Tried new can covers on the MKVII wearable computer.

Alien was an obvious choice, due to the availability of fan art. I laser printed clear plastic, then masked and spray painted the colors. Laser prints never 'pop' like real paint.

I was very happy with the results, and was able to use the 'semiotic standard' symbols to label the computer, bluetooth, video transmitter, and right/left switches (you can't see the switches for all the computer functions on the bottoms of the cans).

A FIM 120 évét ünnepelték a 2024-es lyoni Salon du 2 Roues kiállításon

A franciaországi Eurexpo Lyonban megrendezett Salon du 2 Roues nagy sikert aratott: a március 7-10. közötti négy nap alatt több mint 150 000 látogatót fogadott. A Nemzetközi Motorkerékpáros Szövetség (FIM) első alkalommal volt jelen több mint 300 m2-es kiállítótérrel. A Spirit of Speed a Történelmi Országúti Motorkerékpárok Európai Gyűjtőklubjával közösen több mint harminc motorkerékpárt választott ki 1904-től napjainkig, amelyek a FIM 120 történetét ölelték fel. A lelátó zsúfolásig megtelt a nézőkkel a számukra szentelt pillanatok alatt, olyan bajnokok jelenlétében, mint Giacomo Agostini, a tizenötszörös FIM Grand Prix világbajnok, James Toseland, a kétszeres FIM Superbike világbajnok, a kétszeres FIM Supersport világbajnok Sebastien Charpentier, Eugene Laverty, a korábbi 250cc, MotoGP, Supersport és WorldSBK versenyző, valamint Greg Black és Etienne Masson többszörös FIM Endurance világbajnokok. Végül pedig a francia versenyzőnők, Emily Bondi és Ornella Ongaro, akik részt vesznek a FIM Női Körverseny Világbajnokságon, amely június 16-án kezdődik Misano Adriaticóban (Olaszországban), . Nagy érdeklődést váltott ki a Nemzetközi Motorkerékpáros Szövetség 120. évfordulóján elindított Örökség program, a FIM versenymotorok tanúsítása. A FIM által kiadott tanúsítvány lehetőséget ad a gyűjtőknek, hogy megszerezzék az azonosító táblát, amely igazolja a motorkerékpár eredetiségét, szigorúan valamelyik következő versenyekről származik: MotoGP, Superbike, Supersport, Endurance, Formula, Sidecar és Landspeed rekord. why is it that blitz says how emilie made him better but if you bring him along to like. runs on multiple occasions does stuff he doesn't need to do (showing that guy the last episode of his show? getting rid of a log that would've gotten those engineers in hot water and probably fired. and staying once he finds out about apex?) like. i would consider that good things. the only issue is that he gets ahead of himself but the one time he does jump the gun and (an option of it. cause its during the mkvii run) you tell him to not do that? he doesn't???? really argue...?

like one of the things i wont understand that I've seen. is completing blitz's personal quest and seeing how terrible Emilie is to him (she leaves without telling him anything just to not go after her once she steals from him, and she insults him when he gets close to finding her) and come out of that. liking emilie. i hate her. genuinely. like as an observation- for a former drug ganger. blitz is pretty decent. not kind exactly but considering y'know. he sold out his old gang...? (and imprisoned in the kesselhaus but im not getting into that rn) hes not like. at all bad. hes pretty nice? yknow considering- again.

like. i get that finishing the personal quests both have good and bad endings and the good ones are obv ideal, but the good ending for blitz's is him and emilie staying together because her run on whatever was a success. but i never finished blitz's personal quest. i made him quit because i know he can do better and find somebody better. weird as fuck she calls him lukas before she calls him by blitz. maybe thats just me but contacting who hes running with and saying his name before the name you've been knowing him as is a little weird? to me? it rubs me the wrong way. but- i never finished his personal quest because i didn't want blitz to stay in that relationship with Emilie bc it was so shitty. in the bad ending you tell him how his relationship with emilie was toxic and he doesn't wanna believe you either. it is though. cause who the fuck goes missing w/o telling them where your going, steals from and insults their partner when they keep trying to find you. thats fucked up! thats horrible. i know blitz can do better and i want him to find someone who is.

maybe thats just me though. just kinda an observation I made when I played dragonfall and when I go through the lets play archive for it. for a guy who was raised essentially by gangers blitz is a pretty decent person and him saying how Emilie made him a good person breaks my heart. cause i know for a godamn fact it ain't true.

Cont… (Pt. 5/9) I whizzed through all the ‘scenes’ and ‘special effects’ the camera offered - I’d owned the Sony RX100 MKVII for THREE years before I checked out Sony’s BW setting, and LOVED it - I wasn’t about to make the same mistake twice. But no, they kinda all made me cringe, and then giggle: Not all things retro are good… I tried the ‘Auto’ setting, and fair play, it was a swift lesson in just how terrible the camera was when faced with a broad dynamic spectrum. Heh. I played around with the P/Program mode for a few days. No-matter what settings I tweaked, light metering etc, it still erred to Near-Death-Experience-White-Light over-exposure. The inaccuracy of the rear display didn’t help, And the histogram, which was available, didn’t come with a magnifying glass, also needed. I dug into the push button, electronic menu settings and found - Aperture Priority - Shutter Priority - And OMG, I love you (rush not, fool!) Manual option ... ❣️ Whilst Manual was an immediate infatuation, discovering that I needed, via a seriously tiny button, right-beside-other-seriously-tiny-buttons, -press it to click through 8 steps to set aperture (3.2 - 7.3) -and a whopping 31 presses - after a press to get to shutter speed - where was I? - a whopping 31 clicks between 16 seconds and 1/2000th of a second to set the shutter… That’s scary enough but manual or shutter priority photographers will indubitably join me in the 1/2000th top shutter speed, no ND, f7.3 max aperture “eeks!”😣 Granted, and I’ll own it, I’ve been spoilt with the Ricoh GRIII which starts in 0.5 of a second AND takes the shot.
