Happy 243rd to the United States! Even though a unanimous vote by the Second Continental Congress actually declared us an independent nation on July 2nd, 1776.... the formal declaration, largely written by Thomas Jefferson was signed on the 4th. This American Gothic- based peice was done by me in 7th grade art class, and it won a featured spot in the local newspaper. Clinic. Rehab. Food. Beds. Showers. Counseling. Unibrow.
