Mitzuri watched everything with interest, there was a distinct aesthetic that probably followed all the perfection of the zen to a T that would always go over her head – she was no specialist, but could appreciate. Hanami was one of her favorite times, although she appreciated the momijigari almost the same: if the blooming of the cherry trees had this delicate yet striking atmosphere, the red hues of autumn leaves had this mature and mysterious allure. The garden seemed to be one of those places that would look striking in both occasions, and the dojo itself, at least to her, seemed to be a testament to austerity and the fundamentals of the kyudo. ❝ Talent runs in the family, hmn ? ❞ Ayako heard the story, imagining a young man who had to accompany his father and, without a place to return to, had to make due with whatever he had to offer. It just happened the boy was talented. It was a hard time after all and upholding a tradition like this must be a source of great pride to the Yaguchi family – yet they don’t scoff at modernity, one of the things that seems to be the downfall of many venerable traditions.

Ayako also slipped out of her shoes upon entering the dojo, taking a moment to read the names that brought honor to the style – of course she couldn’t recognize any of them, making her slightly ashamed of her lack of research before coming. She wasn’t sure if they would have slippers for the visitors, so the girl made sure to bring her own to don’t bother her hosts. ❝ I’m glad it is someone like you who is teaching me. ❞ she was never one to be coy about voicing her thoughts ❝ I’m forever grateful that Yaguchi-sensei was kind enough to open his doors to a stranger from some school he probably never heard about, it was very generous of him. But I’m still an amateur who is going to pass down the knowledge to other people around our age. ❞ what she meant is that sometimes she got attitude from the others, especially from a certain vice-captain. It must be so much easier to be an adult who automatically gets respect just because they have lived a few more years – Shinji certainly wouldn’t be so annoying if he was a junior or at least two years younger than she was.

She refused to allow the club to be inferior to the track team and Ayako still had to surpass her two rivals ; Tohsaka and Emiya. There were some butterflies in her stomach, not too different from when the club went to the state competition, but she was alone now -- she couldn't rely on the previous captain, who graduated high school , nor her snarky rival. It was actually pretty exciting.

It didn't take more than a couple minutes before she slid into her usual training garbs, her bow in hand. Ayako had strung it before hand and made sure it was alright before leaving the locker room. ❝ Alright, Yaguchi. How are we are going to do it ? Should I watch how you do it or maybe do you want to see how I do and go from there ? ❞

At the very least, she didn't seem impolite. That counted for quite a lot when it came to Shinobu Yaguchi, and far preferable to some entitled fool. "Mm. You're in capable hands, Miss Mitsuzuri." Whether the other girl was disappointed to be saddled with the protege, rather than the master, Shinobu wasn't sure, but if she was, she did a well enough job of hiding it. For her sake, it was just as well - in an objective, competitive sense, Shinobu believed themselves to be a superior archer to their father. His skills laid elsewhere.

As they approached an array of colorful trees in bloom - the last vestiges of color and life before the comparably bare, flat space looking out from the dojo - Shinobu looked back to Ayako, making sure she'd stayed upright during the walk. "The origins of the Yaguchi Dojo dates back nearly 400 years. One of my ancestors, the orphaned son of a samurai who died at Sekigahara, traveled to Kyoto to compete in the Toshiya." Truthfully, they had their doubts as to the veracity of the dojo's story, but their opinion on it mattered little. Everything here demanded a sense of self-importance and history.

"Though he was still a boy, my ancestor was talented, besting men twice his age. He returned to Kyoto yearly, and as an adult is said to have produced a perfect score across one thousand shots." How many times had she heard her father recite the same story? There was more bravado and passion when he told it, compared to her rote recitation, as though it meant something for him personally, as though he needed it to be true. "After that, he retired from the competition, claiming that there was no purpose to continuing. He returned here, but was routinely sought out by would-be students."

An abridged version of the story, along with a number of accolades, rules, and prominent masters of the past, were posted at the dojo's entrance in elegant script. Slipping out of her sandals, she slid open the door and stepped inside onto the wood. "Eventually, he founded his own dojo, with his own style. For generations, the dojo persisted, passing unbroken from father to son. Today, we've modernized, and a student is expected to master both traditional kyudo and modern Olympic styles."

Although, as a temporary student simply visiting, such expectations wouldn't be placed upon Ayako's shoulders. "So, I hope you find the amenities and the instruction to your liking, Miss Mitsuzuri." Certainly if she returned home underwhelmed, it would come back to Shinobu some way or other, and that was the sort of thing they didn't look forward to. "There's a room there, should you wish to change your clothing. There's a tap, as well, should the heat become less bearable, or simply if you're thirsty."

In a practiced motion done thousands of times before, Shinobu walked to the back of the main dojo hall, collecting one of the bows and beginning to string it to usability. Curiously, by how she held the bow and string while working on it, it appeared as though her left hand was dominant. "Beyond that, Miss Mitsuzuri, you should consider what you intend to gain while you train here. I've been instructed to assist you, so whether you'd like to observe my form, receive instruction regarding a particular aspect, or simply make use of the dojo by yourself, you should think upon your goals."

The threat against Ciel is so OOC I honestly blocked that from my mind due to sheer absurdity of it. Like I get the intent is to portray that Shiki’s beyond desperate to go and help Arcueid and ultimately we know he wouldn’t do it even if he could, but it’s beyond nonsensical that Shiki so-repulsed-by-rape-and-assualt-i-vomit-blood-and-almost-kill-myself-out-of-disgust-just-seeing-it Tohno would make that sort of threat. You could have him threaten her life and it would get the same effect. Only better because we know how much life. Human lives mean to Shiki.  It’s almost as bad if not worse than the moment in FSN when Mitzuri finally shows up after missing for a few days and Shirou’s like ‘oh it’s good she got assaulted now she can learn some femininity’ when literally everything we know about him contradicts him ever saying some bullshit like that. Shirou’s a bit traditionalist, sure, but he’s ten-thousand times more likely to go relentlessly hunting for whoever hurt Mitzuri or any girl rather than essentially saying, ‘oh good now she’ll be more careful going out at night’ and go back to eating his rice. Just...God Nasu why?? Feels like some nonsense forced in for shallow shock value.

Follow Forever

Sind häufige Streitereien normal bei freunden?

Also, kurz zu mir. Ich bin 19 Jahre alt, relativ introvertiert und deswegen blieb es bei mir nach der schule auch „nur“ bei 4 freunden. Die anzahl ist wie man so immer sagt nicht wichtig, hauptsache du hast die richtigen gefunden. Der gleichen meinung bin ich auch und war auch eig. Immer zufrieden und glücklich überhaupt freunde zu haben. Nur wird es zur zeit zu zeit immer schwerer, diese Freundschaft nur positiv zu sehen.

Warum? Weil, ich mind. 1 mal in der Woche das Gefühl von ihnen bekomme, bei ihnen falsch zu sein. Grundsätzlich sind sie nicht schlecht zu mir. Sie hören mir zu, ich höre ihnen zu, wir haben ähnliche Interessen, lachen viel und wir akzeptieren einen so wie er ist. Zumindest ,versuchen sie es mich mit meinen komischen Eigenschaften zu akzeptieren.

Denn sobald ich einige fragen hintereinander stelle, um etwas für mich besser zu verstehen. Werde ich schon sofort als „dummkopf“ oder als „hurensohn“ bezeichnet. Sie meinen es natürlich nicht wörtlich, aber als dumm werde ich schon so oft bezeichnet das es einfach nur noch abfuckt und ich das gefühl bekomme nicht mehr eine frage stellen zu können, ohne als dumm bezeichnet zu werden.

Desweiteren, haben wir meist unterschiedlihe meinungen wenn es zu einer disskussion kommt. Ich der ständig als dummkopf bezeichnet wird, muss hier gegen meist zwei, absolut sturrköpfige menschen argumentieren. Die meine sicht der dinge einfach nicht verstehen wollen. Das macht mich meist so verdammt aggressiv das ich, die disskussion manchmal einfach nur mit „ich geh jetzt nachhause“ beende. Jap, eine disskussion mit solchen sturrköpfen ist einfach nur unglaublich ansträndeng.

Zu streitereien, kommt es somit öfters und ich bekomme meist einfach nur das Gefühl fehl am platzt zu sein und die freundschaft mit ihnen einfach nur beenden zu wollen. Hatte es auch oft in der Vergangenheit oft gemacht, aber ich hab mich in laufe der Zeit von ihnen zu abhängig gemacht. So das ich komplett alleine dastehen würde, hätte ich sie nicht.

Bin ich der einzige mit solchen freunden? habe ich mir da die falschen ausgesucht? Oder gehört es halt dazu sich ab und zu nicht wohl bei ihnen zu fühlen und zu streiten?
