maybe im just talking for the sake of talking but i can't stop thinking about this aspect of their dynamic. ciel holds so much value in the truth and HATES liars yet lies to everyone always. sebastian is the embodiment of dishonesty and physically Cannot Lie. something something symbolism for one character craving honesty in others because he has learned that he cannot risk being honest with himself vs this thing that's so transparent in what it is it has no need for self disillusion.
