Chapter 2: The Plan

“Are you sure?” voiced Nino. Chloé rolled her eyes, Nino and his damn pacifism, why did he have to be the voice of reason in all of this?

“Yes I am sure,” Chloé snapped back, inspecting her nails. "They have gone too far. Lila's reign has gone on for too long, she needs to be put in her place."

"For once, I agree with Chloé," Nathaniel said, swatting Chloé’s leg away as she tried to kick him off the chaise.

"I don't know if we should guys…" Marinette stated, not moving from the hug.

"She ruined your commission sketchbook! She needs to be taken down," Kim replied, tired of dealing with Lila's bullshit.

"Maybe we should take a stance, Mari. She's been harassing you for too long," Nino said, surprising everyone else.

"You've never been one to straight up agree with our group. What's the change of heart Lahiffe?" Chloé teased him.

"I'm still a pacifist Chloé, but no one hurts my friends and gets away with it. I'm not joining in the violence, but she needs to be taken down," Nino replied sternly.

Chloé had an evil smile on her face, as she turned her body to sit instead of lounging on the chaise. She looked at everyone there, before turning her direction towards Marinette.

"Well. We just need our empress to agree," she said, a knowing grin on her face.

Marinette stayed still but soon sat up in her bed, moving away from Nino and taking the blanket off. Red, puffy eyes stared back at Chloé, evidence of the hurt she felt.

"Let’s fuck this bitch up."

In the Agreste mansion, Adrien sat in his room, feeling like an utter bag of shit. His advice led to this. His advice caused more pain to Marinette than he thought was happening. Guilt had washed over the blonde, knowing that he could have done something to stop this sooner. Marinette was one of his closest friends, and he ignored her feelings for the feelings of a two faced faux.

But alongside the guilt laid anger. Lila had gone back on their promise. She hurt Marinette behind his back. She had lied once more.

It was time for that lie to be her last.

Sitting up from his self wallowing blankets and pillows, he knew he had to do something.

"Plagg, what should I do?"

Plagg looked over at his chosen, Camembert cheese still in his paws. He saw a new side to Adrien and knew it was time for a change.

"Well," he started, "you could start by apologizing."

"How would I be able to apologize for something like this? I royally screwed up," Adrien replied, falling back on his bed again.

"So ask Ladybug for advice."

Adrien sat there, contemplating Plaggs words. Ask Ladybug? She doesn't like when he talks about his personal life. However, she would be the best person to get advice from.

Deciding then, he would talk to Ladybug during their next patrol together. Thank kwami the weekend was close.

Back at the bakery, a plan was brewing. Marinette had already dried her eyes and pulled down her planner. Thankfully, she changed the planner to remove Adrien's schedule. Looking back on that she internally cringed, god she took that crush a bit far.

Chloé had Marinette's old book out, which held every information on each student in the school. Everything from their crimes, to their good deeds, were recorded, along with family social economic status and how much money was donated to the school.

Max had his laptop out, finding every information he could about Lila. Markov was over his shoulder, helping in the research. Kim was, helping? He mostly just wrote some stuff down in the notebook next to Max. He made jokes most of the time, trying to help keep up morale.

Nino was next to Nathaniel, helping create a game plan for their comeback. Everyone knew they would have to go to Aurore and Mireille to spread the word about the Royal Primaries coming back.

Marinette turned from her spot at the schedule, marker in hand after writing down some basic plans.

"Alright. I think I have an idea of how to do this."

Everyone turned their attention away from their task and focused their eyes on her. Marinette stepped to the side to reveal what she had.

The calendar showed them the rest of the month, with that rest of the week dedicated to getting everything they needed ready. Clothes had to be bought, pins had to be found and any broken repaired, and they needed to get their Royal Shades in on the business. The rest of the month was blank, besides their comeback for the next Monday.

"Any ideas for when we should do anything?" Marinette asked.

"I was thinking. We let Lila think she's safe with a faulty pin. I know Nathaniel’s family could get something made," Chloé suggested.

Nathaniel nodded in agreement, "I can see what I'll be able to do. No guarantees though."

"Alright, and I was thinking Chloé, what if we have Sabrina, Juleka, and Rose as our undercover girls? I know Sabrina is already faking, but I think we need more for backup," Marinette said while adding the pin idea to the board.

"That would increase our success rate by 36.78%. However, what if Lila sees past it?" Max added on.

"Oh please. Lila is an attention whore, having three people eat up her words will send her over the moon," Chloé sassily responded.

Max shrugged at her comment as Marinette added the secret spies to the list.

"Anything else?" She asked.

"I want to try and talk to Alya. Hopefully, get through to her about Lila," Nino said solemnly.

A silence hung in the air. Everyone knew that Alya was one of Lila's biggest followers, her blog had basically become the Lilablog instead of the Ladyblog.

"I know it may be hard," Nino started out, "but I still want to try. She's my girlfriend after all."

A silent agreement was made. Everyone knew it wouldn't end well, but it was worth a try? Maybe?

"I'll make sure that there's ice cream," Chloé said before turning her attention back to Marinette, "well?"

"We have a plan now."

of course, we've got our main trio - chloé, marinette and nathaniel; but then we've got the others in the crew - kim, adrien, marc and alix and they've all got their colours

so if you've seen my last post [here] you'll know that aside from just playing around with the colours, chloé, marinette and nathaniel all have colour meanings for their jackets. the other four don't. why?? cause this was purely just playing around with colours

HOWEVER - their colours kind of represent who they're mainly in this team for.

so kim is that shade of red (unintentional dark cupid colour palette go me) cause he's in this for marinette (childhood besties rights)

marc is orange for nathaniel (obvs) and marinette (hc they're cousins)

alix is green for nathaniel and chloé (chlolix fuck you)

and lastly adrien is purple for marinette and chloé (also the irony of him wearing that shade of purple and his dad is hawkmoth. i thought that was pretty funny anyways)

Akumatized Primaries

I just had an idea for my HBBIC AU. What if while Marinette was sending the text to bring The Primaries back, Hawkmoth sent an Akuma that went into her phone? Then once Akumatized into Blue Empress, she sent a signal to Chloé and Nathaniel’s phones that transformed them into Yellow Queen and Red Prince.

Yellow Queen: Heather Chandler-like personality mixed with a little Regina George, making her the perfect Mythic Bitch. She can throw a punch and still look fabulous, all while in a dress and heels. With her whip, she can fling people out of the way and turn them into her loyal Yellow Knights

Red Prince: Loud, unpredictable, bit of a drama king, probably psychic, is constantly smothering and praising his head Knight, and is extremely protective of his loved ones. Using his scepter, he can locate any targets of The Primaries and turn people into his clairvoyant Red Knights

Blue Empress: She’s more of a dictator. Commanding, and always strives for victory, she won’t let anyone stand in her way. If they are, then all hell will break lose. She deals out the punishments using her big-ass sword and turns people into her ruthless Blue Knights

Saving Paris Final Straw

"We head back to Paris tomorrow" Tikki said sadly.

"Yeah we do" Marinette putting the last letter in the last envelope. "China is nice but we have a job." Sliding the envelopes into her bag Marinette moves to hug her dear friend. "We will come back when we defeat howkmoth."

"Hey Claude!" Marinette yells to get the boys attention. She inwardly flinches at how loud her voice got. "Yo Mari what's up" the boy says exactly. "Well it's your birthday today. Allegra said these are your favorite." Marinette does her best to act like her normal self as she hands the box to him. Claude takes the box and pauses for a moment "thanks Mari. Didn't know you did this for the whole school" Marinette laughs "we have a small school and you are kinda new so why not?" Claude made a mental note to ask Allen if Marinette always does these sort of things. Something seems off...

"We should head to class" Marionette points in the direction of her class. "Oh yeah we should thanks again Mari" He says rushing to his class. "Sweet you got a Marinette special!"Allan says almost as soon as Claude enters the room. "Of course he did Nette never forgets a birthday." Allegra states as if it was normal "Happy birthday by the way"

"Wait this is normal? Like I'm not in her class and we aren't friends. How does she even know it's my birthday" Claude asks setting the box on his desk. "Well she is part of the student council so she has basic information on everyone. Like birthdays and allergys. And I asked her one time why she did it. I believe her exact words were "it hurts to be forgotten and a single act of kindness can change everything." Allegra reveals.

"It's not just birthdays dude. If she knows something big has happened good or bad you will find yourself receiving some sort of amazing gift." Allan states and Aurora joins "Yeah when I lost the competition last year she made me a whole outfit to wear to the next competition. I tried to pay her but she refused. When Marc got sick she gave his mom some special soup from her uncle. It made him feel better almost eminently."

"Danm she's amazing." Claude says sitting down. Everyone in the school must have some sort of gratitude or respect for her going so far to help. "Too bad her class does not seem to realize that." Kagami stated with a broken pin in her hand. The entire room goes quiet. Kagami rarely enters conversations before class. The fact she was talking and the angry tone her voice held was not something anyone expected.

Allegra holds a sad look on her face "it is true. At this point I'm scared she will go back to..." Another pin broke. Allan gasped. Aurora made a chocking sound "No way. No way it could get that bad again" Allan then screeched "Hawkmoth that son of-" Kagami throws an eraser at him. "She would do anything for her friends. I have seen her fight off an akuma and manage to keep a butterfly away. I was not able to catch her befor she left as I saw it threw the window." Kagami states looking down. Claude felt even more respect for this girl.

"Look eather way she wouldn't want us having this conversation right now. She would want us to calibrate with Claude." And so they forgot for a while.

An akuma alert rang out around lunch. "My lady may I say you look perrrrfect today" chat says completely ignoring the akuma. "Chat we need to talk once this battle is ove" her voice is so plain no teasing on nothing. Chat nods and the akuma is taken care of quickly.

"Chat... My civilian self has been hurt a lot recently. I nearly became acumatized multiple times. I believe Hawkmoth is targeting me so I-" chat rushes forward to hug her "please don't leave"

Ladybug pushes him away "Chat I can not feel anything. No emotions No pain. It is because of a type of medicine. It only does this to a few but I am one of the few. I have to protect Paris so it had to be done" she swings off befor. Chat can respond.

Marinette sighed as she finishes up some of her commissions. "It is so hard to act it out Tikki. I could not do it as ladybug it would only destact me." Tikki sits on her shoulder nodding sadly. The other kwamis did not take the knees well eather but it was their only choice at this point. Even Plag was considering a new chosen if his did no learn to take things more seriously quickly.

A ring went through the room. "Time for another one." Marinette mumbles picking up the bottle of anxiety meds she used to take so long ago. Marinette has a unique reaction to the meds in that she feels nothing. It's rare and can be fixed by changing meds but Marinette lives in Paris and Paris is under attack by a magical supervillem.

One by one people in the school had special days and were greeted by presents from Marionette. The thing that was different was each presents was accompanied by a letter stating how she felt about the person. Several people were moved to tears by these letters.

"Marc what is wrong?" Aurora notices the look of completely shock and horror. He turns the phone to his classmate who lets out a scream quickly everyone rushes over including Ms. Mendeleiev. As soon as she sees the picture "were is she?" Marc drops his phone "Chloe and Nathaniel bought her to the nurse. She's how you described it Allegra..." Horror spreads through the classroom Kagami leaves not long after. It's silent for a long while... "This is their fault." Allan finely speaks. "Those letters were written befor she started the meds. When did she start the meds again" Aurora whispers. "Befor my birthday she went on that trip" Chaude states.

Allegra moves to the front of the classroom and stands beside Ms. Mendeleiev. "Look we do not know everything but we know Marinette. She would never have gone back on those meds unless she absolutely had too. All we can do is support her. Try to avoid her class we are all too angry. It would only cause problems if we acted right now. Everyone try to stay calm last thing we want is an akuma from this." Allegra takes out some chocolate from the teachers desk and hands it out. One of the ways to avoid akumas is to eat chocolate since it is scientificly proven to make people happy.

Later that day however Aurora overheard a conversation between Mylene and a new girl named who likes to be called Mix.

"Wait if all of the stuff Marinette makes is free then were does the costume money go?" Mix asks while looking over the budgeting from former plays and the current one. "Oh I donate it to charity" Mylene is so excited over explaining the charity that she does not notice the concerned look on Mix face. "I already donated this year's amount-" Mylene is cut of by Mix "but we do not have the costumes yet"

"It will be fine. Marinette can handle it" Mylene responds "Mix could you come help me fix some props" Aurora yells from were she is messing with tangled up Christmas lights. "Yeah no problem" Mix rushes over happy to be out of that situation. "Go along with what I say. We need out of hear quick." Auroror whispers. Mix nods. "Dang these lights are busted let's look for Mr. Bernard." Auroror says loud enough for most of the group to hear. "Yeah let's go" Mix says and they leave quickly.

"Fred Haprèle, my apologies about the abrupt meeting" Mr. Bernard sits down across from the father and daughter.

"It's no problem at all to come assist with anything my daughter may need." The man says.

"Yes well as you know Mylene has taken most of the response ability for costumes. We have a budget so there is always a good few hundred dollars. I have always wondered how she got designer cloths for that price though. I figured she worked out a dill with the maker since is a school event. It appears I was mistaken" Mr. Bernard pauses. How exactly do you tell someone their daughter stole to move up in a charity organizations? Of course Mylene winds up proudly explaining everything was free so she donated the money and moved up so many levels.

"You what?" The man stares at his daughter flabbergasted. "It appears she has also already done so this year as well." Mr Bernard states feeling bad for the mad.

"What the hell Mylene that is not your money to give away! Do not tell me your friend refused the money I have seen your plays. They trusted you with a huge responsibly and you do this" Fred Haprèle yells standing up. Only then does his daughter have the understanding to look ashamed. "But it went to charit-" "no it went were you thought you could gain the most from. We are leaving. Mr. Bernard please call me when it is figured out how much is owed and apologize to Marinette for me. She is the one that makes the costumes she is in the same class as Mylene."

Aurora and Mix later found out Mylene was pulled from Drama club until she could pay everything back. The next day they started planing extra fundraisers so they could afford costumes. Marinette at some point popped by and said she would design them for free but the club refused and eventually settled for whatever they could raise would go to Marinette.

Once the school found out about the drama more than Ms. Mendeleiev class started to distance themselves from the akuma class. Only exceptions being Marinette, Chloe, and, Nathaniel. When Marinette was not in class she was accompanied by people from other classes. They respect Marinette and her class was down right toxic. They tried to trip her regularly and said things under their breath a lot. After so many students expressed their concern for the girl in pink it was a matter of time before she transferred classes. It sucked the other teachers how Caline Bustier tried to fight it saying she was the class representative so she had to stay. Going as far as to try to guilt trip the girl. Too bad she couldn't feel guilt and Lila was all to glad to take the position from her. Some reports were made that day.

Though each class wanted the bluenette in their class it was decided she would transfer into Ms. Mendeleiev class.

"I got back on the meds because Hawkmoth is targeting me because of my strong sympathy." Marinette had long since figured out that they knew and just decided to answer their unasked question. The chalk in Ms. Mendeleiev hand shaped. Kagami created a crack in her desk. Allan popped the bouncy ball he was playing with. Auroror and Alegra stood up to get chocolate quicker then they ever had befor. Claude held his hands together to keep from lashing out. Marinette has been through enough they all thought as she lead them through breathing exsersizes.

That is how an entire school minus the akuma class and Marinette stormed the Agrest mansion after a month of tracking every akuma and documenting Lila working with Hawkmoth. They happily hand over the jewelry and footage to Queen Bee and (Nathaniel) Foxi.

The school watches in amusement as the akuma class falls apart. Marinette does no extra favors for them. Only birthday gifts. Her new friends show her her worth.

"Adrain she was never your everyday ladybug. She is everyone's everyday ladybug. She is the reason Hawkmoth is gone. You are lucky she pulled those favors to make sure people don't think you are like your dad" Chloe snaps. "She what-" Adrian starts. "Oh you idiot do you really think the media would not destroy you if given the chance? MDC is Marinette. A lot of people respect her and owe her a lot. Her word alone could end someone's career yet she chose to protect you and your stupid class. Wish Alya good luck with the lawsuits by the way. The warning ends soon. She she really listen to her lawyer when told to remove posts within 24 hours."

You know what bugs me? The maribat fandom gets a lot of hate for salt (yeah there are heavy ones out there, but people are actually getting better about it). But mlb fandom is just as guilty?? I have seen fics without any dc character even mentioned that are just salty as all hell. I have seen it with every ship involved. You see it with Adrinette, Lukanette, Kagaminette, and so on and so forth. (Hello? HBIC au?) Nobody is innocent in this, and it's time for people to stop acting like they are.

The maribat fandom worked their ass off for their placement. Maribat is not some punching bag to get frustrations over placement out on. That's not right. You don't need to send hate, or leave hate. That makes you just as bad as the fics you are complaining about, maybe you should think about that.

Let's all remember that these are real people. They have feelings. Knocking them down for writing fanfiction is so ridiculous. Fandom crossovers have been around for the longest time. Get over yourselves, block the tag, and move on with your life. This is the real world, you're not going to get what you want no matter the amount of hate you send.

Now, this is not me sending hate to the authors who write it. This is me proving a point. I'm tired of seeing the unneccessary hate, so I'm saying something. Everyone keep writing what you are, I hope you have good writing and no hate! That goes for every fandom and every ship! ❤

Chapter 3:  The Preparations

The next day at school went fine, in standards of Collège Françoise Dupont. The place had gone downhill over the years. Lila was still the reigning "queen", she still had all of her posies, and the true rulers of the school had still not come forward. Mireille sighed to herself, leaning against the railing on the upper balcony. Most of the school knew Lila was lying, so why couldn't the Akuma class realize that? Aurore came over to her with a coffee in hand, offering a smile. Mireille took it with a small smile, taking a sip from it. 

"They still haven't realized?" Aurore questioned before taking a sip of her own coffee. 

"Nope," Mireille replied, popping her p, "not even that wannabe reporter girl has figured it out."

The girls shook their heads, giggling a bit at the fact they were in sync. They had been dating since getting over the Stormy Weather incident, Aurore still feeling the need to continue apologizing. They had been close before that incident, thanks to being a part of the Royal Shades, but until that year, they've never been in a relationship with one another. 

"Oh look, Marinette's here," Aurore said, snapping Mireille's attention to the front of the school. Marinette made eye contact with them, before smiling and making her way up the stairs to them. 

"Hey girls, can I speak with you guys real quick?" Marinette asked.

"Of course, at The Spot?" Aurora replied.

"Yes, make sure there's no one else. We have some developments," Marinette said before waving to them as she left.

The Spot had been a place that the Color Court had found in the school, an old classroom that hardly ever gets used. It had become the unofficial school meeting room of the Color Court, even teachers knew to stay away from it. It was a small room, in a corner hallway. You wouldn't even know it was there unless you were looking. Kim had found it once when he was wandering the school looking for his new classroom. 

The girls continued to talk and gossip until the bell rang, signaling that they had to go to class. But they knew that at lunch, the biggest scoop was about to come in.

Nino was on a mission. He had to find his girlfriend and have a serious talk with her. Mentally preparing himself for the fallout, he walked into the locker room to find Alya and Lila talking. Frowning to himself, he made his way over. Alya's face lit up as she saw her boyfriend make his way to them. Lila on the other hand had a scowl that could kill, but instantly changed her expression when Alya looked back at her. Nino caught her face but chose to not mention it at this point. He turned his attention to his girlfriend, taking her hand. 

"Hey babe, could we talk real quick?" Nino asked, turning his face to Lila, "alone please?"

"Sure, what's up?" Alya asked.

"I'll tell you when we're alone ok," Nino said again, pointing a look at Lila.

"Lila, could you leave so I can talk with Nino?" Alya asked, turning her attention to the Italian. 

"Oh, of course. See you in class bestie," Lila replied, giving Nino a look before walking off. 

"So what did you want to talk about?" Alya asked, turning towards Nino once more. 

"It's about Lila."

Marinette, Chloé, and Nathaniel had agreed not to mingle in public, to keep the appearance that nothing was going on. Oh, how naive the school was. A storm was brewing, and they did not know it. 

Marinette got to the classroom, where she was immediately met with Juleka and Rose. Smiling at them, she walked to her seat in the back of the classroom. Juleka and Rose followed her, everyone else took to ignoring them. 

"The Spot, lunchtime."

Juleka gave a knowing nod, while Rose instantly hugged Marinette.

"I'm sorry we didn't say anything sooner. We were so scared of what Lila would have done," was all Rose said, trying not to cry. 

"Hey it's ok, you guys are here now, it's not like Lila has her hands on you," Marinette responded, comforting Rose. 

Their hug was cut by Lila walking into the room. Most of the class immediately got around her desk, listening to her stories. Marinette leaned closer to Juleka and Rose, whispering two words.

"Magenta, Pixie."

"What do you mean Nino?" Alya asked in pure disbelief, "Lila would never do something like that! Marinette is the jealous one who is bullying her!"

"I know it's hard to believe babe, Lila has been feeding this victim lie into you kind for so long, but I am telling the truth. I would never lie to you babe," Nino responded, almost pleading with her to believe him. 

"No! Marinette is the bully! She is jealous of Adrien liking Lila over her!" Alya retorted. How dare her boyfriend accuse a victim of bullying!

"Babe. I am telling the truth," Nino repeated, quieter this time. 

"No, no you aren't. I can't believe you are defending a bully! You aren't the same person I fell in love with!" Alya responded. 

Nino stood there, silent for a second, before shaking his head in disbelief. "No Alya. I haven't changed. But you definitely have, I'm sorry but I can not continue this relationship if you believe I am lying about something as serious as this. We're done Alya, you're not the same anymore."

And with that, Nino walked away from Alya, leaving her in shock. Alya stood there, replaying the conversation over and over in her head. The bell ringing pulled her out of her thoughts. 'Nino was wrong,' she thought to herself, 'Lila would never lie. He'd realize that and come back to her, he had to.' Alya headed to class, making herself believe that it wasn't true, Nino couldn't be done with her.

Class came and went, as the bell for lunch rang. While everyone made their way to the cafeteria, courtyard, or home, a group of students disappeared to an unknown room. The classroom was small, with a single table in the center with ten different colored chairs around it. Several other chairs were laid out around the room, for any guests who were possibly invited to the meetings. A corkboard hung on one of the walls, currently only holding old papers and notes. On the wall opposite to it was a dry erase board. The place wasn't covered in a layer of dust as expected, the janitor must have come in for cleaning. If he did, he never moved anything around. 

At the table were several dishes of food, as the meeting was expected to cover all of the lunch period. Chloé sat in her yellow chairs, placed at the left side of the blue chair. Nino was next to her, in a green chair. Max at his side, in his purple chair. Kim was in an orange chair, Mireille in a pink chair, Aurore in a teal chair, and Rose and Juleka were in their respective pixie and magenta chairs. Nathaniel sat in his red chair, looking at the door. Everyone was waiting for Marinette to show up, no doubt having ran into an issue. Marc and Sabrina sat in some extra chairs behind their partners. Sabrina was scrolling through her tablet, gathering information. 

The door finally opened up, an out of breath Marinette in its frame. Closing the door behind her, she sat in the final chair, the blue chair. 

"Sorry about that, I had to shake some people."

The meeting was finally in session, as Sabrina stood up and walked to the dry erase board, uncapping her marker. On the board she wrote out Lila's name, before making several lines leading from it. 

"As we know, Lila is a huge liar. Since the day she came here, she has claimed to do Go Green campaigns with Prince Ali, had saved Jagged Stones kitten from a tarmac, that Clara Nightingale took her dance moves and claimed them as her own, and that she was a descendant of the Fox Hero, Volpina," Sabrina said, writing as she went, "were there anymore lies?"

"She claimed she knew a lot of movie and music producers in Hollywood."

"I'm pretty sure that her two month trip to Achu was a lie."

"Are we even sure her mom is an ambassador?"

"She lies about Marinette every day!"

The list grew and grew as people started voicing their doubts into the air. Max was typing away on his laptop, likely researching several points everyone was making. Marinette stood up, silencing everyone in the room. She walked over to the board, taking the marker from Sabrina. On the board, she wrote down 'Claiming to be besties with Ladybug.'

The room remained silent, this girl seriously lied about being friends with a hero. The single thing Ladybug is against doing. 

"How did you find that out?" Max asked. 

"Ladybug came down and confronted her about it, Adrien was there," Marinette responded.

"How did you find out?" Kim asked, having a look on his face. 

"Lila had taken a book from him, it's what got Adrien pulled from school for a bit. I had retrieved the book when I heard her talking about Ladybug and her being Volpina. Then Ladybug jumped into the conversation, debunking everything in front of me and Adrien," Marinette explained.

"Adrien knew all along!" Nino shouted in surprise. 

"Yes."

"Why didn't he say anything!"

"We should bring him into these meetings!" 

"He may be able to help."

Marinette raised her hand to silence everyone, "As much as I would like to bring Adrien into the group. He has hurt me by telling me to take the high road. I forgive him as I understand why he would say it, but I am waiting for his apology before I bring him into the group."

There were understanding glances, however, Nino looked hurt over the news. His best bro knew and never said a thing. 

The meeting was interrupted by several screams. Kim immediately went to the door, opening it to see several students running from an akuma. 

"Meetings adjourned for today!"

Ladybug swung onto the scene. Chat Noir was already there, fighting the akuma. The akuma was a girl, with bleeding heart designs over her chest and back. The suit was mostly black, red, white, and pink. Black tear marks ran down the porcelain doll like face, with curly brown hair coming from the top. The weapon was her phone, which she used to bring lies out from people. 

"Who are we dealing with?" Ladybug asked, as Chat Noir was thrown to her side. 

"She calls herself the Broken Truth," Chat Noir groaned as Ladybug helped him up. 

"What caused her akumaization?"

"Her boyfriend broke up with her over what she says is lies. Can't find the ex, but that's all we have for now."

"Then let's get this over with."

The Broken Truth, that's one mouthful of a name, turned her attention to the hero duo. Holding her phone up, she sent out a beam to the heroes. Dodging the beam, Ladybug and Chat Noir quickly got behind a pillar. 

"We need another hero for this. Likely something that can restrain her," Ladybug said, already opening her yoyo. 

"So the bee miraculous?" Chat Noir asked.

"It's our only option. Hold her off while I go get Queen Bee," Ladybug said before jumping off. Chat Noir saluted to her, before returning his attention to The Broken Truth.

Ladybug found Chloé hiding out in the hallway near the classroom. She ran up to her, holding out the bee miraculous. 

"Chloé, we need your help to defeat this akuma."

Chloé looked back at her in a state of shock. Quickly recovering, she retorted back "I thought you said I could never be Queen Bee again."

"Well, we had a change in plans. Do you accept?"

"Hell yeah."

Ladybug and Queen Bee landed back in the courtyard, where Chat Noir was almost hit by the beam. Ladybug summoned her lucky charm, turning out to be a simple ball. This was gonna be an easy fight to finish up. 

Queen Bee summoned her stinger, striking the akuma in the back as she was distracted by Chat Noir. Chat Noir ran forward, using cataclysm on the phone. The butterfly flew out, as Ladybug swung her yoyo to catch it. Purifying the butterfly, she flung her lucky charm into the air, reversing all damage done. 

In front of them sat a sad Alya, who was looking at an old photo on her phone. It depicted her and Nino on a date, two big smiles staring back at her. Ladybug walked over to her, crouching next to her.

"Everything ok Ladyblogger?"

Alya burst into tears, hugging Ladybug. Ladybug was in shock but hugged her back. 

"My, my boyfriend broke up with me. And, and I don't know what to believe anymore with it," is all she said before being put back to sniffles and tears. 

"Well, while I am not best with relationships. I believe it is best you give him some space for now. And maybe do some self reflecting, then you two would be able to talk it all out," Ladybug responded, pulling from the hug. 

Alya nodded, looking up at the hero, "Thank you Ladybug."

"Anytime. Now, gotta go. Bug out," and with that, Ladybug swung off to a nearby building, where Chat Noir was waiting. He handed her back the bee miraculous, Chloé having taken it off after the battle. 

"Hey LB, can we talk tonight during patrol. I have a really big favor to ask of you," Chat Noir said. 

"As long as it's not a date proposal, sure," she responded as she returned the bee miraculous to her yoyo. 

"Trust me, it's not. It's something very important. I fucked up with something in my civilian life and I need some advice."

Ladybug looked at him with a soft smile, "Of course I'll help you, silly kitty. Now, I gotta run before I transform back. See you tonight!" And with that, she swung away.

Marinette ran up to Ms. Bustier's classroom, late once more. The lunch period had already passed, meaning that the court will have to pick up the topic later. 

She made her way up quietly to the back of the classroom, passing a depressed looking Alya. Grimacing to herself, she knew the breakup had to do with Lila's lies. 

She wished she could help her ex-best friend, but there's only so much you could do for people.

Patrol went well that night, with the heroes ending it off laying on the observation deck of the Eiffel Tower. Paris's lights shimmered in the background, as the stars were made invisible by their light pollution. 

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Ladybug asked, taking a bite from the leftover pastries she brought from home. 

"Well. I really need to know how to apologize," Chat Noir started hesitantly. Upon seeing his lady was listening, he continued. "Not going into detail, but I never had the best home life, especially socially growing up. I didn't have many friends, so I never really learned how to say sorry. Especially for a big fuck up like what this situation is."

"What happened to cause the fuck up? Vague to avoid identities," Ladybug asked. 

"A few months ago," Chat Noir began, "a new girl came to school. She was instantly liked, but I soon found out it was all lies she was telling. Well, she was targeting a friend of mine with hero lies, and of course, the dumb advice I gave her was to take the high road. It always worked for me, because I was never hurt by lies before. However, my friend was hurting because of her lies, and I was too oblivious to see it. And now I don't know how to apologize to her."

Ladybug sat in silence. That situation sounded so similar to her's and Adrien's situation with Lila. Pushing the possibility of Chat Noir being Adrien awayy, she sat up and faced Chat Noir. 

"If I were your friend. I would like for you to be sincere about your apology. Admit what you did was wrong and why it was wrong. I'm sure your friend would accept it. As for moving on from that, support them. Stand by their side when they are being bullied, help them deal with the effects of it. And for giving the apology, do it somewhere private. It would show that you aren't doing it for cookie points about being a good person. It shows that you care about making things right."

Chat Noir sat there in silence, taking in everything Ladybug had just said. Smiling, he hugged her. 

"Thank you so much. Your help means so much to me LB."

Ladybug smiled, hugging him back. The two sat there, embracing each other. After a while they pulled apart, packing up everything they had with them. They said their goodbyes and headed off to their homes.

Adrien landed in his room, immediately flopping on his bed. Plagg shot over to his cheese stash, gobbling the wheels like the glutton he is. Adrien laid there, smiling like an idiot. Plagg looked over at him with a questioning look on his face. 

"I'm apologizing to Marinette tomorrow."

MLB HBIC AU

so I came across a wonderful au about a month ago and spent approximately a week reading fic after fic of it and i got inspired to write my own!!

i've been meaning to draw this up for a while cause I need to work out the colour combos on who should get which one. many of the fics I read had chloé in yellow, marinette in blue and nathaniel in red and while yeah, they look pretty good, I decided to switch it up a little

I looked into some colour meanings after finishing this as well and it fits the vibe I want for them in the fic so:

chloé and blue - blue is associated with calm, tranquility, security and also sadness. in this au, chloé became the character that she is in season 1 because of her mother's influence and in an attempt to be more like her so her mother will actually pay some attention to her ig, she changed to wearing yellow as audrey preferred it over blue. Chloe's always been the hbic but she'd pulled back a bit in the lead up to the fic as she kinda went from getting rid of horrible people to just having them wrapped around her little finger (idk I'm still working all the details out and this is prone to change anyways). As for design, I've taken inspiration from her concept art with the striped shorts and the shoes.

marinette and red - red often means power, aggressiveness, passion, etc. this is mainly a power move cause guess what? ladybug doesn't exist in this au. instead we have Anatis and Grimalkin (more on them in future but you can start guessing on who you might think they are) and marinette (as inspired by the Zhímíng Baoshí series on ao3) is basically part of a mafia along with Marc and Kim (Kim's bit is from yet another fic - Red Queen I think??) anyways we been knew she looks good in red and don't worry, she's as badass as ever. Her top is inspired by a cheongsam which I'm like 90% sure is what Sabine wears and I put her in a skirt cause skirts and docs are a vibe. also ponytail cause she looks cute with one.

nathaniel and yellow - this one was the most interesting cause yellow is normally associated with warmth and happiness but I also learnt that it actually makes people angry??? like you're more likely to get angry in a yellow room and babies cry easier in a yellow room?? who knew? because of this, I found that it fits him pretty well cause I'm lowkey on board with the 'nathaniel has anger issues hc' (mainly seen in evillustrator and reverser). I'm still working out his reasons for joining the trio but I do have some stuff for him, just needs to be fine-tuned is all. I was sceptical and actually least enthusiastic about this choice before I drew it cause I didn't want him looking like ronald mcdonald lmao but I think it's the bold colour and lack of stripes that make it work. my dude's an art bi so cuffed, ripped jeans and turtleneck.
