the familiar haze and the sweet smell of wine of the bar was something you had always looked forward to. the seats are cushioned comfortably in deep velvet; much like the wine that the infamous shylock bennett served.

"how wonderful," the ring of the bell ringing as the door opens put a smile on shylock's face, "a familiar face. and here i thought that you'd somehow forgotten all about me."

you smile back. so does your heart; but it aches to know that he would greet other customers like this. which makes the heart wonder, for how long had he been keeping this up? how many hearts had he broken? you knew that nothing about your relationship with shylock was anything special to him, but your heart urged to still visit his tavern.

bennett's bar — a place that welcomes humans and wizards alike; souls that are lost come to share a drink to recollect themselves. it didn't matter if you were the strongest wizard or the weakest human in his tavern, for shylock harvests all the desire in your blood, only to serve them back to you.

shylock was known to have loved love itself — an alluring being you couldn't quite control. perhaps that may be the reason why both humans and wizards alike are fond of him; his eyes always smiled as his smile sly and his voice honeyed, a bartender must always tend to what his customers desire.

"the usual? or, perhaps, would you like to indulge in something special for tonight?" his voice slithered on your skin like honey, barely a whisper yet only you heard his words, "a special drink, just for you and me."

perhaps for this night, shylock bennett will be all yours to keep.

how fast do they say i love you?

while keito's favorites may vary from simple mornings or when he arrives home to you, he simply enjoys every second of the present and considers it his favorite — and every little thing you did make his heart flutter, like the way you fix his tie during mornings or the way you circle your thumbs around his knuckles was something he's certain he'd never forget.

how protective are they? how would they protect you? how would they like to be protected?

some would say he was very protective, but in his eyes, all was just and needed. he believed that you deserved a life filled with happiness ever since he saw you, and he will grant as much of it with his current power. no matter if anyone else saw the both of you, keito holds your hand gently. so long as you keep on making him happy, as you keep on teaching him new things everyday then he'll be happy for life.

how much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?

keito was more of an actions-over-words kind of guy, and in dates, anniversaries and gifts is where the wishes of his love lie in. he'll remember every detail of the things you liked that you told him many months ago, even before you began seeing each other, and slip them into the gifts he gives. it filles him with nothing but satisfaction and affection when he sees your reaction; how lucky he was to have you.
