Hello friends! Im sorry I haven't been on. I got back from my trip and felt terrible. Then I got my first covid shot, and it ran me down more. Because of my body always in pain it was worn down and then the shot on top of it. BAM! Low grade fever and headache. I expected as much, it got over that to only need to go get shota in my hips. I think I will need to do nerve burning down the line. After that I felt a little bit better today. @tamazonx printed a #bokoblin chest from #breathofthewild. I saw one on #etsy for $32 and they used shiny grey plastic to make it. This lead them to only paint the eyes. I thought I could do better! I taped it up sure good and started to get to work. Once it was taped, I painted all the light grey. It took about 3 coats, the dark grey was done along the edges. I took a tooth brush, dabbed it off really good under I just pressed and smugged it all over the box. This gave it the lovely worn look I was going for, making sure to get around the edges especially where it opens. I painted the inside black and put #mogepodge on the inside to seal it. The hinge was next, I had some jewelry making pins so I used that and curled the other end. Finally the ''feathers'', there are two on each side with a green bead holding them. I decided to use felt to give that feather effect. Im super duper proud of this piece and I hope you all enjoy it. Its bigger then the #eevee and #bulbasaur I did a few weeks back.
