My journey of grief after losing my husband of 16 years.

My story of grief began a few days before Thanksgiving of 2018. My husband has had health problems for most of our marriage in May of 2003. Having his first illness diagnosed shortly after we were married. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure.

Over the years we've faced alot of challenges, lots of hospital stays, many trips to specialists, many diagnoses, challenges getting approved for disability, and worse has been dealing with the lousy insurance company and doctors who are in it for the money and not concerned about the patient.

My husband has suffered with chronic low sodium for 3 years. He has been hospitalized with this in October of 2016, October 2017 and again in November of 2018. He did not leave the hospital this time and now my journey of grief begins and trying to live without the love of my life, hang onto the home we shared for our entire marriage without his income and find a reason to want to go on living.

I've started this blog as a way to give others maybe going through this process another perspective.

I hope you'll follow along as I give you my honest and maybe sometimes blunt assessment of what it's like to miss someone who was your entire life.
