Not too long ago, Hani had met someone whom she kept merely for her own entertainment. She shouldn't have done such thing but she's a fool who wasn't in the right mind to make serious decisions then. He had asked her out and she said yes, not because she liked him back, but because she liked caring for people and he was a replacement to what she had lost then. 

Hani wondered how he has been as she makes her way back to her car, groceries at the back seat of her Cadillac. The Escalade was often seen to be too big for someone as tiny as her but she didn't care. She felt safer that way. As she was driving around, she couldn't believe her eyes at the sight she's seeing before her. In a distance was Taehyun. Hani slows her car down. It was late and she was probably one of the few people left in the store just moments ago. 

Hani decides to pull up, carefully making her way out of the car. Worry was written all over her face. Things have changed. She was more expressive now and she's doing much better if you ask, but she's confused too. Why is he here? What's wrong with him? What happened? Hani approaches him slowly, cautiously almost and there she was standing before him. 

“T-Taehyun..” She calls his name out softly. Scared he'd run away at the sight of her. Hani did him dirty, that's true. All those lies she said and secrets she kept from him. “Are you okay?” She asks, crouching down to see what was wrong with him. 

“Taehyun, look at me. It's me, Hani.”

“Wheels! Hey, can you give me a hand?” Yuyan called over her shoulder, standing on her toes and stretching an arm above her head to try to reach the extra dish soap sitting on the very top shelf. The tips of her fingers were a good three inches from the bottle, so it was definitely time to call in back up. Good thing she’d seen Taehyun hanging out in the kitchen, or else she would have had to try to balance on a kitchen chair to reach it herself.

“It’s just a little too high for me, and if there’s no soap people are just going to start piling up dishes in the sink and it’s going to grow some kind of mold monster...” She told him, stepping aside so he could reach it for her. When the door of the storage room swung closed behind him, she did not think anything of it. “You know how we can be~”

She went to go out and start running the water so she could wash the small collection of dishes that had already accumulated, but she stopped short when the doorknob wouldn’t turn in her hand. “Oh... shit--” She jiggled the handle, pushing on the door with her free hand. No good. “Um, bad news...”

Her eyes were closed as the heat of the sun warms up her face. She decided to visit the park for once, enjoy the summer heat and forget anything and everything for a while. She still had a few days left until she had to work at KH electronics to pay off that guy’s hospital fee, and to replace her role in the MPD while she was suspended. It was still hard for her to wrap her mind around the idea that she wasn’t going to be wearing her uniform for a good few months, that she wasn’t officer Danielle or even that ridiculous nickname SWAT-chan. Just Dani, Dani the secretary and it was horrible, and she wished she never punched that guy in the face or met him at all.

It was silent for a while, the birds were chirping, the wind was also nice, making her hair tickle against her forehead when the faint sound of a male voice made her open her eyes. It didn’t sound bad, just unexpected, and she found the face matching the voice, leaning against a tree across from her, with his headphones in and a book resting in his lap.

Dani knew that song, it was one of those type of songs that fit the atmosphere and made you long for summer even more. She automatically joined in, the harmony of their voices coming together.
