Cameron Jibril Thomaz (September 8, 1987) known by his stage name Wiz Khalifa, is a rapper. He released his debut album, Show and Prove, in 2006. His Eurodance-influenced single “Say Yeah” received urban radio airplay, charting on the Rhythmic Top 40 and Hot Rap Tracks charts, becoming his first minor hit.
He released his second album, Deal or No Deal. He released the mixtape Kush and Orange Juice as a free download in April 2010. He adopted an urban hip hop-influenced approach with his debut single for Atlantic, “Black and Yellow”. The song, a tribute to his hometown of Pittsburgh, debuted at #100 and reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning him two Grammy Award nominations. “Black and Yellow” became the lead single for his third album Rolling Papers, which was released in March 2011, and contained the Top 40 singles “Roll Up” and “No Sleep”.
The album’s success was followed up with O.N.I.F.C. in December 2012, which was backed by the singles “Work Hard, Play Hard” and “Remember You”. He released his fifth album Blacc Hollywood in August 2014; it became his first album to peak atop the Billboard 200 and was preceded by the lead single “We Dem Boyz”. In March 2015, he released “See You Again” for the soundtrack of the film Furious 7, and the song peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 non-consecutive weeks.

Known for his abundant usage of cannabis, he released his cannabis brand, Khalifa Kush, in 2016, which expanded to release in nationwide dispensaries.
He was born in Minot, North Dakota, to parents serving in the military, frequently moving around with his parents’ military service. After moving to Pittsburgh, he began to write and perform his lyrics before. He married Amber Rose (2013-15). They have one son.

Someone put “Kush and Orange Juice” up against “Live.Love.A$AP”…
I just wanna say this.. both of those tapes meant a lot to me growing up.. shiiit i went to both shows when the tapes were touring..
BUT
Kush and OJ was just different, man. To me it’s hard to explain but it felt like the end of an era there was such a big shift after Summer 2010.. when 2011 started things were different.
Kush and OJ was to me so much more than just mixtape it was truly a major moment. I still remember watching Wiz Khalifa’s “Day today” YouTube series like every time they came out. Then the roll out for it, wiz was everywhere.. Those types of things will never be replicated again IMO. Things are way too different than they used to be. I feel like an old head LOL.
So to me and remembering the feel, the music, and the era of rap from then.. Kush and OJ wins.
Favourite songs off Kush and OJ:
Glass house,
In the cut,
mesmerized,
never been, the
kid Frankie,
good dank,
the statement.

G-Eazy shows his many different sides in “Freak Show.”
5. Lady Killers III
Tumblr media
Why don’t I remember “Lady Killers I” or “Lady Killers II?”
“Lady Killers III” definitely sounds like a track that was made in 2011. The rap flow G-Eazy uses in it sounds like some s**t Drake was using on Take Care, while the production that he relies on sounds like some s**t we would’ve heard on Wiz Khalifa’s Kush & Orange Juice mixtape. At the end of the day, the music is still good. I particularly rock with the track’s beachy vibes and Eazy’s lyrics about f**king with a chick that sounds like a first-team all-NBA groupie.
4. One Day (Ft. Leon Bridges)
G-Eazy imagines that he’s broke in “One Day.”
“One Day” is like G-Eazy’s version of “21 Questions.” In the track, he asks his chick how things would be if he didn’t have much money but projects to in a few years. He also brings up the one-bedroom apartments he is living in, the equipment he can barely afford, and being held down.
Leon Bridges features in this track, delivering a great chorus filled with passion and a spellbinding melody. G-Eazy comes across as calm and subdued, even though he’s probably down a couple of rent payments.
3. South Of France
You gotta give G-Eazy props for finding a way to use Sebastian Janorkowski’s name in a verse.
G-Eazy shows off his introspective side in “South Of France.” He talks about living out his dreams, dropping successful albums, and being as focused as ever. Though you get to hear his vulnerable side a bit, G-Eazy still raps with supreme confidence and conviction, which I think layers on top of the gentle but hard-hitting beat that powers everything. I do wish the hook was a little better, but you can’t have everything in life.
2. Freak Show (Ft. French Montana)
Those girls that smash on top of sheets are the deadliest.
These are the cool-ass G-Eazy tracks that I prefer. In “Freak Show,” he brags about the different kinds of chicks he’s smashing and being far from a punk. In the process, he blesses us with a catchy hook and some very sly raps over this uptempo, booming beat that will turn a party up. As for French Montana, he delivers a very punchy, braggadocios verse that has him sounding like a Morrocan demon. His part definitely fits the track.
1. Femme Fatale (Ft. Coi Leray & Kaliii)
Tumblr media
Once again, this is the G-Eazy I prefer.
Seeing Coi Leray and Kalii on a G-Eazy track might surprise you, but remember, some of Eazy’s biggest hits, like “No Limit,” feature talented female rappers. That said, “Femme Fatale” is a cool collaboration. Driven by a booming, Bay Area-like beat, G-Eazy and Coi exchange playful banter. While G-Eazy sounds like he’s auditioning for “The Whisper Song” pt. 2, Leray talks her s**t with tons of confidence. Kalii plays a strong supporting role, delivering a tough verse that showcases her value in relationships. Overall, the slick rhymes and catchy hook are sure to resonate with listeners.

Wiz Khalifa’s “Kush & Orange Juice” Turns 10 Years Old
Today marks the 10-year anniversary of Wiz Khalifa’s classic Kush & Orange Juice mixtape. It wasn’t his first mixtape but it would ultimately be the one that changed it all for the Taylor Gang captain. If you remember the tape started trending on twitter hours before Wiz even dropped it and when he finally did all of hip-hop took notice shutting down the Datpiff servers for a while.
When the Pittsburgh rapper first hit the scene with “Say Yeah” in 07, not many saw this longevity. Fast Forward just 3 years later after the release of “Prince Of The City”, “Flight School”, and “Burn After Rolling”, and Wiz was already carving his lane to be an artist to keep an eye out for. On April 14, 2010, Wiz Khalifa dropped his 10th mixtape which led him to his major label deal with Atlantic, his multi-platinum selling single “Black & Yellow,” him landing on the 2010 XXL Freshman cover, on the Forbes list in 2011, and officially became one of the most important artists of our generation
From the minute you hear the “Wake & Bake” intro to how it syncs into “Mesmerized” Khalifa man was in his bag from production. To lyrics, even the cover art, Wiz certainly didn’t create the idea of a “mixtape,” but he definitely revamped it’s importance to the culture.

RETOUR SUR LES 25 MEILLEURES MIXTAPES DES ANNÉES 10
Le dossier d'une génération...
Tumblr media
K.R.I.T. Wuz Here de Big K.R.I.T. en 2010
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Live.Love.A$AP d’A$AP Rocky en 2011
Tumblr media
Back From the Dead de Chief Keef en 2012
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
« Straight up ! »
Monster de Future en 2014
Tumblr media
Off the Rip, Moses, Gangsta, etc.
If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late de Drake en 2015
Tumblr media
All Or Nothing: Live It Up de Lloyd Banks en 2016
Tumblr media
Tumblr media

We're Done Lyrics - Wiz Khalifa
We’re Done Lyrics – Wiz Khalifa
[Chorus] We’re done, but it’s not over. We’ll start it again, out to the end of the day. It keeps getting better. Don’t be afraid, we’ll do it together.
Started from nothing, ended up with everything. From the house, to the whips, taking trips to any place that you care to name. Champagne, skydivin’ EZ wider papers, no blunts, hit it once you mile high Runnin’ now I’m livin’ how I’m supposed to. L…

MeTV Music
This can be a 'checklist of electronic music genres', consisting of genres of electronic music , primarily created with electronic musical instruments or electronic music technology A distinction has been made between sound produced utilizing electromechanical means and that produced using digital technology. If you are still having hassle figuring out the style, the arrangement of the tune might give you some clues. For instance in genres like chill-out and ambient there's a distinct lack of any structure, as the tune doesn't progress radically over its period. 7. Hennion A. The production of success: an anti-musicology of the pop song. Common Music. 1983 Jan 1;three:159-ninety three. A controversial term in hip-hop, many "conscious rappers" do not wish to be labeled as such. Nevertheless, www.Audio-transcoder.com there is no denying the importance of this subgenre, which promotes ideas such as information of self and consciousness of large-ranging social points. Many different subgenres accomplish the identical, however various rap (a better phrase) is labeled as such as a consequence of its smoother, extra laid-back production type. Indian classical music is the only music that makes such an extensive use of, and offers such an importance to musical modes. In contrast to Western, Chinese language, South Asian and Japanese music, Indian music locations emphasis on the artist's interpretation of a particular mode and his personal model of singing, moderately than a flawless facsimile of a composition written by another person. Because of this, ensembles are very uncommon in North Indian music, though it is a crucial part of the South Indian Carnatic college of music. Album sales have lengthy been a key measure of the recognition of particular person genres, and yr after yr jazz album gross sales continue to fall. Favourite among kids everywhere in the world, hip hop is likely one of the most popular modern genres of music. Hip hop music emerged as an offshoot of the hip hop movement within the Seventies. Centered in Bronx, the motion quickly spread to the remainder of the US, and hip hop music benefited from the growth, changing into one of the adopted genres of the Nineteen Seventies-1980s. Other H-topics had been much more dynamic. Between 1960 and 2009, the imply frequency of H1 declined by about 75%. H1 captures the usage of dominant-seventh chords. Inherently dissonant (because of the tritone interval between the third and the minor-seventh), these chords are generally used in Jazz to create tensions which might be eventually resolved to consonant chords; in Blues music, the dissonances are sometimes not resolved and thus add to the characteristic ‘dirty' color. Accordingly, we find that songs tagged blues or jazz have a excessive frequency of H1; it is particularly widespread in the songs of Blues artists similar to B.B. King and Jazz artists similar to Nat ‘King' Cole. The decline of this subject, then, represents the lingering death of Jazz and Blues within the Hot a hundred. Only a few classical musicians I've labored with have even heard of this idea of really feel, and even those with good rhythm do not obsess over it to the purpose that jazz musicians have to in order to obtain an anticipated stage of competence. So to a jazz musician, the classical musician's sense of rhythm can seem bafflingly substandard. The group had gathered to listen to the latest in digital dance music, so when a handful of bluegrass musicians shuffled onto the stage last March, they may as well have been astronauts-and virtually immediately, the blogosphere was abuzz with confusion. The study contributors were recruited via notices put up in Marienhospital Herne and in the MA building on the Medical College at Ruhr College Bochum. We focused healthy volunteers, not sufferers. All subjects had been examined in response to a strictly outlined research protocol consisting of six phases ( eTable 1 ). The music sequences had been randomized before the beginning of the research by means of computerized random number generation. 60 subjects (30 males and 30 ladies) had been included within the intervention group, of whom half were youthful than 50 and the opposite half older than 50 years of age. The age and sex distribution of the management group was identical. Random allocation was undertaken before the beginning of the study by the principal investigator (HJT); the study physician (GV) admitted individuals into the examine and, on the study day, allotted them to the respective interventions (musical genres). Just like the Gqom style aesthetic , Afrobeat has been round for some time. A mix of hip-hop, funky house, and native African music from London (through Africa diaspora), Ghana, and Nigeria, Afrobeat had originally been fairly restricted to elements of the African continent and the UK, but it's catching fireplace internationally. Listen To Ariana Grande’s ‘Sound Of Music’
Genres in music are like branches of a tree. Music means the world to me. Without it, life would maintain no which means. Music is what colours the world. If there was no music, there can be no technique to preserve folks entertained, or completely happy. Life can be gray and flavorless. Everybody has their own type of music that hypes them, calms them or helps them. Pop, rock, classical, rap, reggae techno are only a few varieties of music that fill the world. Music is what I worth most as a result of it's what makes the world go round. The following on our checklist is a well-liked and proficient reggae and dancehall artist Busy Signal. His foremost image is mature lyrics and because of them this musician has gained such recognition across the globe. His dancehall hits include the next works: Stay So", Desk Speak", In every single place", and Go Once more". Sub-genres are sometimes outlined by way of fashion. For example, the style of song has sub-genres such as rock song, polyphonic song, musical theater track, hymn, http://www.audio-transcoder.com and so on. Another example is the connection between opera and rock opera. I actually take pleasure in listening to nation music. I've lived on a ranch all my life and that is what you play in a giant truck. I don't take care of all this rap music. I can not even understand what their saying. With country you'll be able to and it's a story in a track. Banda is a mix of just about all the genres of the Mexican music, like the corridos, boleros, baladas, cumbias, rancheras, and also rock and pop. Banda is basically a giant brass-based mostly type of music that primarily depends on percussion. It originated in the Sinaloa state of Mexico. Around 10 to twenty individuals are present in a band. The American band was banned for a long time in Australia, in 1996 the nation stopped the sale of any Cannibal Corpse recordings and all copies had to be stripped from music stores. The ban lasted ten years until it was lifted in 2006. A sub-genre of pop in UK that extensively used digital keyboards, elaborate arrangements and borrowed components from soul music. Bands reminiscent of Swing Out Sister (above) have been widespread in the Nineteen Eighties. The genre has recently seen a revival, due to artistes corresponding to Jessie Ware. YouTube Music is a new music streaming service with the official audio, official video, playlists and artist stations. Plus, the rest of the story you possibly can't find anywhere else: dwell performances, remixes and extra. Open the World of Music. It is all right here. Now, you understand, when you think about that jazz is nice American music, it's been 4 or five many years, I think 1963, since jazz won record of the 12 months for Grammy presentation. I imply, that is astonishing to me. So maybe there is a beacon of light now that has been shined upon us to maybe make people look a bit bit extra deeply into what art is really about. What it means. And I'm so blissful that Herbie received this document as a result of it was the one jazz record nominated for report of the yr. Indie Music: Do you like in search of out obscure bands and indie artists? Fans of the indie style are typically introverted, mental, and creative. In accordance with researchers, they also are typically much less hardworking and less mild. Passivity, anxiousness, and low shallowness are different common personality characteristics. mento-reggae , as parts of each Jamaican music have been mixed. Some middle interval mento LPs had been fairly bland, corresponding to " Yellow Fowl " by the promisingly named Jamaica Duke and the Mento Swingers, and the aforementioned Wrigglers LP. The good majority of the recordings from the middle period had been of old mento songs, with sundry other covers. Nearly not one of the songs on these LPs appear to have been written during this period. I can chuckle, but when my children someday ask my what I did within the genre wars I'll must admit that there's blood on my hands, too. Earlier in 2000, I might set up Popjustice , a weblog that I hoped would battle the nook for respectable pop music. And early on this was pitched as a battle towards guitar music. Puerile could be one charitable manner of describing those early years: at one point, Popjustice's homepage featured Richard Ashcroft's face with the word TWAT" written across it. While that will or could not have been true, it is clear now that it had no bearing on whether or not or not the third Steps album was a triumph (which, for the document, it was).
Comparing the confusion matrix in desk 10 and the confusion matrix for the quadratic Bayesian classifier utilizing PCA in table 5 , it is attention-grabbing to notice that: in the former, cluster 1 comprises appreciable art works from the four genres (25 from blues, 32 from bossa nova, 46 from reggae and 30 from rock), in a total of 133 art works; in the latter, a substantial number of artwork works from blues (22), bossa nova (23) and rock (31) had been misclassified as reggae, in a total of 146 artwork works belonging to this class. Because of this the PCA illustration was not environment friendly in discriminating reggae from the other genres, whereas cluster 1 was the one that the majority intermixed art works from all courses. 1971 music Hocus Pocus was high within the charts in various nations. It was carried out by Dutch progressive rock band Focus, made up of performers from the pit band for the Dutch production of the rock musical Hair. 3) non-musical sound consists of unstructured noises (we call it noise). Projects like Drake' s So Far Gone and Wiz Khalifa's Kush and Orange Juice were literal presents. In actual fact, I see intonation as a type of inverse of rhythm. For classical musicians it is a topic of years of true obsession, and like rhythm in jazz, classical musicians view intonation as a grid. You might think of jazz musicians, conversely, as having a more expressive approach to intonation. It isn't necessarily even aware, however with saxophone players specifically a sort of idiosyncratic intonation can change into an identifiable function. I've seen classical musicians hearken to Coltrane from his quartet interval, for example, and actually burst out laughing on the intonation. But as any Coltrane aficionado with some technical understanding would agree, that sharp, nearly pinched quality in the excessive register is an integral a part of the surging angst of the Coltrane sound.

Though he died tragically at the age of 33, Sam Cooke left a tremendous legacy from his few years as a prime pop and soul performer. Many give credit to Cooke for being a pioneer and founder of what turned referred to as soul music when he moved from the gospel world to give attention to common music. Sam Cooke was additionally a pioneer amongst black performers on the enterprise end of music. He fashioned his own record label and music publishing company. He additionally turned a music chief within the American civil rights movement, lending it one in every of his most stirring songs, "A Change Is Gonna Come," as an anthem. A lot is made of the Blur vs Oasis rivalry that ran all through the height of Britpop and it is certainly true that they were two of a very powerful bands of the last decade. Blur's spectacular again catalogue boasts a wealth of indelibly British songwriting with a few of the wittiest lyrics of the Nineteen Nineties, and in addition among the easiest (see Tender). Damon Albarn would go on to create music with Gorillaz and pursue plenty of other intriguing projects, but the true star of the present was Graham Coxon, who stays one of the criminally underrated British guitarists of the 20th century. Banda is a blend of almost all the genres of the Mexican music, like the corridos, boleros, baladas, cumbias, rancheras, and in addition rock and pop. Banda is basically a big brass-primarily based type of music that mainly relies on percussion. It originated in the Sinaloa state of Mexico. Round 10 to 20 people are current in a band. The American band was banned for a very long time in Australia, in 1996 the country stopped the sale of any Cannibal Corpse recordings and all copies needed to be stripped from music stores. The ban lasted ten years till it was lifted in 2006. The Baroque interval is characterized by strict musical varieties and extremely decorative works. Baroque music started in Europe around 1600. It continued until 1750. As smart as this interactive is, it can also inform us about how genres relate and do not relate to at least one one other. The map is ostensibly organized in order that extra mechanical genres are at the high and more natural ones on the backside, dense music on the left and delicate, bouncy music on the fitting. It's generally difficult to tell apart between genre and form , however they aren't the identical factor. Form refers back to the structure of the music on the page, whereas style relies on the performing forces ( voices and instruments ), the purpose or perform of the piece (dance, hymn, opera, and so on.), the fashion used, and even the cultural or historic context of the work. Now, you know, when you think about that jazz is great American music, it has been 4 or 5 decades, I feel 1963, since jazz won file of the 12 months for Grammy presentation. I mean, that is astonishing to me. So perhaps there is a beacon of light now that has been shined upon us to maybe make individuals look a little bit more deeply into what artwork is absolutely about. What it means. Digital will get a foul rap as a result of most individuals do not yet perceive it. Its one of the latest types of music with so many alternative subgenres with so many variations of its utilization that its completely mind boggling. My personal belief is that there's a subgenre of Electronic music for everybody even those that claim to hate it. I hope someday that Digital music joins the annals of the most effective music varieties of all time as I personally believe it is the longer term. If you actually wish to know the distinction between minor music genres, you will want to get some listening training in drum grooves, as nearly all of the time the drums will provide you with the most important and most blatant trace as to what the genre is. It also helps to get a way of widespread music history, as most genre distinctions only make sense within the context of their previous genres and the genres with which they're interacting contemporaneously. Earlier than we look at the findings, it is important to notice that the way that such data is gathered influences the consequence. The type of songs popular on streaming websites like Spotify aren't necessarily the varieties of songs common on the radio. To get essentially the most widely representative outcomes, we'll be taking a look at each the top genres in terms of dwell performances and the most well-liked musicians in response to Pandora 2017 streaming numbers Lastly, to give you a style of the music each state has individually produced we'll have a look at the preferred bands which have come from every state A handful of artists from major metropolitan areas may dominate the top of the charts at any given moment, but that does not mean that each and every state hasn't contributed their own unique artists to America's musical tapestry.
