1: what was your writing-highlight this year? what made it special and how will you reflect on it next year?

i think nano was a real high for me this year! it always is, but this year especially made a mark; i made a lot of friends in my regional group, i was happy with the writing i did, and it was overall just a really nice time.

15: time for shameless self-promotion! answer with a piece of writing you want others to see/read! (if you have nothing posted/published this year, any other year is fine too ^^)

i know this is meant to be one work, but i read through a bunch of my old stuff (since i havent posted much this year at all) looking for my favorite and i ended up with three to recommend lmao.

this one was posted november of last year. it works perfectly well as a standalone although it was made as an AU for me and my friend's PCs, ileao and alex. it's about 50k! Villainous Thing

the next was posted around the same time, it's called Fairy Seduction. it's another ileao/alex au but it's only 15k, needs some knowledge of dnd gods but that's mostly it? it's about alex getting assigned a fairy godparent (ileao) for the ball.

and the final one (i think this is my favorite--maybe tied with Villainous Thing tbh) is something i posted in 2019. i know, i know lol. it's about an npc from a very long dnd campaign i dm'd, and it is nigh incomprehensible without context (the PCs and finny used a planar ship to jump to a neighboring plane, where they found planar doubles of themselves living separate lives, finny's song became god and got mad, and finny got put in "jail" with the planar doubles of the PCs. you see what i mean sksks). that said, i really like it, and it's only 4k! it's called Wanderlust.

this really did not intend to go so overboard as;dlkfj i just got caught up rereading stuff. but i really enjoyed it, so thanks again for the ask!! had a blast ^.^

Oggi pomeriggio l’imperativo categorico è prendi la macchina e facci un giro. Perché la scatolina che la mia assicurazione mi ha fatto montare vicino allo specchietto retrovisore dice che il livello della batteria è basso. Perfetto, pensai: ascolti gli altri per cercare di capirli e ascolti tutti le cose orribili e meravigliose che fanno a se stessi e alle persone che li circondano, e alla fine ti sarai esposto mlto di più tu di quelli che hai cercato di ascoltare.
