A comfort show is defined by me as a show I like to rewatch the most to feel snug and comfy and entertained:

Doctor Who (keeping it also because it's the right answer)

The X-Files (it's pretty and weird and I love my doofus FBI agents)

Poirot (the perfect background show, lavish, every british actor ever, LOVE the main character)

Farscape (not nearly enough episodes, but a funny, semi-profound, extremely weird, found family space show, what's not to love)

Star Trek: The Next Generation ( more episodes but less weird than Farscape, big, happy space family)

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries ( not nearly enough episodes 😠 but still VERY rewatchable)

Star Treks: Voyager: Deep Space Nine: Enterprise: Lower Decks: Strange New Worlds (almost every Star Trek show is fun and safe and engaging enough to also be on this list, it's always a safe bet)

Bob's Burgers (it's VERY rewatchable and soooo positive and safe)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer and

Xena: Warrior Princess (because due to circumstances 90's episodic TV shows are my happy place)

To my followers - PSA tagging

I really don’t expect anyone to notice or wonder about the lack of tags recently - but there might be followers who care about blogs who do tag. I do too. I mean I always tag my spider posts or nsfw things for other people’s consideration but quite egoistically, I use tags for the simple reason that posts get lost forever otherwise. I’ve been on here since 2012, that means posts that I want to look at again (I mean, what a revolutionary concept in these times), I would have to search for... quite literally, forever. I try to keep this clean and efficient, for my own sake but also, for other people who, in the rare case, want to keep tags on, (hah!) , themes and topics that I blog about.

I don’t plan on quitting tagging, I just have been keeping busy at work and have been trying to keep up with tumblr while commuting almost exclusively. Tonight I went back and tagged every post as I usually would have. This is really as much a commodity to me as it hopefully is to anyone who visits my blog.

This is just to let you know, thank you for reading if you made it this far and I love you. I hope y’all are keeping safe and healthy!
