A finger grazes the inside of her ankle, almost absent-minded in its touch if it weren’t for Vargo’s eyes on her face, patiently waiting for her response.

Her body betrays her. She shivers into Grey’s hold, feeling the warmth lick up her spine and her breath catch in her throat.

Vargo smiles.

“I told you,” Grey says behind her. “She’s very responsive.”

Ren twists as much as she can in his hold to face him. “You- discussed this, you have?” Grey chuckles softly, and her surprise and irritation and arousal twist together. “Husband.”

“Wife,” he counters, holding her gaze. A thumb strokes the line of her jaw. “If this is not something you desire, then we will do no more. But if this is what you want…”

Wordless, Ren twists back to look at Vargo, who appears unnaturally still. His hand rests gently on her leg, his chest heaves slightly as though he works harder to breathe. He looks from her to Grey, and his tongue darts out to wet his lower lip.

Oh, Ren realises, and the heat in her lower back begins to burn.

“Is this what you want?” Grey asks her again, nose nudging against the shell of her ear, shortly followed by the gentle scrape of his teeth.

“Is this what you want?” she counters, looking to both of them. For she will not allow her fantasy to come to life if it will hurt the two people she loves most.

Grey kisses her knuckles over their wedding ring. “I cannot deny that the idea of this has crossed my mind. It is not an expected arrangement - but when have the three of us ever done anything that someone expected of us?” His gaze settles on Vargo. “If it brings us all pleasure, why shouldn’t we allow ourselves to be happy?”

“I want you both,” Vargo says, and his voice rumbles with deep promise. “For months, I have been driven half-mad by the mere thought of either of you, but the idea of both of you at the same time…” He shakes his head. “I’m not sure what I’ve done to earn such a privilege- but by Azerais, I’m not saying no if that’s what you want."
