mitski really captured that early twenties despair in drunk walk home that I don’t think can be replicated. idk about you but I’ve literally walked home from the bar drunk and consumed by hopelessness before and it’s exactly like that. angry with the world; realising everything revolves around money; never feeling like you’ll have enough; eternal deprivation and starvation for something that’ll never satisfy you; consumed by love; screaming into the abyss; smelling like shit; stumbling onto the curb and sitting there with your knees pressed to your mouth; staring at nothing. she really did it all in less that three minutes and it’ll never be done again
