Back on my WIP train >:3

Working on a mini-series where the Tribbles (individually) meet Beta-Wally!! I’ve already done Houi (though I might redo it just to see how I’d do it now and in my current art style since ive been able to work on their designs!!)

For now, here’s the first (very unfinished) bit for Mitt’s meeting!!!

oh! my goobers love cuddles with the neighbors, especially if the neighbor is nice and soft!!~

Here’s a lil’ list of their favorite cuddle buddies!!

Mitt: Poppy(anytime!!), Sally(though it has to be when they’re both in a good mood; they got a weird frenemies-thing goin’ on(they act like they don’t like each other but they do))

Tibbers: Barnaby, Eddie(though he tries to sleep on his head and I think Frank would use like a spray bottle to get him off X3), Poppy(especially when he’s sick!)

Houi: Julie(lots of soft hair!!), Wally, Poppy(also!especially when he’s sick!)

The Tribbles were often seen lying in the grass with each other, bathing in the neighborhood’s warm sun. The other neighbors would join them on occasion as they walked by. Even our ever-busy mailman Eddie would stop by while delivering mail to join the cuddle-huddle! It was quite an enjoyable scene to see the neighbors dozing (Wally, of course, would say aloud ‘I’m sleeping, I’m sleeping, I’m sleeping…’) These moments only ended once Barnaby either stood up to look down at his napping friends or walked upon the cuddles late and yelled “Well, ain’t this the perfect setup for a dog pile!!” The neighbors had little to no time to move out of the way before the large dog jumped on top of everyone, only getting off the struggling neighbors if he was asked very politely to move or if someone was distressed

⬆️these are based on what I mentioned in a previous post of the Tribbles making biscuits/napping on their favorite neighbors,, couldn’t help myself once the idea was in my head⬆️

↗️what the Tribbles might look like in the Welcome Home babies thing that Clown did a while back(??)Houi is still pretty much a baby since he is by far the youngest of the 3(and the neighborhood:0)(still haven’t decided how old he really is but I’m leaning more towards 16-17(??)while Mitt and Tibbers are in their early-ish 20s)Tibbers was also a lot shorter when he was younger but when he truly started growing, it was fast↖️

I mean I guuueeeeesssss I’ll do a little update on my Tribbles-wip before I post the finished ~_~

⬆️these are the 2 gradients that I’ve been doing since the Frank&Eddie piece I did a bit ago. The colors for the colored one/not black&white gradient change for every piece since, ya know, different lighting and feeling(??)

I forgot to get a pic with just the shadows I did,, but oh well, guess you’ll have to wait •3•

These are my little “cat-inserts” into Welcome Home. They are based off my cats in real life and I loved working on these, especially Houi’s as he is no longer here. I can’t wait to share more about these fellas and the art that I made of them and the neighbors of Welcome home that I totally haven’t made yet….
