Ok, mml dnd au thoughts

Bradley as a rogue. Because rogue!Bradley is a character that real!Bradley is playing, he has to make them up. And I think that is Bradley made a dnd character, he would absolutely make them a brooding, edgy loner rogue. I mean, look at that detention episode. Bradley would love playing a brooding rogue.  my other classes for the characters are: 

Milo and Zack are both bards, Melissa is a fighter, Amanda is a cleric, Cavendish is a paladin and Dakota is a druid (but the wildfire circle subclass so he gets revivify, for obvious reasons) 

Milo, Melissa and Zack know each other beforehand (although I’m thinking of Zack having met Milo and Melissa shortly before the beginning of the story, and having some past with the lumberzacks as his ‘dnd-character-angsty-backstory’), and Bradley and Amanda know each other beforehand and are forced to team up with the main trio for some mutual goal, which ends with them becoming actual friends

Cav and Dakota would be more powerful (higher level in game) adventurers who are forced to team up with the team for a mutual end, possibly something to do with Murphy’s Law so they have no choice to team up with Milo? And then they grow to actually like the kids despite being initially sceptical 

In real life, Sara is dming a game for the kids because she is a Nerd (and I am a dm and I like projecting on Sara) (but seriously I just feel like Sara would like dnd), and Cavendish and Dakota join in later on because they just end up at the house like they do in the games night episode. Bradley only joined because Mort had to pull out for chakra issues or something and Melissa found him as a last minute substitute. He is initially Not Happy, but he does end up warming to Milo over the course of many sessions, possibly due to some heart to hearts, possibly due to some Murphy’s Law adventures, which is reflected in his Brooding Rogue warming to Milo’s bard

Hi,

So I saw a post where someone mentions a Milo Murphy’s law dnd au u made, could you plz sum it up for me?

OH BOY THERE'S A LOT GOING ON THERE

To put it VERY simply, the AU revolves around Milo (Sorcerer), Zack (Bard), and Melissa (Monk, though in hindsight, I wish I had made her a fighter) going on a journey after their town is attacked and Martin is mysteriously drained of his negative probability magic. Bradley (Ranger) and Amanda (Cleric) end up joining the party soon after, albeit for different reasons. Luck and probability is a direct form of magic in this world and people are very aware of it.

Also Cavendish and Dakota are adventurers in the B plot who end up getting a highly specific bounty from basically the only person willing to hire them at this point. And yet for some reason, things keep going disastrously wrong every time they get close to their target.

There's a lot of timelines and some fairly scattered lore and plot points, but that's the basic gist! You can find a bit more about it by searching the #mml dnd au, tag. Feel free to ask more about it if you'd like!

The party had just stumbled across a rather.. strange gem. Milo leaned over to read the stone tablet positioned next to the gem as he picked the strange thing up.

”Here is a Tumblrite. This gem has the incredible property of creating a link to another plane of reality. This connection should allow beings from this reality to communicate with those who have linked with the gem. To break this link one must simply-“

He was cut off as the stone tablet crumbled. There was a brief pause of silence throughout the group. “Well doesn’t that just figure.” Bradley remarked with a roll of his eyes. “It’s fine! We‘ll figure it out eventuall!” Milo assured.

The Au has these creatures called corrupters which make people obsess over a certain desire. We made a hypothetical corrupted Phineas where he works himself to death for each and every passion project and completely ignores things like sleep and res. This is his theme!
