Scott Ryder never saw his life going this way, not that anyone ever asked him his opinion. Now he's pathfinder with too many people depending on his young shoulders and trying to figure out what he wants for himself.

Reyes Vidal, man of mystery, former pilot and now sometimes smuggler. Who knows where he came from or his motivations but he's come to Andromeda to change his destiny.

What neither Scott nor Reyes could have predicted is what their lives would be once they came to Andromeda.

It’s true! He’s just a little guy trying to help his maternal figure (in Perseus’s case, his mom; in Peter’s case, his aunt), and somehow finds love while trying to make things right (Perseus/Andromeda; Peter/MJ).

If I may once again dip my toe into the discourse surrounding Greek Mythology, a lot of people like to rewrite or reframe the story of Medusa, and that’s great! Highly encourage it. But, DON’T YOU DARE GO AND DEMONIZE MY BOY PERSEUS!

Perseus isn’t some vile misogynist who hunts down and murders Medusa for the hell of it. He’s a scared kid who’s trying to save his mom from a forced marriage (whom herself has been a victim of terrible abuse from her father) to a creepy evil king and gets duped by the Gods into cleaning up their mess for them. He’s not the villain, he’s just another pawn. So if I see one more motherfucker trying to make him out to be the “real monster” I will throw hands.

You know what would be way more interesting?! Medusa sees Perseus rolling up to her crib and freaks out cause ‘holy shit this is a fucking kid. a fucking toddler with a sword and shield.’ and they hash it out and then TEAM UP to kill the evil kind trying to force marry Perseus’ mother! Think of the dynamics that you could write! The interactions that could occur. I mean, one of ‘em is gonna have to wear a blindfold but hey, minor problems.

What I’m saying is, gimme a buddy cop movie where Perseus and Medusa team up to fight evil in Ancient Greece.

Her skintone is now fixed to be skin 2, I have several custom skins I need to get different versions of so for now I’m just changing skins in SimP when I need to.

Their household will actually be changing again at the beginning of the next round with Trixie and MJ moving out into a house with Christopher, where they will get married and Christopher will hopefully either not cheat on Trixie with Meda, oooor ACR jealousy will do what it loves to do in my game and make them into one big polyamorous family 🥰💜

Okay. MJ knew she'd asked this a LOT around Angela since they'd first met, for reasons big and small. But for old time's sake, once more with feeling - what the FUCK was that?

Rooted to her spot on the floor, skin practically burning from where Angela had barely grazed her dropped jaw, MJ DESPERATELY rewound the tape in her mind to try and make sense of any of it. In a very literal sense? Nothing had happened - and yet she didn't think that was entirely true. SOMETHING, even if MJ lacked the understanding or vocabulary to grapple with it, had changed in her friend. Not just her TONE and expression, though those had been plenty terrifying on their own.

No, something had shifted in the very UNIVERSE around them. Like someone had clicked on a reading lamp in a room at the end of the hall, the door only halfway cracked open - not enough of a change to really impact anything in MJ's immediate vicinity, arguably something that didn't affect her life AT ALL, but still ... noticeable.

Her life was already WEIRD enough as it was - how, genuinely HOW, was spending the day with the heiress stranger than loving a man who hung from webs on the ceiling?

"... Wait, WHAT?" MJ frowned, shaking her head a little as Angela's words finally processed in her brain. Chasing after her friend, her expression a mask of confusion. "I'm sorry, NO, you don't get to drop a weird bomb like that and then just go back to playing life-size Barbies with me like I'm some sort of TOY."

N7 Day 2017 is almost upon us. In 2012 BioWare dubbed November 7th N7 Day, intending it as a global unofficial holiday when they would come together with fans. N7 Day is a celebration of the Mass Effect universe and the franchise’s community.

This year, Mass Effect: Andromeda was released. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as well-received as people had hoped. Consequently, when it comes to the future of the franchise, we as fans find ourselves in a strange sort of limbo. However! Despite the circumstances, we still want to celebrate all things Mass Effect on this N7 Day. Therefore, after some discussion, we decided to try and create a cross-platform celebration campaign – the “Thank You Mass Effect” campaign. It's a collaborative effort between Deb @omegastation, MJ @jaalamadarav and SofaJockey (a BSN moderator). The goal is simple: to celebrate Mass Effect and express our thanks for the good times we had with it. The campaign covers the whole franchise, including the games, books and comics. All are welcome to take part, and you can participate on as many or as few platforms as you like. We’d love for as many people as possible to see the message on N7 Day. Maybe we can even get it trending! So how can you join in?

The following platforms are involved:

• Twitter – hashtag #thankyoumasseffect  You can tweet the hashtag as-is, or add in what you’re thankful for, e.g. “#thankyoumasseffect for giving us Commander Shepard”. What’s the point of the “Thank You Mass Effect” campaign? What can we hope for as fans? There isn’t going to be any Andromeda DLC, and it’s up in the air whether or not there will be another Mass Effect game in the future. At the moment there isn’t a way to know for sure. Where does that leave us? We just think that this N7 Day is a good time to send the message that there are still a lot of passionate Mass Effect fans out there, who care a lot about the franchise and its future. So #ThankyouMassEffect!

A/N: Ya’ll, I figured out how to use dividers! It’s been a hot minute! I hope everyone has been happy and healthy!!!

“No! It’s embarrassing. Leave me alone, Parker.” You were pushing past the uproaring crowd in the narrow hallway to run away from Peter and his silly questions. You were at lunch with Ned, MJ, and Peter when the topic of your first kisses got brought up. You couldn’t recall how the subject was brought up, only that you became flustered and anxious.

You had thanked the bell for ringing when they started to speculate you. You jumped up and fast walked your way through the school with Peter on trail. Just getting rid of him was a relief. You don’t know why he needed to know. You shook off the thought as you entered your next class.

You brought your fist up to the Parkers’ apartment door. You and Peter had plans to study. You recently had fallen behind in Astronomy and needed some help from a friend. “Y/N!” He smiled brightly. Peter moved aside, letting you slide through and make your way to his room.

The little room was dimly lit. The sun steadily made its way down. From what you could see, the sky marveled with yellows, oranges, and pinks. Sections of puffs departed from the masses of the white clouds. Your eyes wandered to the boy that was standing in the doorway. “Where’s May?” May usually made herself present when Peter brought guests over.

Peter silently thanked May wasn’t there. She’d usually tease and embarrass him in front of you. Aunt May loved to comment about when you’d guys date already. Especially when he gave out one of his biggest secrets. His more than friendly liking for you. It happened during a heated conversation between the aunt and nephew. The teasing became enough and Peter snapped. All May did was giggle and smile at the boy. Furthering her teasing.

“She went to get groceries.” You got comfortable on the bottom bunk while listening. Tugging at your backpack, you collected a binder that held the study material. Peter sat next to you, folding his legs under another. You let out a huff, “Where to begin?”

“The andromeda galaxy is what type of galaxy?” One hour had passed since the study session started. It went from basics to advanced and then back to basics. Your brain was starting to stir up a headache from overthinking and stress. “Easy! A spiral galaxy!” You now sat on the floor, back against the bunk bed. Peter had his legs sprawled out in a v-shape and was propped up against his pillows. Papers scattered on the comforter. Along with homemade flash cards.

“Break time! You look exhausted.” You huffed at his statement, getting a sense of relief. “I am exhausted.” Peter kept thinking back to the question that you never answered. Have you ever been kissed? The unresolved statement left him feeling anxious. Something about it just made him feel… protective? He couldn’t quite point to what emotion it was.

“Try tonight! After studying, watch a movie and make your move.” Ned said. “It’s not that easy. What if she has kissed someone before? What if I’m not good? And if it is her first?” Peter kept on rambling. “Dude, listen. Just go with the flow! Peter, I get that this could be your first kiss and that you are nervous. But I’m pretty sure Y/N feels the same way! You’ve been into Y/N for so long. It’s time to shoot your shot!” The taller boy closed his locker, hitting his head against it groaning. Can Peter really shoot his shot?

The muddled thoughts were cut off by the sound of his bedroom door opening. “MAY!” You jumped up, barreling towards the older woman. “Y/N!” You embraced her in a bear hug, causing her to stumble. “What have you kids been up to?” “Studying.” You and Peter said in unison. “Alright, well. I have to go put up the groceries.” She rubbed your back and left the room. You turned to Peter, “So what now?”

“Have you heard of this old movie Footloose?”

“It was so great! Oh my gosh, the tractor scene was by far the best part!” Peter felt butterflies rise in his stomach. The way your eyes sparkled with excitement and the way a bright smile played at your lips while you rambled. How your hair flowed in each direction you shook your head. His adoration for you only growing even more.

“Y/N, can I ask you something?” Peter nervously picked at his jeans. Turning to face you more on the couch. “Yeah! Of course- wait. It’s 11:34. I said I was going to be home by 11! Peter took a deep breath, “Y/N, I have known you for a l-long time. You are one of my best friends. When N-Ned asked us that question at lunch today it put my feelings on the spot. I j-just really really like you and I care about you so much-“

“Peter.”

“Yeah?”

You smashed your lips against his. Electricity sparked around you. It was as if the world stopped. The butterflies that occupied Peter’s stomach floated up to his chest. His heart felt as if it was going to explode. Your soft lips gliding against his own. The kiss lasted for what felt like a lifetime. Neither of you could get enough. Peter moved his arms around your back, bringing you closer to him. You reached your arms up and curled them around his neck, advancing the closeness.

You were the first to break away. Resting your forehead against his while you panted lowly. Peter felt his cheeks flush, almost forgetting about the warm embrace. This is more than what he wished for. Clearing your throat, you slowly pulled away. You looked up into Peter’s eyes. “You were going to asked if I have ever been kissed? Well… now I have.” Peter nearly died at the expression that rested upon your delicate face.

“See you at school, Parker.” You whispered to him, rushing out of his apartment. The door shut. Peter was stunned. “Y-yeah. You too.” Peter settled for a second before biting his bottom lip and fist bumped the air.
