I give in, I ship it.
They're legally married for social status and the benefits- but both are a bit too much into each other 👀

Creeper the mechanic
"Darry."
"Yeah?"
Darrius asked as he was sitting out on the porch swing, cradling his daughter in his arms as she was asleep. Her webbed face was buried into his chest while her tiny wings were spread out all relaxed.
The Creeper and Darry had been staying with Trish on her former farm, until they could move into a new lair. Trisha sat down next to him and gazed down at her little niece, smiling softly as she stroked her hair.
"Your um, your…" She still couldn't bring herself to say it, not after all the trauma she had been through. "Your partner is in the barn fixing up the car, you know the…" Trish sighed as she leaned her head against Darry's shoulder and watched the child below yawn. If only she was brave enough to confront it all. Darrius wrapped his arm around her and pressed his lips against his sister's forehead. "You're still a huge brat."
Darry rolled his eyes before his attention was turned towards the Creeper, suddenly standing right before them with a grin on his face and covered in grease and motor oil. "Y'all, I fixed up that old thing and made it all right again. Just need to spit shine it tho, anyone willin' to offer up a good, juicy tongue for it?"
He darkly chuckled, unaware of it making Trish deeply uncomfortable as flash backs went off in her head. Darrious stood up, giving Creeper a slight glare and mouthing 'shut up' before turning to his sister and helping her up.
Creeper was a bit confused from Darry's reaction, usually he found his black humor hilarious. But he simply shrugged it off and lead the pair of siblings to the old barn, cracking open a door as he motioned them to go through. Trish was hesitant, and for good reason. But once she heard Darrious call for her, she sighed and peered in to see her car restored. With a shocked grasp, Trish took a step inside. "Its beautiful! He-he, how?"
The Creeper answered by whistling softly, before getting inside and starting the engine with ease as it roared to life. Every dent, tear, and rusted spot was gone.
Of course it needed to be shined, and a few touch ups with the paint job, but the Creeper had brought it back to life. "Well Trish, the car wont get stuck on yah for a long, long time. It also got some new modifications that you'll find mighty handy, but I'mma have to show yah around them before you to her out for a drive."
Creeper said as he stepped out and patted the roof softly. He took Ash from Darry's arms, kissed and licked his cheek before purring their daughter was still sleepy. He gave a quick nod to Trish before climbing up to the hay filled loft where he was staying, putting himself and his child down for a nap.
"He's changed Trish, just need to give him a chance."
"Ball sniffer."
"I think you mean monster ball sucker."
Darrius snickered as Trish sighed heavily, before both froze as they could hear Creeper growling. "You both stop with dem dirty words! Ash dont need to be repeating em."
Trish rolled her eyes, as if Creeper needed to be worrying about cuss words when his and Darry's daughter was exposed to corpses everyday.
Later that night, Trish took her car out as she had nearly forgotten what the Creeper had told her. She had a date with a tall, blond and handsome and he was nowhere near her ex.
But when he walked her back to her car later that night, he must had touched or pulled a trigger, for a pair of spikes drove right through him, barring him from Trish for a moment from the passenger door as his neck was stuck in the window. The Creeper was expectantly waiting when she got back, and helped her figure out her vehicle and where the booby traps were located while she ranted and raved at him until sunup.

Nightmare. (Short drabble.)
Side note, I wrote this in the car while my step dad was being terrible in the car while using notes on my phone, so it isnt that long.
He could hear the television on, stirring him awake from a vivid nightmare. The Creeper always had them for as long as he could remember, but now he had Darrius too seek comfort from. His old eyes looked across from the bed as he could see Darry propped up against pillows, awake and holding their daughter as she was fussing.
On the TV was an old slasher movie, blood splattering as Darry yawned. For a moment, the Creeper remained still...taking in the sight of his husband and daughter. It might a soft smile to his face as he sat up with his hands gently motioning for Darrius to hand Ash to him.
Darry's attention snapped from the TV when he heard a soft grunt, before being startled as he caught sight of movement. Tension was building up from the movie, and it caused little Ash to suddenly cry. "Noo, don't wake up auntie Trisha little dude."
Darrius pleaded before Creeper took her from his arms and held her close. She squawked, before her father nuzzled her forehead and licked her hair as if grooming it like a mother cat, before placing her to his chest as she began to feed. Darry watched before yawning again as he leaned against the Creeper and watched her nurse with her tiny hands curled into fists. Darry was about to stroke her head when the Creeper growled.
"Not when she's feeding."
He casted a glare to him as Darrius rolled his eyes and rested his head on his shoulder. "She's my baby too." He huffed before Creeper sighed softly and licked the tip of his nose. "I know that, but she needs to eat as much as she can right now." He chuckled, clearly in a peaceful but sleep deprived mood.
The visions of his nightmare flashed once more as he couldn't help but whimper softly, burying his face into Darry's hair as his third nostril flapped to catch his scent, it always brought him comfort after all.
Darrius felt himself being held by the Creeper as their baby was finished feeding, milk dribbling down from her mouth as he cleaned her up and allowed Darry to cradle her within his arms as their baby fell asleep. Even if Darry had fallen asleep, Creeper was still awake.
His mind couldn't shake from what he saw in his sleep. He was alone, in his lair everything the same as it had been before Darrius. But it was now, not the past. Darry and Ash did not exist- and that was his worst nightmare that he could ever conjure.
Finally, he settled as the TV was now on a commercial. He found himself curled around the both of them with his wing draped over like a thin blanket.
