ic drama is a-okay,  but  please  no  ooc  drama.  it’s  just  pointless.

duplicates  are  only  allowed  in  the  case  of  real-deity  twins  ( eg :  deimos  &  phobos  ;  castor  &  pollux  ). however  this  doesn’t  mean  they  need  to  have  the  same  face  claim

though  the  group  was  originally  greek  mythos  only,  i’m  expanding  it  &  allowing  any  mythos  in !!

you’re  also  not  relegated  to  purely  deities  -  reincarnated  heroes,  princesses,  villains  etc  are  welcome  as  long  as  they’re  mythologically  based

canon  ships  /  familial  ties  /  etc  do  not  have  to  come  into  play  in  this  verse.  reincarnated  ares  does  not  have  to  be  attracted  to  reincarnated  aphrodite  -  but  if  you  want  to  follow  the  canon  relationships,  be  my  guest  !

There was no way in hell a girl like Regina didn’t know of her own talents.

Getting engaged in an actual debate, with a girl who almost seemed to match his smart mouth and ability to make pretty damn good points? It was exciting, and definitely made up for all the annoying encounters with less than clever classmates he had suffered in the last couple of hours. 

No, Noah definitely didn’t mind being challenged in such a way. He loved a good debate, and as far as he could tell? Regina knew exactly what she was doing.

The bell had announced the end of their class mere minutes ago, and Noah hadn’t been able to keep himself from approaching the girl who had challenged him so thoroughly.

BIO

Kol was born far, far too early, and it was only through extraordinary efforts by his father that he survived at all. Born and already half an orphan, his mother having passed in his early birth, Kol spent several months in the NICU before being taken home by his father –– and his father’s wife, Kol having been born the product of an affair. 

He lived with his father only for his youngest years before he was put into boarding schools. His step-mother, while a devoted wife, could not abide by a symbol of her husband’s infidelity being raised in her home. He was bounced school to school, never quite on the RIGHT side of authority. He was notoriously rowdy, and had a charisma that brought others to follow him into a childish madness. 

When he was kicked out of yet another school when he was thirteen, he was sent to OREGON. NOTHING good ever came out of Oregon. Still, it’s the school in which he’s stayed the longest: NOTHING he does seems to get him expelled. He’s excelled in theatre, especially with his penchant for dramatics, though he’s never missed a chance to throw a good party. He’s wild, and reckless, and he loves being just that.

School File: Elsa Saunders. 18 years of age; senior. Chosen electives - drama and psychology. Boarder. 

          Elsa Saunders was born to a soft-hearted mother and a fierce father; two people on separate spectra come together to conceive a daughter whom would grow to become a beautiful young woman. Little did they know, however, despite her allurement, Elsa was on a path to solitude; constructing walls brick by brick with each passing year. And the rate of development only increased when mother walked out the door, leaving damaged child and emotionally abusive father. It wasn’t his fault, of course; his negative development rose from her own mistakes and tendencies. She would be involved with the wrong crowd, find love in false relationships, be driven from society and into her own world. The words of her father would bite into her; provoking her insecurities, forcing guilt wrought memories to resurface, blaming her very existence. This was not a world for her; it was felt deep in a dormant locale of her essence. But it was the only world, the only reality, that she knew. 

          Luckily, however, upon reaching high school, she enrolled into Mount Olympus High and took residence on school grounds. It may not be the escape she sought, but it was the perfect liberation from berating father. Though lacking companionship, comfort was found in the winter season; embraced by the misunderstood cold, much like herself. At school, her ability to lie (as so experienced when concealing her social life from her father) came into great use when she enrolled in drama class. And her emotional instability led her toward her second choice of psychology; a desire to comprehend the reason behind actions of others as well as the own hell in her head. 

          Now at age 18, a senior at MOH, Elsa can only push forward through her final year toward a future that would hopefully be more tolerable than the life currently lived. Isolation remains an option, though her time at school has shaped her into something better than the roof she lived under with her complex father. Friends are welcome, but boundaries are set. She’s trusted before, and disaster resulted. Let her soul be damned if she makes the same mistake twice...

WHEN: when you were born the sky was overcast, a dark hue of grey that your father never lets you forget (it matches your eyes, your smile, you. it matches you). no wonder your favorite color is grey. when you were born your mother prayed you would do great things. it’s only been EIGHTEEN YEARS, but you’ve still got a while to make something of yourself; to make her proud.

PAST  :

abandoned  as  a  child  ,  erica  was  sent  through  a  number  of  foster  homes  and  foster  families  ,  each  of  which  she  got  kicked  out  of  for  being  to  aggressive  over  the  other  children.  she  would  punish  them  if  they  did  something  wrong  ,  make  sure  they  knew  what  they  were  getting  themselves  into  ,  and  by  the  time  she  turned  14  she  was  put  into  a  boarding  school  where  people  thought  her  efforts  would  be  more  “  appreciated.  “  

TIME  AT  THE  SCHOOL  :

at  first  she  hated  it  ,  but  slowly  she  started  to  intigrate  herself  into  the  curriculum  more  ,  finding  the  studies  of  law  and  psychology  most  intriguing  and  being  a  part  of  student  council  since  her  sophomore  year.  though  she  may  seem  to  be  friends  with  everybody  ,  as  around  the  school  she’s  known  as  the  girl  you  don’t  want  to  get  on  the  bad  side  of  ,  she  definitely  has  her  favorites  and  those  she  truly  dislikes.

“-- Earth to Rey, anyone home?”

The girl seemed completely lost in her thoughts as Noah approached her on his way to their next class, brows raised in a half-judging, half-questioning manner. It was nice to know that there were at least some smart people in his class, and honestly, being in a constant competition with Rey was definitely one of the more interesting parts of school. Noah tended to feel underwhelmed rather quickly, so he kind of ... relied on their more or less playful banter.

“I hope you’re mentally preparing for class, I’d be disappointed if you made my win too easy.” Okay, so hypothetically neither of them could actually win anything, but that didn’t mean that they couldn’t at least pretend - in order to make things more fun, and encourage each other to try harder. 

Not to talk about the fact that it was a good way to blow his already inflated ego further out of proportions.

P o s e i d o n One of the 12 Olympian Deities of the Pantheon in Greek Mythology. The “God of the Sea” and the “Earth-Shaker”, responsible for the ocean, the bringer of earthquakes.

Marisa Ribeiro and Stephan Reed had never been able to beget a child. Even though adoring their first, adopted son Elias, the wish for their own flesh and blood never abated.

Sitting at the seaside and praying to the ocean day and night, Marisa was shocked to learn that she was indeed carrying a child. As it seemed, the ocean had listened to her desperate calls - and, unbeknownst to both Marisa and Stephan, put its own essence into the unborn boy.

Raised and loved like any other normal child, Noah grew up with the ocean constantly calling him home. His perception seemed to differ from those around him - with senses strong enough to make him both appreciate and fear his colorful surroundings, Noah quickly found himself struggling with noises and details no one else his age seemed to be able to pick up on.  Peaceful by nature and highly in control of his emotions and actions, Noah is under the constant influence of the ocean. He gets affected by both calm and stormy days, making him an erratic person with a generally high energy level.

It was at the age of 15 that Noah finally lost control and succumbed to the rage and frustrations caused by his high energy levels and general discomfort. After a fist fight during class, Noah was temporarily suspended from school - he was lucky that he had never caused any trouble before, but contributed to the school’s good reputation as the head boy and captain of the  soccer team.

Still, his parents were convinced that Noah needed a fresh start where he would be forced to face his shortcomings and figure out a way to work through his anger more healthily. Noah ended up transfering to a boarder school, where he eventually got back to his feet and learned control through an excessive amount of sport and general hard work.

 Noah is physically stronger as well as more focused near the water. He’s a pacifist who despises violence of all kind, yet he isn’t one to be messed with, violent tendencies still raging beneath his skin. Still, he knows that it is possible to control them, making him a person who calculates every word, every action, with a perceptive eye for any potential outcomes.
