Is there are reason why it’s “góðan daginn” and not “góðan dagur”?

There are a few layers to this question!

Góðan dagur would actually be grammatically nonsensical. Góðan is in the accusative case, but dagur is in the nominative; the cases of a noun and the adjectives applied to it need to agree, or you just get nonsense.

So why isn’t it simply góður dagur, with both words in the nominative? Well, you know how I’ve talked before about how if you state something in the accusative it becomes a request or wish or order for that thing, as with enga miskunn? Góður dagur is “a good day”, but that would simply be a statement that it is a good day. The accusative góðan daginn is a wish for the person you’re speaking to to have a good day - more appropriate for a greeting!

So then you might ask, why isn’t it just góðan dag? And it can be; that’s a slightly more polite, formal version that you’d be more likely to see in a speech or greeting a stranger you pass by on a walk without expecting more of a conversation. But with the definite article, góðan daginn becomes more casual-sounding and has a more fun rhythm to it, so that’s the one you’re more likely to hear in everyday speech. There are a few instances of definite articles making something more casual in Icelandic; I discussed it a bit with regards to possessives the other day.

i definitely see a!a/roiben's relationship changing a lot after the events of the game. getting tired of one another emotionally, still craving that physical connection. roiben especially tiring of the theatrics and the promiscuity (i feel like a!a would be promiscuous as a power grab, but that's just my mind palace). their relationship is something that happens only in the dark of night.

Some of the phrasing here is a bit odd; I'm not 100% sure if it's meant to parse differently somehow or if it's just weird phrasing. For instance, with "drýpur af", you would usually use the nominative case for the substance that is dripping and the dative case (which would usually come after "drýpur af") for what it's dripping off or out of. "Bikar heiftar" here could be in the dative case, since "bikar" is the same in the nominative and dative, and putting it in front of the verb works as poetic phrasing - but then we get "Hann drýpur af" at the end, with hann in the nominative. If that's not meant to be referring to the goblet, I don't know what else it could be referring to - it's not the right pronoun for heift (the substance that is presumably dripping from the goblet of hatred), because that's a feminine noun. But if it's referring to the goblet, being in the nominative suggests it's the goblet itself that is the dripping substance, which doesn't quite make sense. I'm not sure if it's their grammar being weird or if I'm just not quite grasping what they're going for.

The transcript could be off in a couple of places, but some of the transcripts I found online are plainly just nonsense, so please trust this one more than those.
