What about Pearl 2 for a girl, and Merle for a boy? The number two, not the Roman letters.

We're naming a baby here, not the sequel to a movie.

Though, I guess Merle actually isn't that bad. It'd be different. Even if it does just stand for Male Pearl.

I think I'm going to use my veto on these two names. Sorry.
