Fandom is so exciting! It’s a blessing to be part of fandom and to get to simp for your faves with other people who share similar lists, especially since there are so many to pick from! 

Seeing your list of faves lengthen, shorten and develop over time is exciting, but when was the last time you really looked at your list and decided how much of it is truly based on your interest, or if you’re just a victim of the dash? 

Just how basic are you? Are you a flavor of the month type or is there a healthy amount of diversity? Are you selective? 

This game is easy. I’ll give you a bunch of fandoms, and you’ll simply tally how many you get at the end. There are some special conditions at the end, so make sure you read to the very bottom if you play!

Update (8/26) and A Question to You All

First order of business! Oof, babes. I got jump scared 😅

Alright, moving on...

I'm finishing Seaside this weekend. It's almost done. Well, more like halfway. But I can bust out a few thousand more words in *checks watch* four days' time. It's practically a done deal. I'm not at all setting myself up for failure with this strict time constraint.

No siree.

I anticipate having REARRANGED updated by NEXT Friday/Saturday, not this upcoming one. Whether this comes to fruition or not depends entirely on my ability to buckle down and NOT get distracted by my ADHD. I make no solid promises because I'm a disaster person.

The next item on my agenda is Crimson Chapter 3. I've bumped up the chapter count because there was so, so much tsundere!Suguru interacting with Reader-chan that I didn't have the willpower to cut any of it. We now have 4 chapters of our Vampire Knight/JJK fusion AU.... I'm a simp for mean guys, what can I say?

Then another REARRANGED the next week, and the end of Crimson the week after that.

I'm a busy bee this month. But I have so much to catch up on.

Once I finish my two smaller WIPs, I have a maddening desire to break out of the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom for a few smaller side projects while writing REARRANGED. I'm leery, given that JJK is where my main audience is. I wouldn't want to alienate any of my regular readers. I'd still probably do CanonXReader fics because they soothe my self-indulgent needs. But, man, I want to dabble in other fandoms so baaaad.

So, my question to those of you who keep up with my works, are there any characters from this list that you'd like to see more of in the future?

My takes on Hawks in MHUR

First his design is wonderful 😮‍💨 I’m simping hard his wings look beautiful 😍 and his voice 🤭 (mines in Japanese).

Okay now skill wise his Alpha is good but it’s too slow for my preference it’s kinda like Toga’s knives but with Dabi’s speed I’d prefer fast shoot style but I also love the tracking cause it’s lore accurate.

His Beta sucks ass yes it’s good and does good damage but I literally can’t stop it so I just end up running into walls and shit 😭 they need to develop a way to cancel it.

I love his Gamma it’s very lore accurate where he’ll make a feather dome and essentially one of the feather will attached themselves to a player so you can track them for a bit, in my experience it’s kinda like Mirio’s beta also doesn’t last very long.

His special is good and ass, the good wise is the whole being able to fly around really fast the ass part is that you can pick up teammates just randomly but not when they’re downed :/ I think it would’ve been better if you could pick up downed teammates like Deku, All Might, Froppy, Compress and Iida, and then just fly them away.

He’s still an awesome character to play and pretty hard to beat 😭 especially if you have no movement but he is now my main no matter how much I suck as him cause I love him 😤

Top 10 MHA characters

Ooooh this is a fun one~! Gonna go off overall favs rather than on anything more specific~! Warning spoilers ahead too

Lady Nagant ~ Ughhh one of very few ladies I truly simp for, and considering getting my hair dyed similar to hers~! That said I also love her story and the role she played within it~

All Might ~ honestly he's just insanely funny to me, from his ringtone being himself to all the fun little "I am here!" Moments.

Tokoyami - is he a little bit of an edgelord, yes. Is he actually a well written character, without a doubt.

Himiko Toga - Another interesting character that I think is a unique take on a villain.

Dabi and Shoto - Both share the same spot as they reflect one another in my opinion, especially from the pressure put on them by their father and how they both turned out so differently.

Overhaul - a beautiful example of obsession taking over and becoming a zealot to ones own ideals and beliefs, going so far as to abandon his own humanity for them.

Kirishima - he earns this spot purely for his role in the Overhaul Arc, the fact he has such a simple quirk but puts it to such versatile uses. That and I love that he's such a good counterbalance for Bakugo.

Midorya and Gentle Criminal - another paired spot for two characters that mirror one another in a way, something actually noted by Midorya. There's a lot to unpack here that I'll leave for a more detailed review but I'm a sucker for characters that are willing to lay it all on the line for their beliefs. That and a gentlemanly villain is always a trope I adore~

Mr Compress - a perfectly executed support character who's entire quirk and personality are so complimentary to each other and his role within the League of Villains/Paranormal Liberation Army.

Twice - Another character that I think is so wonderfully written, with an insanely powerful quirk that's limited by his own mind, though I love we get to see just what his power can really do when unlocked. I would easily argue Twice is one of very few characters I could go into so much depth with, that isn't one of the main characters.

Honourable Mention: Aizawa - to quote Shigaraki, "God he's so cool". From an insanely versatile quirk, his use of his binding cloth and cool demeanor earns him a mention. My absolute favourite of all the teachers in the show.

Honourable Mention: Mirio - A true hero, through and through. From his finely honed quirk to his pure golden retriever vibe, I love Mirio so much, especially when he joined the fray during the ending of the Liberation War arc.

On an off note, MHA is going to be getting a full and detailed review when the anime finishes, but until then this will have to do. I didn't want to waffle on too much but I think I might also do character studies on a few of them too when the anime finishes up~

Hello and welcome to Day 13 of "Let's Explore My Plot Bunnies"

I have been a bit under the weather so this is a bit later than I would have liked to post but oh well...

As I said in yesterday's post, today I will talk about another My Hero Academia System AU, but this time, Izuku is unlucky to be actually trapped (alongside other people - OCs mostly) into a System that gives them a series of tests with the very real possibility of them dying during said tests.

This idea is heavily inspired by the novel (and manhwa) "Global Examination" - which I urge you to check out cause it is awesome.

The title for this fic is: System 16-564-53

(The title is kinda important for the story so if you wanna, try deciphering it)

In this AU, Izuku never went to U.A, thus never becoming a hero nor getting All Might's Quirk - which means Mirio got One for All.

Izuku instead continued his life, getting into college after going into military service for a year or so. While in college, Izuku gets a sketchy email about him being selected as a participant in a contest, which he ignores. At least up until Izuku wakes up in the middle of nowhere (together with 9 more strangers) where System 16-564-53 tells them they are in a series of tests where their lives will be at stake.

Of course, one of the people there doesn't believe an iota of what it was said by the System, which prompted it to kill the "nuisance" as a warning for the other "players".

And so, Izuku finds himself in a position where his insecurities need to be left aside so that he can get out of here alive - and, hopefully, he can help the others survive too.

Unbeknownst to Izuku, the System is actually a part of All For One - one of the many Quirks he stole - which has its own hidden agenda with the tests. One thing is for sure, however, this is CLEARLY not the first time such tests have happened.

Some details:

Most of the people Izuku interacts with in the System are OCs. But there will be mentions of some other characters from the series.

Izuku is badass and has so much knowledge that comes in handy here.

Because Izuku is badass, most of the other "players" actually fall for him. I actually have an OC that I literally called "Simp" in my notes. His name is Yutō and he is my baby.

I actually have an Alternate AU where Hero!Izuku from Canon meets Yutō from the canon dimension, and they fall in love there, too.

Numbers and how things are worded play a very important role here.

All For One is the cause of everything and Izuku, in any universe, still ends up fighting against him. (Poor guy, even in an alternate universe, he can't take a break)

That being said, I may do a few fics that'll fix those god awful light novels. I already did In The Hot Seat, because that just showed that Aizawa couldn't give two shits that he was responsible in making Izuku's trust issues worse, and was more than happy to blame All Might for it.

I kind of tried addressing light novel 2 in An Attempt To Fly Under The Radar, where Kirishima realizes that he shouldn't have easily brushed off Bakugou's accomplices telling him that the three of them bullied Izuku in middle school so easily.

Light novel 6 would be incredibly different, given how Aizawa would be back at UA on probation and Midnight's now their homeroom. In addition, Eri would be with Mirio and his family, not Aizawa (God, I always hated that she was placed with Aizawa).

Given how Bakugou is technically expelled during Light Novel 3 in An Attempt To Fly Under The Radar, I'd say the cluster fuck that is Bakugou borderline abusing Kota's rabbit doesn't happen, mostly because of Todoroki being on hand to threaten him with another textbook.

That’s very true, but i was meaning if you were tempted to write a separate series from “An Attempt To Fly Under The Radar” and “The Hot Seat” and have the characters acting more accordingly (aka not simp for Bakugou and Aizawa). But I was simply curious. My apologies for not being clear enough!

Hello for today's scheduled fanfiction post I'm here to say something, for the love of the gods please if you're writing a fanfic that's x reader PUT THE GENDERS GENDER IN THE TAGS

I have found so many x reader fics that I had to just go into the story itself to see if it's what I was looking for and y'know what we need more male reader fics! I seriously just want a silly goofy x male reader fic about a character I like not to be catfished into clicking on a x female reader fic.

I in all honesty just want to see more x male reader fics because the amount of x female reader fics is too much at least when compared to x male reader, now why am I taking time to type this out? Because I literally just spent like 15 minutes trying to find one to read AND IT WAS ALL FEMALE READER I just wanted a silly little fanfiction to read because I'm bored and now I might just make a silly little fanfiction that's going to be utter shit because I HAVE DECENT WRITING SKILLS but I CAN'T WRITE FANFICTION TO SAVE MY LIFEEE
