It seemed like the cloud felt like hugging today so the sun didn't shine as bright but that didn't stop from the happiness we shared inside plus I got a floating cloud of my own to spread some positive vibes. I got asked what makes me happy and I returned the favor by asking the same question. 10 things that make me a happy person: 1. My life - I was given life and I can breathe and I am healthy. Can't ask for more so thank you to the AlMighty 2. Family - blood ones, friend ones, work ones 3. My leadership - not because they are leaders but they are humans who look at achieving daily but still manage to make it seem effortless 4. People who have goals and achieve them - I've been taught to set targets and beat them! I love and live it 5. Children - starting with my own! They teach me something new every day from kindness to patience to being funny and curious ! Why can't adults be the same ??? 6. Food ! Yup ... that's it ! 7. Appreciation - a smile, a pat on the back, a letter - this is the least one can do to make someone else feel special and even happy or happier 8. Helping others - don't just calculate how many favors you've done for others but that they can pay it forward as well and help others 9. The UNKNOWN ! I don't want to know everything - I want to discover and learn and grow - it keeps me on my toes 10. It's Miraculous Monday! Have you experienced small miracles lately? Encounters from Earth and Universe? I decided to declare Mondays as #miraculousmonday, to share some of these true life stories with you. Because it’s true-  we live in truly magical times! For our second adventure is an encounter that surprised my friend Xep recently. In her words: ‘So this happened... Nori the box turtle disappeared from her enclosure in the back yard over a year ago. I figured a raccoon had gotten her. Since then I rehomed our other two turtles because I figured the climate and environment was not suitable for them (they lived in a greenhouse in Yachats and thrived). I was just examining a rose bush along our back fence and who should I find but little Nori! She's fat and happy, looking fantastic (she had those scars on her shell before I adopted her). I'm torn between just letting her roam free in the yard again and finding her a more appropriate home. Glad to see you, little turtle friend!’ Xephaniah Fiddlehead Nubbinsworth The message really speaks for itself- Nori says “I’m still here!”  In other words- Endurance, self existence, lasting friendships. When I looked up the symbolism of the tortoise I found very similar ideas: Self belief, immortality, grounding. Thank you Xep, and Nori!
