En el Aventino, bajo la Iglesia de Santa Prisca en Roma,se localiza este precioso Mitreo (espacio de culto al dios Mitra) El mitraísmo era practicado principalmente por soldados o miembros varones de las familias.Había un rito de iniciación y se sabe poco o nada sobre sus cultos.
