No, because I genuinely cannot with most ideas of fiddauthor as one-sided, esp with most of them having Fiddleford liking Stanford (because obviously) and that not being reciprocated. Because, yes, Ford was shit at feelings and didn’t treat Fiddleford well on numerous occasions. But let’s not forget their college years, the way they bonded, the way that Ford talks about Fiddleford for the most part??? Even with Bill’s influence, there is still so much fondness and affection clear whenever he writes about ‘F’.

And the guilt that he still feels about what went down when working on the portal. He loved him so much!!! He admired him! They really loved each other and they were messy and they were complicated and they were both cheaters, but goddamnit we got into this for and expecting messy middle aged to old men, let’s let them be messy!
