Design Look Back 03

Our first Model is King Piko, who quickly became a fan favorite. He was used for KING by Kanaria, covered by Vocaphilia. One of the first designed but last modeled Piko's, he's one of the few references that contain Piko's updated face.* An Easily missed fact, his crown does not sit directly on his head, but rather floats as a simple symbol of royalty without feeling entirely tangible. He was designed by Kimikeiki and Jjinomu, and was initially without a USB tail at all until MioDioDavinci drew one in the credit art. This prompted jjinomu to add it because she liked how it looked so much.

Our Second design is Devil Piko, used for the song Sweet Devil by HachiojiP and covered by Hasu Kei. He was designed by Kimikeiki with the general design theme of "Succubus / Incubus." He was also loosely based off of Miku's Honey Whip Module from Project Diva. He was not only a counterpart to Angel Piko to demonstration Piko's range, but also created with the transformation at the song's climax in mind. He was modeled by Maydayfireball.

*Very late into production, Piko's model got an updated face which can be seen in both King Piko and the second devil piko's reference images. It was created after a majority of the references images were already created and sent out to the artists, but all the piko's in the concert itself have this updated look. The biggest changes were adding a second eyelash flick and making his mouth a bit smaller.

Funny story so I was talking about a cover of song about cannibalism (it’s called ‘Full-Course for Candy Addicts’ by MioDioDavinci [the cover not the song-btw it’s a Vocaloid and it’s so fucking good you might get some inspiration from it lol]) and I was like ‘his voice is hot, he can eat me anytime.’ And my friends just choked and one was like ‘fucking hell do you even know what you just said’

10 songs you’re currently obsessed with

I’m sorry @copper-cable , my forgetful ass once again forgot to answer in time. Also, it was kinda difficult to pick up ten of them, since I tend to stuck on two or three which are repeating over and over until it becomes either remembered or boring. 

1.  Watashi no R – Kurokuma I really was torn between the original and the English version, but this one won. You can just fell the emotions from her voice. Also, the punchline will leave you speechless. 

2.  Aishite Aishite Aishite – JubyPhonic JubyPhonic is definitely one of my favorite artists when it comes to covers, and this one isn’t an exception. Wish I could reach the same voice range as her. 

3. Hurting for a Very Hurtful Pain – MafuMafu As I said before, hits too close from home. Also, it’s the one I can go from unfocused to focused in first few notes. Well, for the two loops at least. 

4. Miss wanna Die – Milkychan Another cover artist, another lyric telling a story. I really like her voice tbh. 

5. My crush was a monster boy – MioDioDaVinci Spotted during my lonely surfing the YouTube, this version has some great rhythm, great guitar part, and the voice. 

6. Never give up on your Dreams – Two steps from Hell BLESS. Bless this and whole songs of them. Especially this one. I’m just saying go listen to them. Now. 

7. Secret Garden – LittleJayneyCakes and djsmell Any of you remember Flowerfell? Yes? This will be a pain for you then. 

8. The Resistance – Skillet Skillet reminds me of younger, happier times, and of course, carries this heavy note. This one is especially important since it’s kinda connected to the end of my fanfic, but shhh...

9. Gospel of Dismay – Caleb Hyles Where the original is a wonderful piece, this cover is the one that I adore and prefer. Also, splitting for three voices fitting for three characters was a really good idea. 

10. Say Amen (Saturday Night) – Panic! At the Disco This one can let you feel like it’s already Saturday night, even if you’re still in Monday morning times. Kinda.
