I love MCD Zane a lot cause he is like the perfect kinda fantasy villian you could ever make for a rp like minecraft diaries

I don't really hate Mystreet Zane, but i don't exactly really like him either, hes...okay?

I HAAAATE Cocomau Zane, like littary, the perfect view into basically a nightmare scenario of a emo incel that thinks hes hot shit and treats you like a dumbass twenty four seven

Thats why Misteria Zane is kinda a reality if mystreet zane still acted like mcd zane but more of what you'd expect of mcds actual personality in a modern setting, plus you also pump all of his incel levels to MAX and THAN LATER ON you shove him back into fantasy AND give him the power he had back in mcd, but now with a even more desperate attitude and more times of his composer slipping

(its very sloppy when said out loud but when its played out its honestly better i promise)

i could go on and on about mcd zane’s characterization for HOURS dude i’m so fr. cause like i firmly believe that mcd is the type of media that allows fans to interpret any character however they want because canon is weird and full of plot holes- BUT! personally i could never see mcd zane as anything but a villain. like that man was a FREAK. he slaughtered whole ass villages and hurt literal CHILDREN for fun like cmon guys. and like ik some people aren’t fans of mcd aaron so they kinda ignore his character and stuff but if you do pay attention to his backstory you would really understand why diaries zane is such a horrible person. like he slaughtered the dude’s entire village! you can hate aaron all you want but that was so fucked up . and what’s also horrible about it is like he probably did it to MULTIPLE villages too, cause there was no reason to just only go after falcon claw lets be real, he wanted to do more then that. PLUS literally everything that happened in season 1 ???? dude literally RUINED LIVES. LIKE ARE WE FORGETTING ABOUT ALEXIS ??? OR THE ENTIRE WEDDING DISASTER ?? like WHAT 😭 and again i’ll say that you can redeem zane and stuff in your rewrite i’m not judging anyone for that- i just know personally i could NEVER do that. it just like- kinda takes away from the whole point of his character in the story i feel ? not that you can’t do that cause jess fucked up mcd’s writing tremendously- but i just feel like zane was such a good villain. his purpose was to be a villain. so like- i know that keeping him that way in my rewrite at least is what i’m going to do. like he’s silly and absolutely bonkers insane but that’s part of the charm! the entire reason i think hes cool is BECAUSE of how evil he was. idk i just think hes neat slash derogatory (that’s a joke)

Zane Ro'meave in Misteria is the worst man on earth and id like to show his many traits he has

Hes selfish, self-centered, manipulative, hypocrytical, he gaslights, he certainly gatekeeps, is verbally abusive and a slimey good no nothing incel, thinking he has every right to a women, thinking they should be greatful hes being so sweet and nice, plus hes rich who wouldnt want him?

But the truth is that he has no actual social skills when it comes to interacting with girls, truely he barely has any social skills at all, the guy is like the worst type of friend, like only wants you around to make him look better in comparison kind of friend, will treat everything his friends like as lame or stupid when he expects his friends to love and adore all the stuff he likes

And always complains like he was forced to be around them when truely, if he did decide to throw his friends to the curb, he would basically have nothing, no one but himself to hate.

Zane in my rewrite is basically if you give zane all the views and his god complex he has in mcd, kept all his toxic behavior and want to have power over others, and than mixed him with the absolute worst verison of himself, which is aphsmp zane...

Kinda just spouting random info on Misteria now but....

just so its known now, the main friend group the story follows is...Kim, Dante, Noi, Zane and Ein

Yes all five of them are friends, they have been friends since middle school to college, but...the group isnt perfect, mainly since Kim and Zane have a very toxic friendship with a lot hate, one sidedness and co-dependency, which is big focus since they are both holders of irenes relic....kinda being hinted that she made it fate that they met

Kim and Zanes relationship has the certain toxic friendship traits that are, gaslighting, manipulation, jealously, one sided efforts and gatekeeping.

(but its mainly Zane who is the one who is displaying a lot of these traits in their friendship, like hes a big reason to why Kim is self-concious about showing her attempts at magic to others, he has made her feel like an idiot sometimes when it comes to trying magic, but she still tries even through she can't , but yknow its almost like, zane doesnt like that she hasnt given up on trying like he has)
