A Marriage: TOLL LISTEN. Listen. This fic is everything. I’m going to have to read it again because the first time I had an upset stomach and was up until 3am with it but like it was GOOD COMPANY? Anna thinking Sid is gay??? Sid thinking Anna is hot?? THE UNDERLYING PREGNANCY THE WHOLE TIME?? SID SPEAKING RUSSIAN AND HAVING ALREADY BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH G. WANTING TO MARRY HIM BUT LETTING HIM GO SO HE CAN BE HAPPY AND HAVE BABIES. SID. MY HEART. The way SID GETS ABOUT CRYING??AND EMOTIONS?? This whole fic was a heart punch and I’m thankful for sevenfists anonymous for writing it. I’d been re-reading A Shared Life earlier that day coincidentally and reading through all the comments and replies on it (because I’m that creep) and they can almost be read as a pair. ACTUAL TRANSCRIPTS TO SMOLL AFTER I READ IT: So I know that most IRL people would be really freaked out about the fanfiction about themBut on some level I wish anna could know how much we as a fandom love her??? and how rare it is that a wife gets so thoroughly accepted and loved and worked into a million ficslike, man i just love herlike i fucking LOVE geno and i just I’M SO PLEASED they’re together and making eachother happyand occasionally can drive sid out of his mind with lustI’M FULL OF LOVE

Morphe:TOLL This fic made me think for like A REALLY long time about the idea of the omega male both mating with the alpha male and omega female. INFILTRATING. Also the idea that Sid has like 80 kids? ALSO THE BLACK SILK SHIRT??? Very interesting, would like to see it expanded. We actually have a similar kind of HC in our arsenal, but based on a different animal. 

SMOLL Totally agree!!  I love fic where there’s a new type of dynamic explored because you always have to like shift and reassess your presumptions about characters(/real people shhh) within the new dynamics and this one!!  IT WAS BRAND NEW!  Eternal kudos to authors that do research and develop whole new social dynamics in fic like YOU ARE SO SKILLED AND THE AMAZINGNESS IS ONLY COMPLEMENTED BY THE WEIRDNESS and it’s the best when the inner fan heart and the David Attenborough heart get to be excited at the same time (side-hype - the albatross one!! // YOOOOOO THAT ONE -Toll).  The author did such a good job building the world into the plot without overexplaining and it was such an interesting take and I’ve been thinking about it ever since!  Omega harems!  INFILTRATING!  Frequent and animalistic flirting!  Kissing!  Casual poly!  Social structures and instincts and worldbuilding about modern efforts to challenge norms!  PEOPLE WANTING SID’S GENES GUYS WHY ISN’T THIS ALREADY A THING?  God this exchange has been good.
