xiao ;; enlighten me
details ;; we are immortal // above the sky; faeries & folklore, my love is all yours
synopsis ;; he doubts who you truly are
“Oh, please! That’s hilarious,” you giggled, a hand over your mouth as it parted slightly. He stared at you in contempt, his gloved hands griping his spear tightly, knuckles going snow-white. The jade hued blades of his spear pressed further into the skin of your neck, you dropped your laugh. “How dare you?” his tone reeked of vengeance, every syllable dripping of poison.
Pushing your hand in between your neck and his spear, you tried to ease him into letting you go, though your efforts were of no avail. Dropping the smile which was supposedly, perpetually, glued to your features; You hummed, fingers picking up the blood that ran cold down to your collarbone. “My words, exactly!” and there was that stupid grin again, “How dare you draw my blood so loosely. You know, we, humans, are fragile, right?”
You leaned closer, and he flinched slightly at the distance between the two of you nearing closer and closer by the second. Hands holding against his chin, the one skin of his fair cheeks grew dirty with your blood. “This is no time to jest, [Name].” he spoke in a calm manner but you could tell his restraints were quite close to ripping.
Tapping at his nose twice, you closed your eyes, foreheads connecting. “If you keep up this ruthless, merciless lifestyle... Xiao, my love, you’re fated to doom at the hands of those who hold you dearly close.” And within an instance, he pushed you away, landing face up to the gravel beneath you, wincing at the sudden pain. “I told you, Xiao. Treat me better, I can’t get injured too deeply!” he ignore your constant whines and protests.
Scoffing, “As if your readings would ever come out true. You’re wasting my time.” a laugh, irking the already snappy tortoise-haired male. “What exactly do you mean by that? Now, if you remember correctly, I did prophecy Morax’s fall, did I not?”
“You!” It was no longer his blade that dug into your skin, rather, he, himself. His nails shoveling deep into your pale complex, crimson ichor pooling and dripping from the wounds he created. “You dare mock the Geo Archon?!”
“Previous Archon.” you teased, and his body weight shifted, pinning you further into the ground. The sharp rocks cutting in your skin, the rocky terrain which was once a monotonous grey, stained a velvetly scarlet rose.
You pouted, “Pushing too hard, we mortals are, once again, quite literally like glass compared to you, an adeptus.” He gritted his teeth, there was desperation in his actions. Oh, you thought, he held the Geo Archon quite high. A grin, that’s your weakness, Xiao. “You’re not a mortal, what in Celestia are you truly?” You fool of an adeptus.
“As I told you when we met. I am merely a consultant to the Gods, a fortune-teller.” I am Celestia itself, the Heavenly Principles.
The supreme ruler.
