Drop Notice.

After a long period of consideration, I have decided to drop Tobin as a muse. While I really love his character and haven’t lost my muse for him, I am struggling to maintain activity. He’s very difficult to roleplay outside of Valentia and while I have attempted to gain more activity on him, I’ve been unsuccessful. 

I average 0-2 thread replies per week on him, while my other muses are consistently 6-8 replies per week. As such, I am dropping Tobin and picking up another muse in his place in the near future.

Thank you to those of you who did thread with Tobin, I really appreciated and enjoyed it! uwu

Hello~ uwu

I’m eager to take on a third and final muse! Tobin is my favorite character from Echoes: Shadows of Valentia since the beginning of the game. I love his personality, quirks, and not to mention that 90s dream boy haircut. ;P 

I’ve actually role-played as Tobin outside of FERP for quite some time, so I’m pretty familiar with him. (I actually planned on first joining FERP taking on Tobin, but he had been taken at the time)

I’m open on taking a couple threads, so send me a DM and we can discuss! (I’m usually logged into Eliwood on Tumblr, so you’ll get a quicker response on Discord :3c ) If you have already discussed creating a starter with me beforehand, I already have your starter in the queue!

Inferiority Complex Headcanons

Tobin’s inferiority complex was developed by his parents’ constant comparison of him to his peers beginning at a young age

As a result of not often comparing well to his friends, he developed low self-worth. To combat this unpleasant feeling, he often undertakes behaviors in an effort to gain approval and to “prove himself”

He fears failure and abandonment

Subconsciously, there are times he feels he is barely keeping his head above water

His inferiority complex causes him to remain closed when it comes to feelings of sadness or insecurity, as he does not want to appear weak to his peers. However, he is more likely to open up to those outside of his friend circle

Unable to effectively understand his own feelings, he often pushes them to the back of his mind to avoid addressing them

Tobin’s family has lived in Ram Village as dairy farmers for generations.
