Funny story, Misha Collins Fans...

So, I was on Facebook. I was just hanging out, looking at stuff, and a notification comes up, telling me that  Misha Collins had sent a friend request. 

So, one of my biggest faults is that I tend to believe things immediately and make conclusions too quickly. I am working on it, and am better at dis-believing them just as quickly. However, being ever-so-slightly-gullible, and forgetting what Misha’s ACTUAL profile pic looked like, I, in a fan-girl haze, accepted it, believing it to actually be him. His first words:

I instantly know that it’s not Misha, without a doubt. What man, who has a beautiful family and wonderful friends, goes out and seeks attention from random women on the internet? After kicking myself for thinking for even a MOMENT that this was Misha, I investigate. This guy has NO information about himself on his page. He has seven friends, all female, and his posts are pictures blatantly stolen from real Misha’s twitter/facebook, etc. One of the albums is captioned ‘my lovely daughter’ with no sign of Misha’s daughter actually in the photos. I didn’t look through them all, but you don’t see her at first glance. Another album is captioned “Supernatural” with the first photo from the new show Timeless! So, I stay on, and I decide to put on a show and see what he wants. Here’s our conversation:

I have no idea what this means, whether he wants me to show myself, or if he wants my email address, money, I don’t know. I’ll keep you posted. What do you think? Am I going too far? Should I end it before it gets bad? I’m trying to be careful, but I just don’t know. I've never dealt with an imposter before.

update: so I haven’t heard from them in days, so I’m assuming whatever scam they were trying to pull they didn’t want to go through with it, so I’m just going to unfriend them. update update: never mind, they and the messages are nowhere to be found. Either they’ve deleted their account or have blocked me xD guess that didn’t go well.
