Six movies I’ll always watch

@cylin-aka-ankamo tagged me in this and oooo, hmmm, uuuuh:

* The Birdcage, with Robin Williams. I will do the dialogue. I will sing the songs. She work hard for the money eh-eh, eh-eh…

* Excalibur, with Nigel Terry and Helen Mirren. Roundly trashed then and probably still, I love it anyway and have seen it 10 times. Lob that scimitar Lady!

* Moana. A faultless story, infectious music, a faultless story, infectious music…I don’t know how you make a better film.

* Something Wicked This Way Comes. Very true to the Ray Bradbury’s book I’ve always loved. Bonus: I wanted to do many wicked things to Jonathan Pryce.

* District 9. Sharlto Copley’s jaw-dropping performance, CGI that works, and a story profound—this film is sometimes-tough viewing and so good.

* Wall*E and Storks. Both of these animated films have wonderful stories, one with nearly no dialogue, the other with so much humour. I love them.

I wonder what @pickingwinkles, @littleststarfighter, @missmuffin221b, and @marlonbookcase will say their favourite films are.
