honestly like a 5+1 could be so good, like 5 times they ~insisted they help and 1 time he asked them to or something idk, but god I'm SUCH a sucker for people dressing other people, it's SO intimate but without the immediate expectation of sex that undressing has, so it's a very different kind of tension? like there's a something so....proprietary? about it? of getting to see them as they are, and then dressing them until they're how the world will see them? no one else gets to see them like that!! they are ensuring that no one else gets to see McCoy like that!!

spock and jim coaxing mccoy into his dress uniform by putting it on him THEMSELVES is SUCH a good idea. and him being hurt and having it be literal and not just metaphorical caretaking is also so !!!!!

also you mentioned spock doing mccoy's makeup (YES PLEASE) so now i also have to contribute back: them shaving his scruff??
