A Soft Spot-modern!Spot x Reader

Author Note: I feel like this trash and it’s pretty short so hahah-also at first I didn’t know what to title it cuz this one is based off of an AU I found(thanks to whoever made this one it’s awesome) and then I thought of the title and I was like woowww puns.

AU: ‘I’m all for destroying crap and being a jacka to other people yet here you are giving everyone flowers and hugs what the f is this crap-but I gotta admit you’re cute as heck-what do you mean do I want a hug; what am I, three?’

-‘I love helping others and being affectionate while you’re acting all cool and tough. I think I can change that. Do you want a hug?’

Spot Conlon was the toughest, coolest guy in school. Most of the school was scared to get on the wrong side of him. They all wanted to be friends with him. Captain of the football team and the wrestling team. He often got into detention and was in a lot of fights. Some said he would go around school, destroying things in rooms.

You were the schools sweetheart. Always passing out compliments and giving hugs and smiling as big as you could. Occasionally you would hand out flowers to EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the school. You knew about Spot Conlon, but you weren’t scared by him. You just thought he was a softie in a tough exterior.

One day, as he was picking a fight with another person, you walked right up to him, a flower in your hand.

“Spot?” You said, interrupting him pushing around another guy.

“Whadda ya want,” he mumbled as he turned around.

He looked at you, with your bright smile and soft eyes, and a smile crept onto his face. The boy he was pushing around looked at him and started to smirk.

“What’s this Spot. You a softie for some girl?” He said.

“Heck nah man. Mind your own business, I’ll get back to you later.”

You looked at him and handed him the flower and he relunctantly took it from you.

“Would you like a hug as well, Spot?” You were scared to hug him without permission, that he might push you away.

“I ain’t no three year old.” He grumbled, his smile disappearing.

You looked at him and before he started to turn around, you gave him a quick but tight hug then walked away fast.

“Spot. You going soft for some girl?” Another boy said, someone from his friend group.

“No man.” Spot replied.

He looked at the flower you had handed him and thought about how your hug still lingered. Maybe he had gone soft after all.
