Lars Angel the Hand of Judgement

Description: 6'2, light skin, short dirty blonde hair, light blue eyes, calloused hands and fingers, a scar across his back

Lars is a graduate student, and he looks it. The shadows under his eyes are a constant bruise, and his body collapses under the weight of exhaustion. This perpetual tiredness does little to aid his mood, and all who know him know it's best to avoid irritating him. A very easy feat if one isn't careful. The way he presents himself speaks of self awareness. He's made himself into a knife and he'll use himself this way as needed. He wants nothing to do with you, that much is clear. There's a glint in his gaze which speaks of long standing scars, and somehow, something about you probs at these old wounds. The two of you act as oil and matches, and so it will remain unless you find a way to stand on even ground.

I laugh thinking about all the scenarios where it wouldn't click for Ite that Sampo's shady, but I will pick ONE to pitch right now: I remember that wishlist you had for a museum thread a ...few weeks? back when considering interaction points. Sampo was in the restricted section of the museum, Ite saw him go in so she thought it was fine to duck along after him. Asked him questions about the exhibits. My three funny goddy moddy suggestions are a.) Sampo knows about the exhibits and tells her about them b.) Sampo does not know about the exhibits and tells her about them c.) Take either A or B and add on that Sampo had actively tricked her into helping him steal shit. If this is their first encounter or not did not matter.

Somewhere along the line phone numbers are exchanged for my express purposes. Sampo will forever intimidate her socially, Ite can't quite get over the shyness, people who know how to speak well always do. She'll sometimes text him a question she knows isn't true/doesn't make sense, just for the entertainment value of hoping he'll spit some BS.

I laugh thinking about all the scenarios Ite would not care that Sampo is shady. If he needed a goon Ite hasn't minded filling the role with varying amounts of convincing, wonky with her complacency. This stays a steady truth until she gets THE CONSEQUENCES, such as jail, and then it gets a little 🤏harder to get her to play along with the fool.

I hope that the ease of which Ite kills scares Sampo. I hope that one day he can be on the receiving end of an ugly fighting spirit. Vision of her broken nose dripping blood down onto his chest with her sword slotted in the space between his arm and chest, heartside. Bone of her knee snug in the soft give of flesh just below his ribcage and pressing up into his sternum. If you will smoke with me for a second.

What are their favourite things to do in their free time

Nova gasps flapping his hands, eyes sparkling.

"A question? A question!! Brother, Papa! We have our first question!!"

They grab their twin by the shoulders shaking him in their excitement.

Callisto gives a blank look as he's shaken about, unbothered as Eclipse gives a gentle laugh as they stop Nova.

"Nova, calm down my little supernova, if your brother's ok with it, why don't you answer first then?"

Upon hearing this Nova is quick to turn a pleading look to their twin.

"Calli, Calli, Calli, please, please, please can I go first?" They plead, bouncing on their toes.

Callisto looks at them neutrally before giving a small nod, speaking quietly. "...sure."

Nova jumps up cheering before they stand, putting a hand to their chin.

"Hmmmm.....let's see my favorite things to do are....." They furrow their brows thinking hard.

"Craft! No...ummmm going outside! No..." They think harder trying to decide.

"Watching cartoons! No...I mean spending time with my brother! Umm..." They pause rubbing their head with a whine.

"There's too many fun things to choose, how am i supposed to pick favorites?" They ask deflating slightly, Callisto pats their back causing them to perk back up.

Callisto turns to Eclipse, their sibling now placated, signing to him. 'may I go next Moddy?'

Eclipse smiles lightly ruffling his locks.

"Of course little Lune."

Callisto nods, seeming to debate something before slowly signing once more.

'Music, sleep, anything carousels, time with Nova.'

His answers are short and to the point, not interested in talking as much as his twin but happy to answer still.

Nova smiles tackling Callisto in a hug at the last answer.

"We both love spending time together! Oh, Oh! And now it's Papa's turn, Papa's turn!" They cheer giggling, Callisto and Eclipse join in with quieter laughter as well.

"Alright, alright, my turn yes." Eclipse smiles scooping the twins into a hug.

He hums in thought.

"My first and foremost answer would have to be spending time with my little universe, my children. But...if i must say anything else...trying out new recipes to cook and bake or trying new ways to improve a recipe." They give a shy smile as Nova beams and Callisto smiles softly as well.

"Papa makes the best things!" Nova cheers.

Double Trouble fankid: Charlatan’s little sibling, Masquerade!

Ohhoho, did you think Charlatan was my ONLY DT kid OC? Think again!

Like Char’s intro, this will be a long post, so all the info on Masquerade is under the cut!

Masquerade, or Quera (pronounced like “Kera”) for short joins the family when Char is 13. Unlike Char, Quera isn’t adopted. I headcanon that DT can reproduce asexually (some lizards can), and that’s how Quera happened. DT was terrified when they first laid the egg. Would it survive? What would they do if it didn’t? How would Char react? Since they weren’t even sure if it’d hatch, they told no one about the egg. They stored it somewhere safe and warm, trying not to get their hopes up in case the baby didn’t make it.

They did eventually tell Char so that he’d have time to mentally prepare. They were worried he’d get jealous, as he always was a little clingy, but Char actually seemed excited about the prospect of a little sibling and vowed to take care of them. They finally told the others when Quera did hatch. Baby Quera was a handful for DT and Char. They took after their moddy more than Char in the troublemaking department, and their favorite thing to do was biting Char (much to his dismay). However, there was one big difference between DT and Quera—despite how much DT loved the sound of their own voice, Quera rarely spoke at all. She just didn’t seem to like speaking very much and preferred to communicate non-verbally when she could. They found it odd at first, but learned how to understand her gestures and didn’t force her to talk when she didn’t want to. With the lack of speaking, her sensitivity to sounds and touch, and her stims, it became apparent early on that she was autistic, but that wasn’t a problem for their family. DT and Char did their part to understand Quera’s needs and how to keep them happy. As Quera got older, they developed a habit of picking on kids twice their size and starting fights with anyone who irritated them. Char did his best to discourage this and teach Quera to communicate her feelings better.

When they found out Quera merely had an interest in fighting, they channeled that with video games at first (which she LOVED), and then training and competitive fighting when she got a little older.

Char and Quera became very close, and Char does his all to take care of her and be there for her. He protects them when need be and helps DT with parenting duties. When Quera acts up, though, Char is quick to yell, “Moddy! Come get your child!” XD

Quera discovered they were agender when they were about 8. As they put it, “Pronouns are just words. They don’t define me. Call me whatever you want.” DT primarily uses they/them, and Char often uses they and she interchangeably.

As an adult, Quera forms a gang in the Crimson Waste and keeps it secret from everyone except DT, Catra, and Finn. Char eventually discovers it as well, and though he doesn’t condone crime (he’s become a hero at this point in time), he won’t snitch on family, and he even acts as her bodyguard every now and then. Besides, Quera doesn’t carry out violent crimes, only theft. She only fights when she needs to, and that’s usually when they encounter rival gangs.

While running their secret crime ring, Quera meets their girlfriend and makes her their right-hand-woman. They’re very much a chaotic crime lesbian duo, and DT loves that for them.

Quera’s weapon of choice is a metal staff that can retract to be travel-sized and has both the ability to cast spells (Quera knows sorcery) and the ability to destroy magic sigils (wouldn’t want to get trapped like their moddy did in season 4). Quera is also known for her strong punches. They’re a lot stronger than they look, though they are still a bit buff under that leather jacket. Though, adult Char looks stronger and scarier than she does, so if they’re in the same room, people mistakenly believe Char is the one they have to worry about. Quera enjoys the element of surprise, though.

Quera can shapeshift just as well as DT can, and Char never really gets to that level. Quera can also act, and they find it easier to talk when pretending to be someone else, but they don’t quite end up doing the same espionage game DT does and never become as good an actor as them. She does prove to have a lovely singing voice, but refuses to sing for anyone other than her loved ones.

Odd things that I tend to do but didn't put into 'rules' since those aren't nearly strict enough to warrant it, nor anything my partners need to keep to RP with me

I do not do likes. Ever. My like counters are zero across all my accounts. If I liked your post, it was by misclicking and I will unlike it as soon as I notice. If your post calls for likes, I will comment instead.

I crop my posts but I want to leave my previous entry included so it will be 'me / you / me'

I dislike ask post format. I will answer ALL my asks in a text post. You can reply to them all you want. Any ask posts on my blogs are there for saving purposes and nothing else

If you answer my IC ask in an ask post, there's about 5% chance I will reply IC (by making a text post and linking the ask post); if you answer to my IC ask in a text post, there's about 95% chance I will reply IC. Do with that info what you will, I won't tell you how to manage your blog, but be aware, if you answer an ask you'd like me to continue, either answer it in text post, or let me know in DMs

I don't hide RPs under 'read more'. Be it the most horrific gore, or the raunchiest smut. If you prefer it hidden, you're welcome to request I edit it temporarily for you to draft with a 'read more' but I will edit it back shortly after.

Sometimes the urge to have the muse reply to every single point the other muse made is strong, but it leads to what I call 'multiple conversations at once'. I won't fault you at all if you go there, but know I will pick one or two topics and cut the rest. If you're interested in developing a cut topic, by all means, your muse is welcome to point out my muse dropped it earlier and they want to circle back.

I have a mild dyslexia. Reading text with an over the top amount of formatting makes my eyes jump all over the place and gives me headaches. It's also a pet peeve of mine if someone doesn't use capitalization, or punctuation. I don't need you to have perfect grammar by any means, but if writing like this is your aesthetic then i simply wont write with you you do you tho its your blog have fun

Speaking about dyslexia: aside from typos, I sometimes skip words or enter them twice. I try to go over my replies to catch them but I might miss some (a lot). If you notice something, I will be forever grateful if you point it out to me before you reply because chances are I will notice my typos in your reply, where I can't correct them and they will haunt me for hours

Sometimes, I might say I dislike some writing styles, like 'I dislike the overuse of epithets: if you write 5 paragraph reply and haven't used your muse's name ONCE, using 'the man' or 'the spy' instead, I wonder who hurt you' (I actually dislike this). This is NOT me telling you to stop if you do this. You do you, write however makes you happy; if anything it means I like your muse/writing in spite of this one quirk grating on me.

I might send you a link to my draft, asking for your input whether your muse would allow my muse to do something or not. It's usually in places that I think are a bit too god-moddy, but cutting a reply earlier makes it clunky. Some people don't like it and it's fine, feel free to tell me if it vexes you and I'll either stick to clunky replies, or we part our ways with no hard feelings.
