We're here to host a Danganronpa/Killing Game style roleplay hosted on Discord with a twist- our cast are all object characters!

Here's the deal.

A minimum of 14, maximum of 18 player cast with traitor and mastermind roles available- as well as a host, cohost, and two player characters played by the mods!

Spectators are absolutely welcome- just clarify to the mods!

Six chapters with trials, along with a prologue and epilogue!

Freetime and side events!

All large events, such as character deaths, will be fully illustrated!

Flexible scheduling to work along with people's IRL business!

Please keep in mind, the story is heavily OSC character inspired. Your character is required to be an object OC. No exceptions.

Your grubby soul has been tied to Wormwood, and now it’s too late.

Deusopia: The Wormwood Massacre is an upcoming 18+ horror MKG RP inspired by Hypermall, Fear and Hunger: Termina, Monster of the Week, and Silent Hill. Eighteen people, whether by train, foot, car, or bike, ended up walking through the gates of the foggy town of Wormwood - none of them intended to visit, but the town has wrapped its tendrils around them, and not even death can sever the ties. Deusopia, run by Ollie (@bandtrees), Sammi (@sammisafetypin), and Zephyr (@princealberich), will feature a cast of eighteen characters, from teenagers to grown adults, chosen by the Elite Star Agency as the “Elite” prodigies in their field - however, before the semester can begin, they’re trapped in a town that exists on no maps… and follows no human, or divine, rules. Only with blood can the chains of Wormwood be rusted, then broken. Deusopia features queue trials, player-based lore, and afterlife mechanics, for people who’ve been on the lookout for grimmer, horror-inspired killing games. Major themes will include body horror, gore, paranoia, and loss of cognitive function, as in Wormwood, death is not the end, but a gruesome opportunity.

In Rememberance

The latest streamed-only talk show host walked out onto the stage! A name you all knew and loved: Gladys Merriweather. She’d taken the media by a storm despite her older age and sudden entrance into the entertainment industry, but she’d gained fame for her charming, yet gentle interviews with the guests of her choice. And today, she had some particularly special guests indeed.

Seated in three of her cozy armchairs on her cottage-themed set, sat the great witches Whimsy, Root, and Treat, though… well. Whimsy levitated above their seat rather than sitting in it, like the show-off they’d made themself known to be, and Root also seemed as though they were beginning to doze off already as they sat.

“Thanks for responding to my request, grand witches,” Gladys smiled, setting aside her cup of tea on a doily. “I wanted to ask you for your opinion on one of your former colleagues today. The world has just begun to mourn the loss of Trick, for the little time we had known her, so why don’t you tell me your thoughts on the matter. Were you close?”

"Ah, yes! I was one of her longtime apprentices, from ever since I was younger. She cared for Trouble and I for most of our lives as our guardian, even, and taught me almost everything I know,” Treat explained. She was his MOM-

“Yep! I got to meet this kiddo when he was just a wee piglet!” 

Whimsy reached over and knocked off Treat’s hat, initially ignoring the question about Trick herself. As if only just now realizing this, Whimsy pressed their fist in their palm as Treat picked up his hat with a small laugh. 

“Trick! Right. We collaborated on research sometimes. As the second oldest witch back when I turned, she gave me a lot of guidance back then, too. She was cool, I guess? Put up with a lot of my wackadoodles.”

“She was a kind of a b[LEEP]…,” Root mumbled sleepily.

Gladys covered her mouth in mild surprise. “I suppose we’ll have to censor that in post.” She chuckled before taking another sip of her tea. “So you all have rather varying opinions of her, hm? Does that variance in opinion apply to her contributions to the magical world, too?”

Root grumbled quietly at that before they sighed and gave a more dignified response. 

“She was one of the other great witches who formed the liminal space networks in the later 1700s to give apprentices more protection. Spearheaded it even because of some girl she lost in the witch trials. Did a lot of stuff for plant life too, I guess.”

Whimsy waved their hand flippantly. “All witches have their own pet projects, y’know? She did a lot for keeping endangered plants alive, reintroducing things that previously went extinct, yadda yadda. All that stuff went unnoticed when it came to the one who made it, even if biggy scientists all had a field day over it.”

Gladys beamed, seemingly pleased with getting a more solidified answer in comparison to her previous inquiry. “Perhaps I can ask some scientists later about their own feelings on it. So, I must ask, is there anything you’ve done as a form of remembrance to her? Like a memorial statue or a ritual.”

“Oh! No, nothing like that, but she does have a memory painting of her in the manor still,” Treat muses. “Great witches don’t leave a body behind when they pass on their power, but we did make a grave for her in memorial back home anyways, as a private affair.”

Gladys nodded and removed her hat, holding it to her chest in a brief silence. Treat blinked in confusion at the gesture but followed suit with his own. Whimsy chuckled and 100% left their crown on their head. Root’s own crown was less removed and more dislodged, as they officially fell asleep, snoring softly.

“And on that note,” Gladys finally continued, “Our correspondent, Davis, went out on the scene to talk to various knowledgeable officials about her contributions to events. Here’s to you, Davis.” The shot of the talk show room faded out.

Happy Hollow: Mellow Marsh is a tumblr submission trials game with Discord ooc and a Discord thread server, and the sequel game to Happy Hollow. This game is 18+ with the exception of returning players. We will be accepting a cast of 16-18 people including mod ocs, and characters should be aged 16-24. The events of the previous game are not public knowledge to characters, so catching up on the last game is not necessary!

Ah, it appears to be from Tseng Corporations, a tech giant rather famous for being owned and ran by the family that began it all, by keeping it solely within the bloodline... but whatever could they want from you?

It's a call for help, more than anything. A daughter that has shown a drastic change in behavior, and parents who simply want their daughter to get better, for her sake and theirs... and they're asking you to be her friend. What a strange request. Nonetheless, they're offering whatever you want in return: money, success... anything, truly. As long as you can make friends with their daughter, they don't seem to care...

Limited Insight

It had been some odd years since magic had been revealed at this point: two and a half? Three? Somewhere in that range, but seeing witches on talk shows still drew in marvelous ratings. Thus, unsurprisingly, Gladys Merriweather once again managed to bring a group of witches onto her set, though for an entirely different topic.

Holding a cane in one hand and a pot of coffee in the other, Gladys poured coffee into mugs for each of her guests for the day: Trouble, Beacon, and Sigil. Beacon lightly tapped her own cane to Gladys’s as a small greeting between old women before picking up her coffee mug, snapping, and turning it into warm apple cider, instead. “Oooh, fancy,” Gladys marveled before sitting down in her armchair.

“It’s lovely to have all of you back, isn’t it? This is the first time this particular combination of people have sat in these chairs, right?” She flashed a smile and adjusted the doily on her desk idly. “The last time I saw the three of you together, Hex had actually shown up to one of your conferences, didn’t he? He’s an unusual sight to see out in public. Is it difficult to get him to leave his domain?” Not that she wanted to sew discord. It simply was a common question on the internet. ‘What a mysterious man.’

Trouble, recognising that she’d likely know most about the subject of Hex but not wanting to be particularly helpful, flicks one of her cat ears in annoyance before giving her response.

“He doesn’t leave often, no, and most of the witches have given up on asking him to unless there’s something important. He’d visited Treat and I at our home a few times, especially back when...” Her nose wrinkles in obvious distaste. “Trick was alive, as she knew him best.”

Sigil quirks an eyebrow. 

"There's so much that he could be doing in the now though, yeah? Regardless of if he doesn't want to come outside," he rolls his eyes, "I'm sure lots of people out there would love keeping a witch company for a night - even if it is in a swamp."

Gladys nodded in understanding, closing her eyes in contemplation. “Why do you think he avoids the human realm, then? Is there something he finds distasteful? Perhaps there’s something we can do to make him feel more welcome among us. I, of course, would very much enjoy the chance to speak with him.”

Beacon spoke up this time, slightly adjusting her glasses as she pondered over her answer.

“It’s a bit of an open secret, you see, but the poor boy tends to hold a distrust in humanity as a whole. I don’t believe he’s experienced many of the good facets a human can have, like a warm family reunion with good food. I’ve tried to reach out, but I don’t believe he has any interest in conversation. "Hmmm, well actually, he did pick up that floating girl, Mallory, recently," Sigil waggles his eyebrows. "I'm sure it's not as exciting as it sounds though, considering... Well, its Hex."

Beacon swirled the cider in her mug, staring into it as the liquid flowed inside. Hmm… what did she even have to contribute here? What would she know that others wouldn’t? … Oh! Her glasses gleamed as she perked up in her seat.

“Though I don’t know what he likes, I know his birthday is on February second. I try to send him a sweater or apple pie every year, but he never does respond to it. Maybe he will, one day.”

“...He won’t. Hex has his home’s location hidden from even us for a reason, you know.”

Gladys nodded once more. “So it seems he’s almost just as mysterious to you as he is to us. Perhaps one of our correspondents can also give some added insight. Here’s to you, Davis.”

“Hey, everyone! We’re back with another interview with my friends! This time we’re hanging out at Whimsy’s sky castle, and lemme just say this place is cool as heck!” This YouTube video doesn’t have any intro at all, cold opening with the camera panning around a regal-looking white room.

Completing its 360, the camera alights upon a young woman with short teal hair, futuristic gray clothing, and a witch’s hat. A microphone levitates near her, picking up her words. “As always, I’m Erika Ljunggren, psychic YouTuber and Trouble’s apprentice. Introduce yourselves, you two!”

With a gesture from Erika L’s skinny metal wand, the camera pans over and back to reveal two other women sitting on the couch behind her. The microphone darts over to them as well. A tall brunette with a spiky crown and a shorter woman with a big hat, a scarf, and an apron, both wearing glasses. 

The former gets up from her seat, poses, teleports a few feet in the air and then lands in another pose, loudly announcing in her monotone "I'm the magical girl of the cosmos, Kimoto Erika, apprentice of Whimsy."

The latter, on the other hand, remains in her seat and watches. After giggling quietly at Erika K's antics, she looks back to the camera. "H-Hello... My name is... R-Rada Orlov... I'm... Beacon's apprentice..." She gives a little wave.

Erika L welcomes them both with a grin.

Then, turning to Erika K, the YouTuber asks, “What’s it like apprenticing under Whimsy?”

"It’s lots of fun, and I’m learning lots. I like it here,” she responds “I’m very grateful to Miss Trick, Mr Treat, and Miss Trouble for everything they’ve done for me to be here. And I’m extremely grateful to Boss for giving me this opportunity. The castle is really cool." 

She pauses for a moment, leaning her head back slightly before tipping it forwards once more. "Boss is a really skilled witch, so I've been able to cover a lot of ground under them. I think that I made the best choice for me." The corners of her lips quirk upwards into a slight smile.

Erika L then turns to Rada, the microphone moving gently over with her gaze. “What’s it like apprenticing under Beacon?”

"It's been... r-really nice... Granny Beacon is... a-amazing..." Rada fidgets with end of her scarf, drawing the long material up into her lap. "I, um... u-used to be... m-more nervous... than I am now and... s-scared of a lot... of different things... b-but... sh-she's been... very patient with me... a-and she's taught me... a lot... b-both as an apprentice... a-and as a person..."

“What have the two of you been up to lately, magic-wise? Any fun projects in the works?” asks Erika L.

Erika K hums, holding her hands up, index fingers and thumbs pointing outwards towards the ceiling far corners. "I’ve been experimenting with combo-ing my elements. Trying to get them working together can be a bit tricky, depending on which ones I'm trying with. I’ll get there eventually though." 

Flicking her wrists, her hands now spread fully chop down diagonally. "Also, with Mr Elliot’s help, I’ve forged a holy blade that shimmers with stardust." She leans forwards and holds a hand up beside her mouth dropping her voice just slightly. "When the goddesses approve of a strike it deals extra secret damage."

"I've also been... practicing with... combining elements..." Rada adds, nodding along with what Erika K says. "It can... b-be difficult... but also fun... seeing what kind... of different effects... are possible... i-if you just... put your mind to it..."

"A-As for, um, projects... I don't think... a-anything I'm doing is... a-as exciting as Miss Kimoto, but..." Rada bites her bottom lip for a moment in hesitation before continuing. "I've, um... I've been working on... a spell that... m-makes it easier for... spirits to communicate with... a-and interact with... th-their loved ones...  s-so that a ghost... a-and their family or friends... h-have a chance... to grieve together... Th-Then they can... pass on peacefully... a-and the people still living... h-have closure..."

“I mean, that’s pretty cool too! Just, y’know, in a different way!” Erika L nods approvingly. “Speaking of elements and combos thereof, what are your favorites that you've learned so far?”

Erika K steeples her fingers and places her elbows on her knees, resting her chin on her hands as she leans forwards. "Mh.... I think I still like Celestial best. I think it’s always going to be my favourite, there's so much you can do with it. But teleporting has been really handy too. Trying to combine both with Space for Special Warping is a bit trickier, but I’m failing good so I can figure it out. I like all the magic I've learnt though, Earth makes me feel like a strong bender from the western eastern based anime. I'm hoping to try and see if sand and metal still fall under its belt or if I'll need to expand my roster first." 

The mic darts back to Rada. "I, um... r-really like working with Emotion magic... a-and I'm having a lot of fun with Music magic as well... Combining the two together... c-can be powerful... e-emotionally, that is, um... s-since music can... affect people... so much... A-Although Music and... L-Life magic is... a-also fun... l-like in, um... th-the cartoon with... th-the magic mouse... a-and the mops..." She tugs up the edge of her scarf, looking embarrassed. Way to out yourself for recreating The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Rada.

Erika K murmurs a little "I know that western anime," nodding along with Rada's words. She leans back into her seat, her lips quirking into a smile. "Death magic is still just a bud, but thanks to Rada I'd already started thinking of the sort of expanded uses for it. I even know some I wouldn't have thought of beforehand. I think learning a magic that one of us has already learnt is extra fun because it means we get to work together, and with peer reviews and sessions we can learn faster and better. And we get to hang out at the same time."

Although Rada’s mouth is covered, the corners of her eyes crinkle with a smile as Erika K talks about Death magic. "Y-Yes... I like... h-having magic... w-we can both do... I-It's a lot... easier to learn things... wh-when we're working together... a-and think of things... th-that I wouldn't consider... o-on my own..." Rada shifts in place before continuing. "I have a... b-better understanding of it... s-since starting to learn... Life magic... I-It's not as... s-scary or violent... It's... natural..." She adds, feeling like she needs to defend it.

Another nod from the interviewer. “Nice, nice! There’s so many elements out there, and each one is so versatile! And that’s not even everything a witch has at their disposal, either. Tell me about your wands!”

Shifting her posture into something more alert, Erika K claps once, a big smile on her face. She opens her purse and pulls her wand out. The act itself is comical, with the contrast in the size of the wand versus the purse itself. Thank you Space Magic. She balances the wand on her flat palms above her head, smiling brightly. 

"Last Laugh is super cool. I can fly on it, it has a detachable strap for easy carrying, and it makes a really good prop for physical comedy. It's got really good range as a prop, and it's nice and sturdy. Plus I can do this with it-" Hopping out of her seat she begins to twirl the gun shaped wand around, although for only a short while. Once done she drops back down resting her wand on her lap. "Also I can use it to fire off magic easier then-" She flexes, "these guns."

"It s-suits you..." Rada mumbles, the curve of her cheeks still visible above the edge of her scarf tinged with pink, which only deepens when Erika K flexes.

"M-Mine is, um... m-more specialized, I th-think... th-than Miss Kimoto's..." Rada squeaks as she pulls out her wand from a pocket beneath her apron.

In comparison to the rifle-wand, the one Rada holds up is tiny and thin, only a foot in length. The white porcelain lily-of-the-valley plant is fragile-looking, with blood red enamel filling in the gaps where the vase-like handle is cracked, and tiny red gemstones lining the rims of the bell flowers as well as the veins of its skeletal silver leaves.

"It helps me... protect myself o-or... other people... i-if things are going badly... a-and I've been hurt..." She explains, bringing it closer to her chest as she nibbles on her bottom lip. "I was nervous at first... th-that it would break but... i-it's stronger than it looks..."

“Wow, they’re both so cool, huh? Thanks again for agreeing to come out here today, you two.” Erika L brings the camera in close, beaming at the viewer. “Remember, folks, we can only do so much with magic alone. Think about what you can do to help the environment. What your government can do. We’re making progress, with everyone’s help!”
