I shouldn't be allowed to rewatch Inuyasha. I get ideas from the ending song scenes.
How did this only take me a day and half.
Irene technically should have her hair ribbon in for the first one, but... I really wanted to draw her with the flowy hair. Flowy hair makes me happy. It's so pretty. (The self-restraint it took to not draw the Inugang with their hair flowing in the breeze... haaaaaah...) Maybe it could be interpreted as Sess looking at her hair flowing and deciding to get her the hair ribbon. Who knows? Anyways, these were inspired by the ending songs Dearest and Come My Way, otherwise known as EDs 3 and 7.
(This is my new laptop background, aslfkkldfkjdlkfj, sorry Sidon)

Darn I was hoping for a ficlet lol. I thought I could get you cuz it does sound like something from Mating Fever. You are correct, it was Toddler Tizzy but Inuyasha was talking to himself not Miroku
It really does 😂 but I'm gonna still give you something cause I forgot the details of my own fic~ This is another one that I've had in my server for nearly a year; there's definitely more to it, but this feels like a oneshot, so here's a sample ❤
Flirting With Disaster
Sango stared at the flyer, then looked up at the boy before her. He was an adult, of course, but in that moment Miroku looked far too happy to present the neon xerox copy paper to her. “And the point of this is..?”
“Free food?” Kagome leaned over her shoulder to read the flyer. “It’s a good-sized gift card that goes to each participating club –”
“You’re missing the best part –”
“Keh. Stringing along a bunch of women to win a contest for food’s a shitty thing to do. If you want something to blow up in your face all you have to do is look down when you –”
Miroku produced another flyer from his pocket and quickly slapped it over Inuyasha’s mouth. The hanyou growled, making the paper vibrate against his palm, but he held on. Just because Sango knew on some scale that he…had moments…it was something else entirely for his friend to out him in public. Indigo eyes met amber ones and he silently pleaded that Inuyasha not finish that sentence. A moment passed, and he gingerly took away the flyer.
“As I was trying to say –” he frowned at the state of the flyer, glancing at the retreating hanyou. Inuyasha had stepped away to put in their order, but Miroku knew he would still hear their conversation. “Dude, you drool. Anyway, what I wanted to say was that the best part about this contest is that it allows for club members to get out there on campus and network! It’s always good to network with our peers that arent affiliated with a club, especially since our senior members will move on and create new openings.”
Kagome had taken the flyer from Sango, who wanted to return to her lunch. She reached out and felt for her own cup of fries. It was only supposed to be the two of them, but Miroku and Inuyasha had also picked the same fast food joint to pick up lunch for their group. And whenever the dark haired man saw her friend, he made a b-line for her, no matter what was going on around him.
God help the drivers on the road if he ever saw Sango across heavy traffic.
“I found a flaw in your logic,” Kagome told Miroku. “This says that you have to be the club that has the greatest number of people of the opposite sex. You can’t have an all-male organization network a bunch of women,” she quirked an eyebrow at him. He was about to open his mouth to counter her point. “I wouldn’t think a man in a happy relationship would want to participate in something such as this?”
“The food, my friend! The food –”
Sango had been trying to take a sip of her drink and couldn’t contain her laughter any longer. “Oh please, quit trying to act like you’re in it for only the food. You want the glory of being the one guy on campus whose strung along as many women as possible.”
“You wound me, love.”
Three large paper bags were dropped on the table next to Miroku, and Inuyasha stood with his hands in his pockets looking bored. “Your girlfriend’s right.”
“What do you think, Inuyasha?”
He looked down at Kagome, who looked at the flyer longer than he expected. For all of the remarks, she wasn’t considering it, was she? “Uh… thing is… this dickhead already… signed our club up.” To make matters worse, the minimum number of people required in a club to participate in this challenge was five – the exact number of members they had. ‘If that kitsune had still been in high school I wouldn’t be subjected to this bullshit.’
#inuyasha#kagome#sango#miroku#inuyasha fanfic#lot of details I still need to figure out but it'll be a fun read I hope

Soulful Jewel- (Yandere!Sesshomaru x Reader) pt 3
Warnings: yandere relationship, yandere temper, yandere behavior, hurt, betrayal, confrontation, rage, aggressive behavior, yandere behavior, blood, fighting, arguing, not proofread (I probably should get a proofreader at some point)
~~~~~~~~
"So, do you have a big animal form, Lady (Y/n)?"
You glanced over at the little girl that sat on the back of Ah-Un as your group of mismatched ends traveled together. Rin had always been good company during your travels and always seemed to know when you got too lost in your mind and needed a way out. Ever since your mutual Lord both claimed and showed his interest and power over you, you had found yourself feeling more attached to the dog demon.
Despite the less than kind way he had approached you about the subject, you felt an inherent need to stay near him. It felt as if you were bound to him in more ways than one even as you traveled with him and his group. From returning you to life after your sacrifice, to teaching you how to be a demon in feudal Japan, Sesshomaru had done more to help you than hurt you overall.
Now you were pulled from your thoughts by the innocent enough inquiry of the little girl you sacrificed your old life for. It was a good question, did you have an animalistic form? She had spoken about Sesshomaru's dog form several times prior and it made you wonder if you would have a similar fox form. There was also a chance that your form could become less human as you aged and the animalistic features would show through your humanoid form then.
"I don't know, Rin. I think it could be possible."
"Well, why don't you try it now? I'm sure if you try, you could-"
It was then Sesshomaru actually spoke up, Rin quickly silencing herself to hear what he had to say.
"It is still too early in her growth as a demon to attempt such a thing. Should she try and actually succeed she will likely become feral with power and instinct. It is not something to attempt lightly and without good reason."
"Oh," Rin started, "okay, M'Lord!"
It was while Rin was turned to look ahead that you caught a scent on the wind that stopped you in your tracks. Something was painfully familiar about this scent and it made a mixture of emotions well up inside of you, bringing with it a rush of energy that seemed to hum within you. memories came unbidden to the front of your mind as they flashed and played in short clips.
Kagome smiling at you by the campfire.
Songo polishing her giant boomerang.
Shippo curled up against Kirara's side.
Miroku cooking up fish.
Inuyasha training fiercely.
Each memory sent emotions flooding your senses, but they were all overshadowed by pain and with that pain came anger. A burning and broiling rage filled you as you remembered all the injustices done against you by the group and that rage poisoned your mind. The faintest of burns came from where you keep your soul made jewel as you felt a change overcome you.
You heard a voice somewhere near you, but that seemed to be so distant from your mind that you couldn't even focus on what it was saying. All you felt was rage and all you could hear was the blood pounding in your ears. Nothing mattered beyond reaching the source of your pain and putting an end to it.
It wasn't long before you were racing through the forest, headed towards those familiar scents with nothing more than rage on your mind. There was little sound that met your ears other than the profound snapping of branches from your vicious flight forward. A clearing was coming closer as you raced forward, but the moment you burst into the opening another creature slid before you.
A white dog-demon with a purple crescent moon in the center of his forehead snarled at you in warning, his fangs bared and head low. Beyond the dog demon's figure stood a surprised group and their simple presence made a furious growl erupt from within. The dog demon looked over at whatever it was you were snarling at and some kind of understanding seemed to dawn upon him as he turned back to you.
"Enough, (y/n), the human woman isn't worth this rage."
"That bitch left me for dead! I have a right to confront her!"
"As your mate I am demanding you stand down. Back off, (y/n)."
"Never."
He actually seemed surprised at your snarled response and refusal to back down, his demonic aura lessening as his form began to shift back. The group behind the two of you actually reacted now to Sesshomaru who still stood with his back turned to them. Inuyasha was first to draw his blade and prepare for a fight with his elder brother.
"Stand down, half-breed. The vixen doesn't need you or your human pet angering her further."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
It was then you cut in, your voice raw and full of pain. Now the group could hear you as well and it was clear the sound of your voice unsettled them.
"It means you killed me! And when you were done you bastards just left me there! You all deserve the same treatment you gave me!"
"Why the hell do you sound like (y/n)? Answer me damn it!"
"Because I am (y/n)!"
It was then a blue flame surrounded you and you easily leaped past Sesshomaru, ready to dig your teeth into Inuyasha. But as you snapped your fangs, another weight pulled you back. Sesshomaru was back in his dog demon form and was preventing you from letting your rage take control. Even as you struggled to free yourself and felt all of your frustrations mounting, you couldn't escape the larger and more experienced dog demon.
Despite how he didn't seem to believe you at first, Inuyasha took a quick sniff and as the scent registered to his brain the blade fell from his hand. His response told the others that your words were true as they all now looked at your angrily struggling form, trying desperately to snap them with your fangs but unable to move beyond the limited range Sesshomaru gave you. Even as you struggled and cried out, you began to exhaust yourself.
"She's a demon..? But how? That doesn't even make any sense, she died-!"
"Inuyasha," Kagome now spoke, her eyes wide with sorrow and disbelief, "her chest. She- she has the full Shikon jewel!"
"Wait, but what about those shards you have? How does she have them?"
"I still have them right here! But how can she have..?"
You continued to struggle against Sesshomaru's hold, finding yourself unable to break away from the demon dog. Eventually your form began to melt back into what it had been prior. Were you had seen paws with the same white-prismatic color fur that your hair now was, they returned to hands. The muzzle you could see clearly in your peripheral sunk back into the form of your regular nose. Even the size that you had gained began to lessen until you were easily pinned by a paw from Sesshomaru's dog form. He too returned to his other form, continuing to keep you down and preventing you from reaching the group you once called your friends.
"Wait," Songo now spoke, her boomerang falling from her hands as she refused to try and fight you, "do you think she did the same as the first priestess who created the Shikon jewel? Could it be possible she created one too the day she died? It could make sense, but it doesn't explain why she is a demon now..."
"It doesn't matter, we can take it now."
Even as your will to fight receded, your rage still burned poisonously as you growled and snarled towards the group. Before they could react, Sesshomaru snapped at them, his tone more irritated and enraged than you had ever heard it before.
"Keep your filth-covered claws off, Inuyasha. She created that jewel with her sacrifice, it is not yours to freely take. I am keeping this vixen from slaughtering those she valued as a human, do not think for a second I will not allow her to act on her justly formed rage should you try to take what is not yours."
Inuyasha almost seemed like he was going to try and argue or fight with Sesshomaru, but a quick glance at you made him pause. He had been the cause of your untimely demise and his need to chase down Naraku was why he hadn't even noticed what happened. When Kagome told him later about the fact that you had been caught in the wind-scar, he truly felt he was to blame for your death.
Inuyasha had killed you. The others had left your body behind. Kagome had decided to leave you where your body lay in order to help the others. They had abandoned you and you were rightfully furious with them.
"Try to calm yourself, my mate. These humans and the half-breed are not worth being so upset over."
"They killed me and left me behind. I have the right to be as upset as I want to be!"
Kagome- upon hearing your words- burst into tears and hid her face, shame weighing upon her heavily. The others struggled to look at you, even as you fought against Sesshomaru's hold and continued to rant angrily at them. They all were to blame and everyone knew it.
A quiet part of you recognized that leaving you behind was the best move, as Sesshomaru was the only one you knew of who could reunite a departed soul and their body. That quiet piece also understood that you had entered the wind-scar voluntarily in order to save Rin from the same fate. Despite how that logic existed in your mind, you knew you still had a right to be angry.
Still, it was obvious Sesshomaru was not going to allow you to kill the ones that killed you. That fact alone cooled your boiling rage to a simmer and as you stopped fighting, his hold on you lessened. Eventually he was the one helping you up to your feet, keeping himself between you and the group you once called friend.
Your hand rest where your jewel sat, feeling it thrum in response to your light touch against the smooth surface. Even though your rage had calmed, you still held the burning hate inside of you. Perhaps it had been that hate and resentment paired with the roaming Kitsune soul that turned you to the demon you were now.
"If I ever see any of you again, I will not hesitate. Sesshomaru won't always be there to hold me back from my vengeance, so sleep with one eye open."
Cuddling — Day two of Inukag Fluff Week
Second one shot for @inukagfluffweek! This one is set in canon, and probably a little more on the hurt/comfort side.
Keeping an eye on Kagome was second nature for Inuyasha. After all, if there wasn’t food on her plate, she’d grow hungry and Jewel shards hunting would be interrupted. If there wasn’t a fire to keep her warm, she’d be too tired to go on. If they were caught in a downpour without shelter, she’d get sick. If she kept going when her legs hurt, the next day would be hell. So he got her food, he built the fire, he found the shelter, he carried her on his back. Not ‘cause he cared, though, well, he did care, a little bit, the normal amount, whatever that was, but for purely practical reasons.
That meant he figured out early on that something was wrong. He couldn’t pinpoint what for the life of him, though.
He’d added wood to the fire. He’d caught and cooked a rabbit. He’d carried her on his back half the day, holding her two-wheeled thing in one hand. He’d even offered his services in ridding some farmer of pesky yokai, so they’d get to sleep in a barn for once. Sure, he wasn’t Miroku, and he couldn’t secure them a place in some luxury house, but he was trying his best, ‘kay? Miroku wasn’t around anyway, and Kagome had never complained about luxuries before.
And still, when everything should have been fine, something was clearly wrong. Kagome kept looking in the distance, eyes turning glassy, mouth curving downward as she buried herself in her thought, keeping him so, so far away from her even if she was sitting right next to him.
Inuyasha had no damn clue how to fix it.
“What is it this time?” he snapped at last as she was finishing her food in silence, taking small, slow bites, and she jumped at the sound of his voice. Her wide brown eyes focused on him at last, and that simple action was grounding enough for him that he would almost have felt sorry for his outburst.
Almost.
“What’s wrong?” she asked, and the immediate frown on her face told him she was not to be messed with right now — too bad he didn’t care, at this point.
“What’s wrong with you, you mean,” he scoffed, folding his arms and shaking his head. “You’ve been sulking for days. So tell me how to fix it, or just stop doing that already!”
If he’d been self-aware enough for that, he would no doubt have realized how childish he sounded. Kagome could have, too, but instead, her face flushed.
“I’m fine!” she replied, her voice too high-pitched to be convincing. “It’s not your problem anyway, so just forget about it!”
“How is it not my problem when you’re all—” He gestured at her, frustrated. “—and it’s a pain to travel!”
“Well if it’s a pain to travel with me, why don’t you just go with someone else?” she replied, raising her voice a little more.
“Because I don’t want to travel with someone else!” he yelled back. “I just want you to tell me how to not make it hard for you!”
She went quiet then, uncharacteristically so, red spreading to her ears, and Inuyasha growled under his breath, muttering to himself. He wasn’t sure what to do with this quiet Kagome. If she needed to scream at him to feel better, well, she could get on with that, and at least then she’d be fixed or whatever, but even picking a fight wasn’t working, damn it.
“I’m sorry,” Kagome whispered at last, and Inuyasha started like he’d been stung by a bee. Uh, yeah, not good. She didn’t do that. Even when she was in the wrong, she needed her time and space to calm down, and then she’d apologize, often while bringing him an offering of ramen. She never turned down a fight with an immediate apology.
That was when the tears came.
“I’m sorry,” she repeated, sniffing.
“Wh— No— Don’t—” he pleaded, voice cracking, but she paid him no attention.
“I just— It’s been a very long year, you know? And I— I— I miss my mom,” she finally broke, waterfalls on her cheeks, quiet sobs wracking her body as she wrapped her arms around her knees.
Inuyasha froze. He reached out for her without thinking, overwhelmed by the need to make it stop, make it better, make her better, make it so she’d never ever cry again, but his fingers curled up before he could touch her, caught by some other part of his instinct.
“W-why didn’t you just say so! You can just— you can just go home then!” he scoffed, trying very hard to sound annoyed, but he couldn’t keep the worry out of his voice.
“But we’ve been on the road for days,” Kagome sniffed, “and it would take days to go back, and we haven’t found that stupid Jewel shard, and I just want her to give me a hug, and—”
“Ha, well I-I can do that too! You could have asked me!”
That made Kagome stop crying for long enough to give him a blank stare.
“Come on, Inuyasha. I’m not going to force you to hug me.”
“W-who said anything about forcing me!”
“Well you don’t look thrilled about it,” she said, doubtful, and at least she was crying a lot less now, but her eyes and nose were still read and he wasn’t going to let that slide, was he?
“J-just— just don’t move, okay?”
Clumsily, despite how careful he was being, he put both arms around her, awkwardly tugging her until he’d brought her against his chest. He was barely touching her, his arms forming a misshaped circle hovering around her. He’d hugged her before, but it had been an impulsive action, not one he’d thought about. He— had no idea how to do it intentionally.
Against his chest, Kagome giggled.
“You have to actually hug me, you know? Like that.”
She did it without hesitation, wrapping her arms around him. Closing her eyes, she rested her head against his, and this time when he froze, there were very different emotions running within him. On the top of his head, his ears were twitching, all his senses alert, taking in her breathing that was getting more even, her smell, her breath against his skin. Swallowing, he finally brought himself to close his arms around her, and she sighed contentedly.
“See?” she asked. “That’s nice, isn’t it?”
He could barely reply around the knot in his throat. She felt so soft against him, so delicate. His half-demon strength would make it so, so easy to break her in half — and she knew that. Her warmth was spreading through him, from his chest and face to the root of his hair and the tip of his toes. Everything he felt was Kagome. With great care, he ran his fingers through her hair, not wanting his claws to cut through them by accident. She shivered, tilted her head forward a little to give him better access. Mesmerized, he kept going. Her hair felt soft between his fingers, silky.
Everything about this was calming. And she’d been right. It was nice.
It caught him by surprise when she moved, entangling herself from him.
“Thanks, Inuyasha,” she said, sniffing again. “I’m feeling better. It was nice of you to— Oh!”
He pulled her back into him, this time with a tighter grip.
“You said you needed a hug, so I’m giving you one that’ll last you until I can get you back to your time,” he said gruffly. “Now just sleep, ‘kay?”
Her laugh vibrated through his chest, and he found it to be the best thing he’d ever felt.
“Okay,” she said. “Thanks, Inuyasha.”
He would have told her that he was just doing it so she’d be in the mood for shard hunting the next day, but if she’d called him out, he would never have been able to lie with a straight face, so he chose not to.
‘cause truth be told, now that he was experiencing it, he thought he’d needed that hug at least as much as her.
Don't have ideas for the upcoming themes so this will probably be my last entry for the week! Thank you all for the love on yesterday's entry, hope you've enjoyed this one as well, and I'll see you when I see you!
Sneek Peek of the next Forest Deep chapter! (Not proof-read)
Loss was… something Inuyasha was well-acquainted with.
He knew what it was like to lose a loved one. He knew what it was like to lose someone he thought he could trust. He knew what it was like to love and not trust, and to have that love and distrust thrown back in his face. He knew what it was like to love and lose, because he had done it several times before, and each time was more painful than the last. His entire childhood was spent running and hiding in fear, trying desperately to stay alive, because all he had known had left him and the world was intent on getting rid of him too.
Inuyasha spent a very long time avoiding people because of this before the day Kagome came into his life. She taught him to love and trust again, to have faith in others. It was because of her he has friends like Sango, Miroku, Shippō, and Kirara now.
But… with Irene- at first, he had trouble allowing himself to get close to her. He firmly believed she would just be yet another grave to dig. He didn’t see the point in letting himself care, since she would be six feet beneath the ground soon enough.
She proved him wrong, though.
Oh, Irene proved Inuyasha so very wrong, and before he knew it he began to care. It felt like they were far too different to get along, but in truth they were actually far too much alike. That was why… he believed she’d be fine; that she could handle things on her own. Despite her illness, or maybe even because of it, she was much tougher than people would think when they looked at her. She was more stubborn than any pack mule or bull demon. In Inuyasha’s eyes, Irene had a thirst for survival.
A talent for it.
In a world where everything and everyone will try to reject you, just because you’re different and because you don’t look like them, she fought to survive. Irene never let anything or anyone keep her down. She clawed her way to freedom, to life, and pushed ever onwards, not slowing down once- even if it led to her suffering fevers or colds or particularly bad wounds. She was a fighter, even though her talents were more suited for healing.
He was… proud to call her a friend. And that’s why…
Inuyasha could hardly believe she was dead.
“…Sesshōmaru went after her.” He finally said after way too long of a pause. Sango inhaled sharply, her gaze intense as she whipped her head around to stare at him. Inuyasha could feel the eye of his friends boring into him, his mouth oddly dry as a bitter taste formed on his tongue. He felt a little light-headed, and he dazedly wondered if the pungent smell of Irene’s blood mixed with Naraku’s miasma was becoming too much for him. “He was… there, at the castle, to save her.”
Why, he still didn’t know. None of it made sense to him.
“If… If he… actually cares about Irene, then…”
Gods, why does Inuyasha feel so ill?
Miroku stepped forward, understanding dawning on his features as his blue eyes grew wide before quickly narrowing, a frown pulling across his lips. “Inuyasha, tell me; you don’t honestly believe Sesshōmaru is capable of wielding the tenseiga, do you?”
At his inquiry, Inuysaha’s ears drew back and his lips curled, fangs bared. His claws dug into his palms once more, drawing blood with his bad his fists were shaking, and everyone jolted and jumped, looking on at the half-demon in surprise, when he suddenly let out a loud growl and barked out, practically shouting, his expression hidden as he hung his head low, “Of course I don’t!”
The trees around them shuddered and shook, several birds flying out from the comfort and protection of the leaves out of fright from the loud noise, his voice echoing in the sky for quite some time. Inuyasha was trembling. He was furious. He was ashamed. He didn’t know what it was he was feeling.
There was so much confusion, so much… contradiction.
It felt as if everything he had known up until this point had been some kind of lie.
“Inuyasha…” Kagome curled a hand close to her chest. Her brows furrowed in her concern, her brown eyes shimmering with untold sadness. She knew he was hurting. She knew the thought of Sesshōmaru helping a human hurt him, as he had rejected him for so long because of his human blood. But she also knew she didn’t truly know just how deep that pain reached.
“Sesshōmaru is a monster.” Inuyasha hissed. “He doesn’t have the heart to care about others. But…”
Shippō moved to jump and climb up on Kagome’s arm so he could sit on her shoulder, and once perched there he gazed at the half-demon with big green eyes, concerned and curious by what was going on in his mind. “But… what?”
Throughout all this, Maria was completely silent.
Inuyasha couldn’t bring himself to finish his train of thought. He felt like he would throw up if he tried. The idea that Sesshōmaru had somehow softened after the last time he had tried to kill him- it felt… like some kind of fever dream.
Inuyasha was just so convinced it was impossible.
Sure, they were brothers- but only on their father’s side of the family. They had nothing in common. Sesshōmaru spent most of Inuyasha’s life trying to kill him. After doing all of that, after trying to erase Inuyasha’s existence from the world so he wouldn’t have to live with the knowledge that he had a half-demon for a brother, a brother with mortal blood, how was Inuyasha supposed to believe Sesshōmaru cared about his incredibly human friend?
Irene was… the most human a human has ever been.
She was so weak, so frail, so sickly, and yet fought so hard just to survive. She showed kindness when others would show cruelty. She gave forgiveness when others would demand vengeance. She was soft. There’s no way Sesshōmaru could ever… care about someone like her.
Furthermore, knowing him, how was Inuyasha supposed to believe that Sesshōmaru could care enough about anyone or anything to actually use tenseiga? Only one with a compassionate heart could wield that sword; there’s just no way Sesshōmaru actually had a change of heart.
Right…?
Irene had a way with others, sure. There was that headman from Kasasagi Town who fell for her after she forgave him for imprisoning and hurting her. She even somehow managed to get one of the people who kidnapped and tried to sacrifice her to fall in love with her. Tōran is probably still at Kaede’s village waiting for Irene to return so they can talk, or maybe just to try and steal another surprise kiss from her. Inuyasha doesn’t know and doesn’t really care.
But Sesshōmaru wasn’t like other people. He was ruthless. Brutal. Cruel. He didn’t have a heart to care.
So why was he at the castle? Who was the little kid? Why did he bring that dragon, if not to carry the kid and Irene out of there and to somewhere safe? He rarely ever uses it.
It just didn’t make any sense to Inuyasha.
“Irene…” Sango began, realization flashing in her eyes. “Irene said that Sesshōmaru helped her before. And then there was that time with the Panther Demons…”
“Sesshōmaru hates humans,” Miroku noted, bringing a hand thoughtfully to his chin, “but when it comes to Irene, he’s always there to help. Why is that?”
Poor Shippō looked so confused. “Wait, so do we think Sesshōmaru used tenseiga on Irene? Or not?”
A small noise from the transformed Kirara made it obvious that she believed the demon lord did.
Sango stood and walked over to the rest of them, resting her free hand atop her demon companion’s head. An unreadable look was in her eyes as she scratched behind Kirara’s ears. Everything Irene had once told her about the demon lord was coming to mind now, and it left her with the strangest feeling in her chest. “Maybe… Maybe Sesshōmaru does care about Irene. At least enough to want her alive. I can’t imagine him going out of his way to save her a third time otherwise.”
All of this was so… weird.
Lifting her gaze, Sango turned to stare at Inuyasha again- the boy chancing a glance at her out of the corner of his eye, over his shoulders. To the demon slayer, who had been informed how badly Sesshōmaru had treated him in the past, and had seen them fight at least once, Inuyasha looked like a frightened dog.
He was afraid.
Not for Irene, who- deep down- he knew was alive, but of the idea that Sesshōmaru had somehow changed. The person he despised more than anything, perhaps even more than Naraku himself.
Sango remembered all too clearly the way Inuyasha had lashed out at Irene before when she said she didn’t hate Sesshōmaru. When she said she had actually felt safe with him. The idea that Sesshōmaru could have had a change of heart, and was no longer the ruthless demon Inuyasha grew up with- grew up avoiding, grew up trying to survive against- was… terrifying to him. It was like the world he thought he understood was coming crashing down around him.
Because if Sesshōmaru’s heart actually changed for the better, if he was actually going out of his way to save Irene- Inuyasha’s friend- then that meant Inuyasha would have to feel gratitude towards him. One of his best friends would be alive because of the half-brother that had so-often wanted him dead.
But… that doesn’t erase the past.
Sango wonders if Inuyasha realizes that. If he knows that, just because Sesshōmaru has the capacity to care now and even cares about one of their friends, it doesn’t mean the scars of the past will vanish. Inuyasha is still allowed to hate him. He’s allowed to hold a grudge.
Sesshōmaru had been awful to him.
Just because there will be gratitude to the demon lord for saving Irene, that doesn’t mean Inuyasha has to forgive him.
“Inuyasha…” The bloodied mask felt heavy in Sango’s hand, but she didn’t set it down. Her features shifted into something gentler, yet still so very sad. “It’s okay.”
The half-demon said nothing.
“It’s okay to hate Sesshōmaru.”
I was going to post a sneak peek of the Sess-gang and Irene bit but I was like, nah, let's share the Inu-angst instead. Hopefully Inuyasha's feelings make sense here.
Part two of the yandere u-20 team please :DD
" 𝕆𝕦𝕣𝕤" Yandere Japan U-20 Pt.2
~ This is a part 2! Check out part 1 here! ~
After a weeks of total chaos, Filled with surprises. You were exhausted, mentally and physically. Spending the days being dragged to do things and spend time with the team members. You spent hours with Miroku analyzing Buddhist texts, He loved how you listened and praised his spiritual abilities and sometimes his physical abilities. Just to be dragged away by Teru, asking you to watch him play and his tricks. Sendo butting in and bragging how he was the ace and that you should watch him play. To always keep your eyes on him when he plays. Because he plays for you.
They adored when you would help them with their hair, Hayate and Itsuki were blushing messes when you parted their hair or combed it. When you ran your fingers through it... God they wanted to grab you there and kiss you until you begged for breath.
Of course you have a life outside all of this, Friends...Family..Loved ones. One day you had came into work with what looked like..Some ring? Perhaps just jewelry..But you looked so happy..? Had one of the players beat the other to slipping a ring on your finger..? Teppei wasted not time asking you about it in front of everyone. You explained that it was a promise ring! How you had been in love and that you were promising yourself to some guy.
Their faces were all neutral with slight boredom, Like square one. You just smiled and walked off to fill out more due papers. Oliver turned around walked to the nearest wall and drove his fist into it. Leaving cracks and a hole. Everyone in the team knew they had to do something about it. Nio was fuming the whole time, Some guy comes in and slips a ring on your finger? Hell no. Hell no. Through some cyber stalking Mostly done by Cho and Hayate due to their calm and collected nature and narrowing it down, They found the guy.
They were famous athletes, If they wanted something they were going to get it. And in a blink of an eye, Your beloved had to leave the country for..Unknown reasons. You were devastated, Just a small note with a lousy goodbye. You didn't come into work that day, You stayed in bed between sobs and small naps. Your hair was messy and you were only half dressed. With some small shorts and a small top hung over your shoulder. You didn't care, You had no motivation to do anything.
You heard a loud knock at the door and you slowly walked tot he door. Just to be greeted by teppei! Your eyes lit up in a special kind of way. His smile dropped a little to see your condition. The way you looked so drained because of some nobody.. You enjoyed the moment to see him just to notice Teru in your peripheral vision bolting towards you again suffocating you in a hug. For more and more members to grab you and inhale that smell of yours. While some stood back and admired you.
You noticed some of them glancing at your clothing and you hurried away to change into something more fitting. They were all in their U-20 jackets and pants. You fit yourself into some casual's quickly and rushed into your bathroom mirror to get your hair together, You noticed Hayate walking towards you and standing behind you so close. His large figure towering over you behind him. "Do you need any help..With your hair?" You nodded and he did his best to fix it up. To feel your hair between his fingers was incredible. The others watching with a slight glare.
They had taken you out to dinner and karaoke and it was lovely. Most of you didn't have any liquor but the room was spinning and everyone started to get blurry. You stopped for a moment. You were sweating and you felt exhausted. Everyone just seemed to stare at you worry written on their faces. You collapsed from exhaustion and Sendo caught you in his arms. "It's fine, Just tired we should get 'em home." They took you home and laid you down softly. Watching you sleep. Itsuki tucked you in sweetly but they didn't leave. Seeing your chest rise up and down.. You were hypnotizing to them..They weren't going to let you give up. You belong to them. They're going to be taking very, very, very good care of you no matter what you say or do.
