This could be easy to navigate on-line payments systems. Think Amazon or it could be offering payment terms and even showing reviews at the check out. If set up correctly they will continue to do their function and turn your prospects into your customers. In this video we will cover briefly how the stages of these work. And why this automation is essential to start leveraging in your business. Previously we described the funnel stages as top, middle and bottom for simplicity and introduced the marketing principle AIDA. The key role of the funnel stages is important to understand in this marketing principle. The top is where you keep filling the funnel. This is the Prospecting System and also known as the Customer Awareness stage of the funnel. As this is where the Customer first becomes aware of your business. At this stage prospects are drawn in through marketing campaigns, consumer research and discovery. Brand awareness is beginning to be established here with events, advertising, trade shows, your on-line content, webinars, direct mail, flyer's, social media campaigns, on-line search engine results and more. You can begin this Prospecting activity with a narrow focus and then you can widen the focus of activity. As your business grows. And as the feedback from previous campaigns of whatever type is assessed for understanding of its effectiveness. Here the lead generation takes place, as information is collected. And customer leads or prospects are pulled into the system for nurturing further down the funnel. Ultimately you want the beginning of the funnel as wide as possible to capture more prospects but you need the other areas of the funnel working below to gain value from the prospecting.
