So I was thinking about this on the way home. Cuz like, whether the celestial war was physical or not these boys lost it.

And I think Lucifer takes it rather hard. Like in the devilgram, you can hear it in his voice, he scoffs. Like he’s just ‘don’t compare me with them’ which is hilarious cuz even tho he’s a demon, Lucifer is an archangel.

Obviously, there’s a change in that after his fall, like his name change to Satan. But since in the game, he creates Satan I like to believe he’s still some part angel, which is ultimately why he is one of the most powerful beings on the planet.

But, taking this war into perspective, Lucifer obviously had intentions to win. To take over heaven, it’s the whole point of his rebellion. He was to be greater than God and then God had Michael YEET his ass to earth along with all the other angels who followed Lucifer and they became demons. Demons are ultimately Lucifer’s creation, a big ‘fuck you’ to daddy-o and mimicking angels. Of course the game kind of changes this a bit, where the devildom already exists and is under its own monarchy.

My point tho, is Lucifer is bitter. Him becoming a demon, receiving that fallen status, it’s not a win for him. Not really. In fact it’s a big loss, which is probably why he takes his new identity so seriously. ‘Actually I’m a demon” he doesn’t wanna be compared to an angel. To being God’s son. To that life.

It’s something he left behind, cuz he choose to. He was kicked out, he fought to take power and he lost. So now he’s in hell and he��s striving to be the perfect demon, creating his own throne, his own followers.

He’s a sore loser lmao, like it’s all a big show. Telling God he doesn’t need him, he’s better off. Thrive in the devildom and boast his pride and glory.

Adrien saw the look of on Marinette’s face, she was absolutely devastated. He couldn’t recall another time she was this visibly upset except for the time that she got expelled. He knew from experience that Marinette was trying to keep a straight face on, but failing terribly in doing so. He watched her quickly excuse herself and leave the room, unable to say another word. Anger burned in his chest, he knew that his father was cold, but what he said was too far. Gabriel KNEW that Marinette looked up to him as an idol and the way he came down on her was borderline cruel. He could see that his father didn’t want him going after her.

Gabriel, apparently pleased with himself turned and left Adrien alone in the hallway to stare at Marinette walking away. Once his father was out of the room he dashed after his classmate. He’s already seen Hawk Moth get his claws on her once, he wasn’t going to stand by and let him do it again. Out of the corner of his eyes he could already see the demon was quick to attack. He didn’t have Ladybug in the vicinity and he needed to protect Marinette so he did the only thing he knew how to..

“PLAGG, CLAWS OUT! CATACLYSM!”

He yelled out without checking for witnesses as he transformed, pushing his body to reach Marinette first. It was going to be close, but he managed to reach the Akuma first. The moment his Cataclysm met the Akuma he felt an intense pain wash through him. He wanted to scream out in agony but bit his tongue instead. He managed to protect Marinette this time, the last thing he wanted to do was to make her worry.

“I told you I would protect you princess.”

Though his voice couldn’t hide the physical pain he was in, maybe Cataclysming an Akuma wasn’t the smartest plan, but it was the only one he had.
