caractéristiques typiques de la Renaissance, avec un rez-de-chaussée en pierre, des étages en colombage et un encorbellement peu marqué. Les façades et toitures ont été classées au titre des monuments historiques depuis le 16 février 1949.

Le poteau central de la galerie au troisième étage, daté de 1588, est vraisemblablement la date de construction. Le poteau d’angle sculpté, daté de 1609, provient d’une maison de la rue Berthe-Molly et représente un drapier tenant une aune.

Conservation et Intérêt La Maison Zum Kragen est un exemple notable de l’architecture de la Renaissance à Colmar et contribue au patrimoine culturel de la ville. Elle est protégée et conservée par les autorités locales et nationales, garantissant sa préservation pour les générations à venir.

The House Zum Kragen is a building located at 9, rue des Marchands in Colmar, in the French department of Haut-Rhin. This corner house has a rich and complex history, dating back to the 14th century.

Origins and Reconstruction The house is first mentioned in the mid-14th century and belonged to Clawelin Saltzmann from 1419 to 1423. It was separated from the Guardhouse by a narrow passage, called Kragengässlein or Gallengässlein, which connects the rue des Marchands to the Place de la Cathédrale.

In 1584, the house was empty and abandoned, and in 1586, it collapsed. Claude Sattmann, who already owned the Pfister house, rebuilt the Zum Kragen house between 1586 and 1605.

Architecture and Protection The house has typical Renaissance features, with a stone ground floor, half-timbered upper floors and a slight corbel. The façades and roofs have been listed as historical monuments since 16 February 1949.

The central post of the gallery on the third floor, dated 1588, is probably the date of construction. The sculpted corner post, dated 1609, comes from a house on rue Berthe-Molly and represents a draper holding an ell.

Conservation and Interest The Zum Kragen House is a notable example of Renaissance architecture in Colmar and contributes to the cultural heritage of the city. It is protected and conserved by local and national authorities, ensuring its preservation for generations to come.

Back of Your Head, Pt 2

There are multiple hints that Sally has two sides or aspects:

Initially, there were two things that made me suspicious about Sally being a divided being:

(I know one of these is canon and one isn’t).

Here, we see an earlier design, one that shows Sally’s buttons as star on one side, moon on the other. In much the same way, her door shows sun (star) on one side and moon on the other., surrounded by her crown. Introducing a moon to aspects of her character is really not necessary. As a star, her story is pretty complete. Fell from the sky, likes to be the center of attention, does theatre. However, a moon has been introduced. We can also see a difference in the eyes of the two halves of the door. Sally’s official image has the same closed eye and blue eyelid.

Sally’s eyes are much more varied than the other neighbors, spending a lot of time closed (tumblr hates all the pics, so I'm going to skip the eyes closed ones, but you can find them in the gallery on the fandom page for Sally)

Sally has her eyes closed way more often than the others, to the point that I was wondering in a post the other day if her eyes have to close for her to shine. She also is very obviously presented with one eye closed with a blue lid on the closed eye more than once, reflecting her door.

In addition to all this, when I wrote about Sally’s Pedrolino costume, I discussed the connections of the French version of the character, Pierrot, to the moon. Sally’s costume looks more like Pierrot version of the character. It appears that Sally is making a reference to her moon aspect with the costume. In that Halloween record, as well, she describes the things that happen at night, which is suspect.

Now, for the shape of the head:

Their art is super cool.  They go so far as to name this aspect of the Sally character Molly (which makes sense). 

On twitter, ArinaX7 posted this image called “Sally Moon”

Which is also badass.

So, I’m not the only one to guess at a dual character in Sally.

I can see where the first artist pulled this idea from.  The blue eyelid is also what kind of pushed me in the direction of a sun/moon Sally.  The question is, would she be half sun, half moon, or would she be more like depicted here—either fully moon with a false exterior, or fully moon at times and fully sun at others?

I think there is a bit more proof that the back of Sally’s head is being pointed out to us:

In some of the early sketches for Sally, the back of her head is flat.

True, it could just not be drawn, but given what Clown was doing here, you would think that this aspect of her would be explored.  (Also, her second row of spikes here decidedly less spiky, which could also be a hint?)  By the time Clown had done the Pedrolino costume, her head was rounded.  At least, I’m reading it that way.

It reminds me of Julie’s legs.  In early versions of Julie’s character, her legs are more rainbow (which is probably where the idea of a rainbow monster comes from) and later, she has the blue to green fade, which we realized were her actual legs, not tights.  Could they have started as tights?

There is another detail that makes me wonder—

You can see in this image the shadow between the front row of spikes and the second.  This appears in different strengths throughout depictions of her.  Is this show between supposed to delineate the layers in the sense of that her crown isn’t fused?  The artist above draws Sally’s crown like the two layers exist on the front and the back, which would mean two layers of two colored spikes pressed together.  What I had imagined was this:

Interestingly, her toy is split down the middle as well, but that makes sense for the construction of the toy, so it might mean nothing. 

Oh, and I almost forgot, her valentine is “I’m over the stars for you…and maybe the moon too.”

This isn’t a ton of new information, but it is an attempt to explain why we got a truly strange shot of Sally and what seeing the back of her head might mean for us.

So I saw these gifs from Dolce, and it made me realize that Hannibal was still wearing his wedding ring from his "marriage" with Bedelia while he's killing Will and I had a flurry of thoughts about the implications of their rings in season 3.

Hannibal could've taken it off right after he and Bedelia said their goodbyes, but that would've ruined the façade when he went out. And he didn't really have a way of knowing Will was going to meet him in the art gallery. He could've assumed that after his altercation with Jack, Will would not be far behind, but he didn't know when specifically it would be, so the idea of him taking it off before Will gets to the art gallery isn't really plausible.

But he had that heartfelt (in their own way) conversation with Will in the gallery, picked him up out of the street after he was shot, tended to his wounds, drugged him, probably bathed him or at the very least redressed him, made him soup, and fed him with the intention of it being Will's last meal, where Hannibal would finally express the true extent of his love for him by killing and cannibalizing him, and he wore his wedding ring that ties him to Bedelia through all of it.

How fucked up is that, that even in that moment where (once more through violence) Hannibal is finally allowing Will (as drugged as he is) to see all of his cards, he still can't be bothered to entirely remove his person suit even when they're the only two people in the room?

Do you think that's part of why Will is so bitchy to Bedelia? Because he's not completely unaware while Hannibal is doing all of this to him, and with that shred of awareness, maybe he remembered that detail just like he remembered things after his encephalitis was treated. And he's jealous. He's angry, at himself for ruining what could've been if he hadn't lied all those years ago, and at Bedelia, for stealing the position next to Hannibal, the love and time and companionship she got to share with Hannibal that should've belonged to Will. He's angry that even in that moment where he was barely lucid, it was his, it was theirs, and other people (Bedelia, Jack, Mason, Alana) still couldn't keep their mark off that moment.

Do you think that's part of why Will is wearing his wedding ring at the cliffside? Will's intentions are all jumbled at this point. With him telling Bedelia he doesn't intend for Hannibal to be caught a second time, and him telling Jack that Dr. Lecter is just bait for the Dragon, and when Hannibal asks Will if he intends to watch the Dragon kill him, Will's response is "I intend to watch him change you" it seems pretty clear that Will intends for Francis and Hannibal to murder each other and for him to walk away and go back to his (boring, fake, necessary) picket-fence life with his wife and child and all their dogs. But then you throw in the wrench of "Is Hannibal in love with me?" and "I'd pack my bags if I were you, Bedelia. Meat's back on the menu" and "Name the bait on your hook after someone you cherished" versus "Hannibal would be the best bait."

I don't think Will truly made his decision about what he wanted to happen, or what he thought should happen, until he was standing on the bluff that afternoon before the fight with Francis. I think he wore the ring up until that point because he was unsure if he'd be going back to Molly or not, but also, much like Hannibal in the art gallery, marital status at that point was irrelevant; it was about the façade. And I think Will kept it on that day, and into the evening and during the fight with the Dragon because he was still hurt and jealous and angry and vindictive, and he wanted Hannibal to be unsure.

He remembered that moment, that near death of his at Hannibal's hands, that couldn't be wholly, intimately theirs because of that band of metal on Hannibal's finger, and now he finds himself on another precipice of life and death, except it's Hannibal's mortality at risk, with Will sending him to a sacrificial altar, and Will wants him to worry, that Will is going to deny them both their greatest fantasies, death at each other's own hands, not by proxy or fate or accident, because maybe, just maybe, he's going to go back to Molly.

I think in both cases, the rings signify power over the other, but also the endless pursuit of the one they love while being terrified to reach out and thusly resigning themselves to a safety net, a loving wife, a façade.

Spooky Action At A Distance unveils cover art for their much awaited debut album

The Ambassadors meets The Breakfast Club

Perhaps even more difficult than snagging a ticket to one of SAAAD’s sold-out club shows is trying to describe the experience to your less-lucky friends afterwards.

Their sound defies basic mortal conventions such as genre, instead better described by critic buzzwords, namely, transcendent and explosive.

Four band mates of wildly different backgrounds and styles meet to produce something that’s both the ultimate sum of their ancestral influences and entirely, uniquely theirs. Their music unabashedly melds high and low art- what begins as a pop punk song flows seamlessly into an operatic verse, while another number features elements of a baroque dance suite in what can best be defined as a modern club anthem. Their lyrics are equally packed with esoteric references and universal emotions.

It shouldn’t work- but it does. And it’s delicious. In order to tide you over until the album release, we’ve got the first look at its cover art, and as a gift to fans, it’s visually indicative of the band’s layered sound.

Many of you may be familiar with The Ambassadors from school trips to the National Gallery. The painting’s a popular subject of debate for art historians due to its detailed subjects and metaphysical symbolism. It’s reproduced faithfully here, albeit with a few cheeky adjustments.

SAAAD frontwoman Crystal Palace (yes, that Crystal Palace!) takes the place of the leftmost figure, complete with lavish outfit and undeniable rockstar swagger.

Across from her, drummer Charles Rowland stands in a dark coat, sticks clutched in a gloved hand.

Bassist Niko Sasaki lays across the top shelf à la Molly Ringwald, dandelion-crowned head at Palace’s shoulder.

Center frame- the band’s ‘brain’: virtuoso Edwin Payne sits with a lute across his lap and the painting’s infamous distorted skull slashing across his legs. (Memento mori seems to be a prevalent theme in many of SAAAD’s songs, though they often turn it into a lively celebration)

Eagle eyed fans will notice a couple additions to Holbein’s instruments- a bear figurine, a lantern, and a cherry blossom branch among them. Are they references to the band’s lyrics? Hints at future projects?

One thing’s for sure, we cannot wait to see more of this group. *
