After some time contemplating, and unanswered texts from her friends, she decided to walk in. People were arriving in groups and some alone, so why should arriving alone stop her? Y/n lined up to get in, searching her purse to find her ID. It must have been her bad luck because no matter how much she looked for her it, it wouldn’t appear in her bag. She could have sworn she put it in there before the left.

“Student ID?” The person at the door asked while scanning her up and down.

“Forgot it.” She smiled as she pulled out some cash. Before she finished, she heard a familiar voice.

“Hey Kun, did you find the table for cup pong or nah?” Mark went up to the guy at the door, now named Kun. “I thought we had all of them out but turns out we’re still missing one. Oh hi y/n!” He said as he turned back to Kun but then faced y/n again.

“Oh hi y/n,” he repeated. “I didn’t think you’d actually come.”

“Wouldn’t want to miss a good party.” Y/n awkwardly laughed as she pushed her hair back, “I just happened to forget my school ID.”

“That’s okay. You can come in, I know you. Call it pretty privilege.” Mark blushed while saying that, slightly avoiding eye contact. He invited Y/n in with his hands and forgot why he was at the door to begin with.

It was well past midnight, the party was still lively and ZDP was lucky that the other frat houses decided to join them. If they hadn’t, they would’ve probably gotten a noise complaint by now.

Y/n had been drinking more than she normally would, it had been a while since the last time she had attended a part and she just wanted to let go. Luckily, she had forgotten about Mark and Jaehyun about 5 drinks in. She was laughing with her friends, dancing from time to time but she soon felt like she needed some fresh air.

Mark had unconsciously been keeping an eye on her, so as he saw her walking out of the frat house, he too, walked out. Tonight, Mark had a few drinks too many. His mind kept going between Y/n and that little dress she had on, but deep down he knew that was still his brothers girlfriend.

So why exactly was he still following her? “Y/n!”

She stopped in her tracks, looking back at him, “Hi Mark.” She smiled as she fully turned her body to him. “Did you follow me?”

Mark rubbed the back of his head, “No, I was just headed out too.”

“Headed out of your own party?”

“Well yes but technically it isn’t my party. It’s just my frat throwing it but the actual hosts are Ty and Haec…okay yeah maybe I did follow you. Wanted to keep you safe.”

“Mark Lee wants to keep me safe?” she laughed, “sounds like someone is out to get me. Maybe your brother?”

Mark shifted uncomfortably at that comment, now walking beside Y/n. She was leading him to the back of house, no one went out of the house unless they were going to smoke or fuck. So why was she still leading him to the back? Was it the alcohol that was making Mark take it as a mixed signal?

“Was the party not your liking?” He stood in front of her as she leaned against a wall. “That would make sense. You usually don’t attend parties. Well you used to but once you got with Jaehyun…you stopped.”

“I did, didn’t I? I never realized that. I just wanted to spend more time with him but I never realized that I would isolate myself from a lot of people.” She sighed, “I’m not trying to say it’s his fault, it’s definitely mine for doing that but…well it’s complicated. Let’s talk about something else! About you! Do you have a girlfriend?”

“No.”

“Someone you like?”

“Yes.”

“Make sure to wrap it before you tap it, Mark. Don’t make dumb mistakes like I did.”

Mark rolled his eyes and laughed, “I’m not a kid Y/n and neither are you. Either way, I’m not so sure I’m getting anywhere with her to be honest.”

Y/n’s mouth slightly opened, in shock that Mark was actually telling her any of this and the other being a hint of jealousy, “You should go for it. She’ll be very lucky to-“

Mark leaned in, teeth and lips clashing into Y/n’s. He didn’t intend to be so ruff but he accidentally went in too fast. She didn’t move at first, that made Mark nervous. He pulled away, staring into her eyes, waiting, expecting for her to slap him or walk away but she just stared at him, wide-eyed.

“Mark?”

“You said to go for it so-“

Y/n reciprocated the kiss. Her hands caressing the sides of his face, slowly going to the back of his head. She pushed him closer, their bodies now touching. Mark was standing awkwardly with his hands glued to the sides of his body.

She guided them to her hips, with that, he gained some confidence and slowly roamed her body. “Mark, touch me. Don’t be scared.”

Mark nodded, kissing her again and putting his hands on her ass, up her back, then to her chest. It felt like this was just a dream, one of many that he has had. He wouldn’t be surprised if he were to open his eyes any time now.

He decided to text y/n, a little embarrassed by the situation because she was in her pajamas and Mark looked like he was dressed to go out.

“Nice outfit Mark. I thought we were practicing in the dorm?” Y/n looked at him from head to toe and laughed a little, “Am I underdressed?”

Mark blushed, hoping that it wasnt too obvious that he might have been treating this as a date, “No, no, not at all. Actually, well, no. I think I’m the one that’s overdressed. I have plans after this so yeah.”

“A date?” She said as she opened the door to their shared dorm and let him in. “I won’t keep you too long so don’t worry, you won’t be late.”
