3.) Mishimoto Silver Thermostatic Oil Cooler Kit Ford Focus ST 2013-2018

After a few laps on the track or some aggressive street driving, turbocharged 4 cylinder engines like the 2.0L EcoBoost in the Focus ST are known to overheat oil quickly. Even with the stock liquid to liquid heat exchanger, the EcoBoost can still run hot and risk overheating the engine’s coolant. Aggressive tunes paired with some track miles can significantly overheat your oil and wear down your engine. Leave it to Mishimoto to come up with an oil cooling solution for your Focus ST!
The Mishimoto engineers started with a large 19-row oil cooler and mounted it in the front of the vehicle where it receives the most airflow. The oil cooler was mounted on the passenger side as to not interfere with some aftermarket air intake systems. Application-specific braided stainless steel lines transfer the oil from the cooler to the engine and feature -10AN fittings for an easy installation. Mishimoto engineers saw consistent temperature decreases of over 30°F (16.7°C) using our non-thermostatic sandwich plate. This proved that our oil cooler kit can withstand the stress of the most extreme applications.

WHY NOT JUST USE A SPACER?
There are many “BOV spacers” on the market that make noise. However, they do this simply by using the factory diverter valve and redirecting the air to atmosphere. Therefore, the performance deficiencies of the factory diverter valve design remain, and furthermore, the flow capacity of the factory diverter is significantly reduced because of the small venting holes used in these BOV spacers.
ECU VS VACUUM CONTROL
Other BOV kits eliminate the ECU control entirely, using pure manifold vacuum control instead. Whilst there’s nothing particularly wrong with this (that’s how the majority of BOVs work), the ECU control is MUCH FASTER, able to detect and respond to much SMALLER THROTTLE TRANSITIONS and, since it’s available, why wouldn’t you use it?
WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT OUR VENTING BIAS SYSTEM?
GFB’s patented Venting Bias Adjustment System is the only one of its kind in the world. By using an internal rotating sleeve, the opening of both the recirc port and the atmosphere port can be infinitely adjusted. This means that you’re not stuck with a fixed 50/50 or 100% atmosphere venting ratio; you can change it to whatever you want! As an additional benefit, because the atmosphere outlet is a single large port rather than a series of small holes, the venting sound is much DEEPER AND LOUDER than it is with a BOV spacer.

Here it is, the car that appeared the most in my blog and that never told anything about it.
W. Bonnie's Nissan Skylane GTS R33 (the cheap rwd version of the GTR R33)
Color: Midnight purple metallic (in the pucture is just purple, I couldnt find how to replicate the color).
Exterior: BBS LM rims (silver), Nismo 400R body kit and front conversión in painted carbon fiber, Nismo 400R hood in exposed carbon fiber, Nismo N1 exhaust, wing blade and side caps in exposed carbon fiber, side custom stripe vinil (400r stiled but with the text "Withered Bonnie" on the side-rear in black. Vinil color is violet and black).
Interior: automatic transmision interior, Recaro baket seats, Sparco 6 point black harness, Sparco MOD 345 3R Calice MSN steering wheel, aluminium adapted pedals.

…about 4.5 months ago…
the clutch feels nice, stiff but not so stiff it makes kicking it in feel difficult. even the 6 puck would probably be fine, i just dont want to try in traffic because this one is NOT fun when its stop and go.
the flywheel hasnt given too much of a change when driving, mostly when revving.
the intake has a nice whistle to it when i drive, i obviously dont feel more power because my car is NA, but it’s nice to know she has good suck now.
the lights are BEAUTIFUL imo and even though i was conflicted on the tails at first,,, im not anymore, theyre gorgeous! she also got some small aesthetic things like a mishimoto shift knob and reverse lockout adapter, a new shift boot, and some other things! just as a treat :)
hopefully here soon it doesnt rain as much, i want to give her another good wax session so she can shine again. all the dirt isnt terribly visible from a distance but the rain just keeps adding more.
i’ll try to have another update soon, otherwise i might just post some meet highlights.

Drop the charged air temperatures in your 2016+ Infiniti Q50/Q60 with the Mishimoto Performance heat exchanger. Air-to-water intercooling is the wave of the future when it comes to modern turbocharged vehicles, but calls for an additional heat exchanger on the front of the vehicle in order to dissipate the heat. The VR30DDTT equipped in the Q50 and Q60 is quite the performer, but the stock heat exchanger is the weak link in the chain that pulls you along. It’s a relatively small core to be dissipating the heat from two individual intercoolers. On top of that, the plastic end tanks that couple the lines to the core bring durability into question over the lifespan of the vehicle. In our quest to improve the air-to-water intercooling system on your Infiniti, we started by vastly increasing the core size on our Performance Heat Exchanger Design. Our new core design features a 196% increase in core volume and 97% increase in external fin surface area over the stock unit. In addition, our heat exchanger features an all-aluminum, TIG-welded construction for improved durability, as well as a removable outlet port and captive bleeder valve to help with installation. These improvements over the stock design result in a drop in outlet temperatures up to 21°F and cooler intake air temperatures. The Mishimoto 2016+ Infiniti Q50/Q60 3.0T Performance Heat Exchanger also includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for a worry-free installation.
